The tour guide Loana was just fantastic and so professional during the tour and even beyond on the way back to Bucharest, even the driver was always helpful with a smiling face. We highly recommend the Two Castles one day tour organised by Travelmaker, keep up the good work.

Travelmaker helped me book train tickets for the overnight train from Bucharest to
Chisinau. This was done at no commission and so was very nice of them.
In addition, I booked and went on Travelmaker's two-day trip to Transilvania. This was an excellent trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and managed to keep the schedule.
(I don't recommend the night train from Bucharest to Chisinau but this was no fault of Travelmaker.) The driver/guide went to great lengths to help me make the train connection at the end of the Trip to Transilvania.
These guys really rock and know what they are doing.

The kind of tour for your comfortability and safety! Matthew did very well taking care of us. We are 5 Asians with different nationalities with the same van for Peles Castle, Brasov and Transylvania (Dracula Palace). Fantastic service and well equipped information as a tour/driver guide. Good job and well done Matthew!

With many thanks to Travelmaker who enriched my and my friends first Holiday experience in Romania. Everybody was very friendly and we had a good time on this 2 day trip. Hotel and Food was good and our guide had a lot of patience with us two girls who continued to mixe up the year dates of the Romanias rich and full packed history.

No lo cojáis, me siento estafado. Publicitan anuncios de excursiones con características totalmente falsas (el guía no explicó absolutamente nada y no proporcionaron audioguia en español). Al principio dicen que es en Español pero si lees la letra pequeña pone que sólo es la audioguia. El Castillo de Peles estaba cerrado y no hubo alternativa para cisitar (como sí indicaban en el anuncio). Estáis engañando a los usuarios y quiero que me devuelvan el dinero.

Our guide's name was Serban. He started the day off by being prompt and on time. He was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. He was very friendly, had a good personality and was very nice. He had a great sense of humour. Although the trip was long, he kept us informed through out the day. He really knew the countries history and was able to relay the information by weaving the time and events in a historic way, like good story tellers do. The drive showed off Romania in a positive way, the countryside was really beautiful.

I recomend totally the excursion to this 3 city with Travel Maker and of course with the crazy guide tour man Serban Riga. The travel it was fantastic, the castle of Peles is stunning, wonderful and Transilvania too.

We are just back from Romania (two of us travelling) and the trip was made perfect thanks to TravelMaker and our lovely and patient guide Laura. The tour is well organised and well rounded. Laura showed professionalism and shared her knowledge with enthusiasm. She also proved to be an excellent driver as we were blessed with snow which added to the mysterious medieval atmosphere of Transylvania (thankfully the snow did not seem to phase Laura). She also took the time, at our request, to take us to Viscri which was not on the programme and this was much appreciated as we were already running late because of the weather. The drive back through the sinuous roads of the Carpathian mountains was slow but magical thanks to the snow covered trees, a forest of white filaments as the headlights shone on them. I would definitely recommend visiting Transylvania in winter. Nothing disappointed from Brasov to Bran but our favourites turned out to be Peles Castle and Sighisoara (and the street food experience outside of Bran Castle). The hotel in Sighisoara was basic but perfect as its style blended well with the overall feel of the place. There, we also enjoyed a concert of carol and gospel singers as mulled wine kept us warm. We found that the food was better in the medieval fortress than it was in Bucharest. My husband and I have visited many European countries including Central European ones but we were left with the firm impression that Romania should be one of the first countries to visit in Eastern Europe. It has so much to offer. Its treasures are scattered all over the place so unless one wants to rent a car, an outfit like TravelMaker is perfect to take a party of two or several around. I was so taken by this understated country that I am now reading avidly about its history in general and its Saxon heritage in particular. I now understand why Prince Charles - who is related to the Romanian royal family and owns a property in Viscri - is so taken by this unassuming and beautiful country which is well worth discovering, beyond the Dracula narrative. So thanks again to Laura and TravelMaker to have helped us add memorable days to our lives.

Let me start off by saying I am not the type to leave feedback for employees, unless I receive unbelievably horrible service. I am happy to say this is not the case for this review. I could not imagine getting a better tour guide than Boogie.
I’ve never been on a tour and didn’t know what to expect. Boogie was kind, funny, energetic, inclusive, personable, and incredibly accommodating. He recommended top-notch places to eat, and helped out when I was having trouble with the heater in my hotel room. He even offered to take us to the city center of Bucharest and let us walk around at the end of the trip.
Boogie has set some pretty high standards/expectations for the next tour I do. If you do this trip, ask for Boogie. He will not disappoint!!

Our purchasing transaction for the tour on Tripadvisor was very easy and smooth. When we contacted the agency to get a confirmation on the program, the operator instantly replied back, giving all the required information.
Our tour guide Valentin picked us from our hotel as scheduled – he was very punctual, like the rest of the tour. Luckily, we were the only travelers in the tour that booked for the date, so it was such a VIP experience for us.
Once on board, Valentin informed us about the scope of the tour that was awaiting us. To be honest, I have never seen such a sophisticated and intellectual tour guide before! He was awesome indeed – he has quite a broad background of history, geography, theology, and politics, which we significantly benefited from. He is also a very careful driver.
Our two-day tour was very fun, coming in with lots of new information, laughter, jokes, and wonderful memories.
I would absolutely recommend the “2-Day Transylvania from Bucharest: Brasov, Bran, Sighisoara” tour to anybody willing to have a Transylvania experience!

We booked for 6 people on Tue Sept. 20 - Wed Sept. 21, and since we noticed on the webpage for this tour that Peles Castle is closed on Tuesday, we would like to see if the order for the tour could be reversed so that the visit to Peles Castle could be on the second day (Wednesday) when the castle would be open.

I am planning to visit Bucuresti from September 27 to 30, and would like to join this tour from 9/28.
But it could not get through to reservation site which does not accept my request because I am traveling alone no companion. Is there any way being able to make booking. I will pay single use room fee of course.

Hello, I'm planning travel to Romania maybe in the second middle of 2020. I'll make a reserve for 8 days there, my question is if I buy a trip as this 2 or 3 days in Transylvania. Do I need to reserve the 8 days when I'll buy my trip? Because this trip include hotel, explan for me.

Unfortunately we were only in Romania for a short period so did not do any other trips. I'm pretty sure Travel Maker Tours do day trips to Bran and Brasov which you may be able to join as lots of people do these from Bucharest. If you really wanted to do Sighisoara, it might be worth looking into buses from Bucharest. It would definitely be worth the effort. Sighisoara was the highlight for us.
