Firstly I’d like to say our guide/driver was brilliant, very interesting information, history and brilliant driver !! There were several people on the road who weren’t good drivers. While I enjoyed the last stops lunch at Budva didn’t see the point of it unless your into bigger towns . The second stop was lovely Kotor. But there is wall /hill to climb but as we only had 2hrs would have been enough to climb if I’d wanted to (I didn’t). But was a lovely wander around. The first stop st step end church was pretty but again didn’t need the time there unless you go across to little man made island which is €10 , again I didn’t think it was worth it but did it . The whole trip was £135 / 10/11hrs and didn’t think it was worth it. Except our driver /guide wjo was brilliant

Absolutely loved the first 2 stops of the tour. This style of tour, Dana would tell us interesting facts and history in the van ride there and then leave us to roam the area for a certain amount of time.
Perast was so beautiful and we got there early before any other tours so the streets were quiet. We got some time to roam and our tour guide arranged a boat ride to an island with a church on it. We could not stop talking pictures of the breathtaking scenery. The mountains, crystal clear water and old buildings were beautiful. This time of year is quiet.
The next stop was Kotor and it is a walled medieval old town. I personally loved the shops and wish I knew ahead of time. Bring euros so you can bargain a good price. There were plenty of gift shops along with clothing and shoes and to my surprise and delight fantastic really good fake designer bags, but very high quality. They had all the current trending styles of designer bags, from 100 euro and up because the quality was so good. They had leather jackets, replica designer watches, clothes, boots, silk and cashmere scarves and more. There is also a beautiful walk up the mountain. You only have to go up a few rows of stairs to get amazing views of the port below. You can continue up but we didn’t have enough time. I wish we could have spent more time at this location.
Lastly we stopped at Budva. Compared to Dubrovnik and Kotor this walled city is much smaller. There are a few shops and restaurants. We did enjoy a late lunch Beach side.

Coastline views are stunning .when they can be seen. Our guide was knowledgable and professional . I can’t give you his name as when asked he gave multiple generic names John Juan Ivan . Guest in our uncomfortable minivans with restricted views home countries included uk Mexico Switzerland . HOWEVER website says 7.30am start . NOT TRUE. 6.40am with only one more collection less than 5 minutes away . When queried as not pleased it’s almost an hour earlier than stated we are told it’s in the additional information . TRUE . This is because the city authorities don’t allow the pickups for the coach tours after 7am. They are charging every minute after staying in that area after 7am and that’s is why it’s such an early pickup . Direct what’s app reply . SO as we got fast tracked early bird special through border control Got to our first stop perast so early 8.20am nothing in the one street town was open yet . No boats to go to lady of the rock that early either .it was beautiful and peaceful though so just enjoyed the views . By the time we were leaving 9.20am that had changed shops had opened and boats were running . Next stop Kotor which is lovely . We decided to use our two hours there to hike up to St. John’s fortress €8 per person great views . We still had time to look about the old town somewhat and grab an ice cream . Then on to budva. Nothing spectacular in this town to be honest . It would be better value to get more time in Kotor or choose another place of interest. If budva is a must set up a boat trip around the bay as an additional excursion instead of two hours wasted . Return journey time via the little ferry is good after a long day . Our guide ( no name) stopped for a Dubrovnik scenic photo op at a traveller in our groups request . A nice touch to end the trip .

Hi Tony,
thank you for your review.
The city of Dubrovnik has introduced traffic regulations that restrict pick-ups in a large area around the Old Town. That is why your pick-up time was 6.40 am.
Also, your drivers name was Ivan. John is Ivan in English, for example. Ivan was not hiding his identity from you, and is one of our best drivers.
Thank you for booking with us,

A great day trip from Dubrovnik! Our guide was very informative, providing us with historical and present day facts/information on the drive. The early start meant we avoided any queues at the border and were at most locations before the crowds (cruise ships!) We really enjoyed all 3 stops and would recommend anybody to visit Montenegro!

This was a great tour but a very long day. We were ready at the Pile Gate in Old Town Dubrovnik at 6.45 am for pick up at 7am. As we had already been on another tour, we knew the drill to locate your tour (keep your eyes and ears open for your name to be called by numerous, different tour guides!!). We got on the bus and it departed promptly. We sat on the right hand side of the bus as enjoyed sea views until our toilet break/coffee stop before the border crossing. The border crossing took about an hour (where all you are doing is sitting on the bus waiting). It is the biggest time waster of these tours into other countries. First stop was Prevast and the joy of the surrounding scenery. It was perfect weather, the blue of the sea mirroring that of the sky. When getting off the bus at Prevast, you have a choice of wandering the town or a short boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks. We chose the boat trip but in hindsight, wish I'd chosen to wander the town. The boat trip cost 10 euros and last maybe 5 minutes. They drop you at the island to wander for about 20 minutes. There is a museum and the Catholic Church on the island, with a fee to enter. We didn't bother and just waked around. At least being on an island gives a different perspective and opportunity to photos. This islet is man made and legend has it that back in 1452, someone found an icon of the Madonna and Child and decided to leave a rock there after every sea voyage, thus building the island. We returned to shore and back to the bus where it was not far to Kotor. This walled town of Kotor is lovely and we happily wandered here for two hours, enjoying pizza and gelati. You can walk the perimeter walls but it is very steep and I don't know that it can be done in the two hour window and you'd need to be pretty fit to even try. Once again we returned to the bus, sans a few passengers who did not come back in time, despite waiting. We headed to our final destination of Budva. I don't feel that Budva had the old charm of the other two cities but it was still nice. It is more likely to be a reflection of me being tired by this time. I do think it would have been lovely to have a swim, had we planned ahead with bathers and towels. We walked to the old town and along the beach but I think we were very ready to head back to Dubrovnik by then. We got back on the bus, taking a ferry across the Bay of Kotor to shorten the journey home. However, the queue at the border crossing was horrendous. We were dropped off at our morning collection point at 10pm, making it a very long day. I don't know how the tour guide and bus driver manage it, day in and out. Super Tours were great, our guide pleasant and informative and it was good value for money.

Hello, I would like to join the day trip, but I don't have a passport. I read on the website of the Foreign Office that it is possible with German citizenship with an identity card. Is that sufficient?

We are planning on visiting Montenegro from Dubrovnik! We are from Greece and my question is, do we need to carry passports? Or an ID card is okay to cross the borders? Since Greece and Montenegro are in European Union.

You need passports, Montenegro is, in fact, not a member of the EU but a candidate to join the union. They’re not in Schengen either.
They accept ID from some European countries (I don’t know if they accept Greek ID cards), but a passport is the best way to be sure of not having troubles at the border.

Hi, I'm trying to book a tour for two adults and a child but when I enter two adults and a child for any date, I can't book it, but when I enter three adults, I can. Should I just book the tour for three adults?

Hi, I'd like to book this experience in a Sunday in April, however I have to fly back home from Podgorica on Monday morning, is there any chance I could stay in Kotor instead of coming back to Dubrovnik and could you kindly direct me to the bus station on the day?
Thank you in advance!
