We spent 3 days in Dubrovnik and took 3 tours with Dubrovnik Top tours (Mostar, Montenegro and Dubrovnik walking tour). We were assigned Boris for those tours. I would venture to label him Mr Dubronik or Mr Croatia!. Boris is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge of history. He practically knows everyone on the street or more accurately stated, a lot of people know him. We had a very enjoyable time with him. We learnt a lot and saw the charm of Croatia. We never ran out of conversation. He can talk for hours on anything!. He was also very punctual and was also very flexible throughout those 3 days. Booking the tours was a breeze and Ivana who manages the company was very professional and prompt. I would give the highest rating for tours offered by Dubrovnik Top Tours. I highly recommend them.

Our driver was fantastic! He talked about the history and current issues of the areas we visited. He gave us the option to spend as much time as we wanted at every stop and gave recommendations on what to do. He made sure we had time to visit Medugorje.

I can hardly summon up the superlatives to convey what an outstanding day trip this was and to recommend this company to you more highly. My husband, teenage son and I had the most wonderful time with our fabulous guide, Boris. He picked us up from our apartment in Cavtat at 8am and we were out well into the evening - he amazed us with his energy and enthusiasm, right to the end of the day. He took great care of us and, although it was a bit of a journey to get there, it flew by with his interesting - and often, amusing - tales along the way. He was really kind to my son and made a real effort to engage him in conversation and keep him entertained. Boris was a super-safe driver and we travelled in comfort in his air-conditioned vehicle. The temperature in Mostar was over 40 degrees but completely bearable when you could cool down with the air-con afterwards. We loved Mostar and were delighted to find that Boris had organised a special walking tour with Emir, an exceptionally eloquent Mostar local, who showed us the city - all parts, not just the more touristy part around the bridge - and explained so much about the history and character of the region. We felt really honoured to spend time with him and can hardly stop thinking about the information he shared with us. After our tour, Boris had organised a lovely lunch at Sadrvan, where we enjoyed sharing the Bosnian 'national plate' in a cool, shady courtyard. After time to browse for souvenirs, we set off to the Kravica waterfalls where we had a great time cooling down with a swim by the falls. After we had spent the time we wanted to there, we drove back to Ston in Croatia and had an opportunity to walk a section of the wall, before Boris recommended a beautiful seafood restaurant where we were able to sample the incredibly fresh shellfish, collected locally. Saying goodbye to Boris, later that evening, literally felt like saying farewell to a good friend - he was an amazing ambassador for Croatia and we loved his pride in his country and the wealth of information he shared - we couldn't imagine meeting a nicer guide, to be honest. If you are thinking about a day trip from the Dubrovnik area, this is the company to opt for - it was such a highlight of our holiday! Thank you, Boris and Ivana, for your outstanding hospitality - we're hanging on to your business card for our next trip to Croatia!

We took a private guided tour with Boris while in Dubrovnik. Our group was 4 women and we had an amazing time. Boris is so nice and entertained us for the entire drive on the history of Croatia and the region we were going through as well as many funny stories which had us laughing along the way. Our first stop was in Mostar and it was great having him along. He knew everyone and where was the best place to eat and shop. I also felt more comfortable having him as a guide as Mostar was a little challenging culturally. But absolutely beautiful city and well worth the visit. We also visited Kravice waterfalls which was beautiful. On the way back we stopped in the town of Ston and walked the walls and learned all about salt. All in all Boris made it one of the best days of our trip. I highly recommend yours with Boris and his family.

Don’t even think about going with another company. We almost did but the other place canceled on us so we gave Dubrovnik Top Tours a call and booked a Mostar tour right away to replace the cancellation. Dubrovnik Top Tours is the only way to go!
With the wonderful Boris as our guide, my husband and I enjoyed the day trip to Mostar. Boris will educate you about Croatia and the city of Mostar as you enjoy the scenery along the way. Boris knew many of the locals while we toured the city. You can tell that he loves meeting people and values the relationships that are made. He recommended a restaurant for lunch (Sadrvan) and it was delicious!

Igor, our tour guide, was excellent. I have been on many tours in many countries and he is the best! Would definitely recommend.

We took a day trip with a family of 8 to Mostar and Montenegro with Igor. The first trip we took was to Montenegro and the second was to Mostar. We will be going on another tour tomorrow because we have enjoyed the tours with Igor so much. We felt very safe and Igor was so accommodating, fun, knowledgeable, flexible, and laid back. We really enjoyed his company and couldn’t believe how much he knew about Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro. Igor really tailored the trips to our different preferences and needs. He never made us feel like we were a burden in any way. The tours truly feel as if you are with a local friend who is driving you around. If you are looking for a tour or day trip near Dubrovnik, I would highly recommend you choose this small, family run business! Thank you, Igor!

I really enjoyed all of the tours we took during our 3 weeks in Europe. Unfortunately our group really didn't think this tour was a winner. Our guide was great....really nice and informative about the history and current climate in Croatia! We really liked him! The drive to Mostar was slow and timely, with long waits at the border. The bridge was beautiful and it was exciting to see the divers, but Mostar was small, SUPER crowded and ultimately just underwhelming. We did have a great lunch with amazing views, but it was really far to go and we all agreed we would not have gone had we known the outcome.

Thank you for being our dear guests and for your review. I am sorry it didn't turn out like you hoped for but there is so little we can do about the border crowds and crowds in Mostar this time of year, especially during the weekend days. We are not happy about this also but we can't do much except hope for the best each time to cross the border as easier as we can. The best we can do is always recommend to start early so we can beat the border crowds.
I am glad you enjoyed the bridge and lunch in Mostar and especially your guide which is the most important to us, that we provide a good service given the circumstances we work in.
