Informative and well-organized. There's enough time for all activities, including "in-betweens" especially toilet break. The bus is in the newer side and is so comfortable. This is a good a activity if you want to explore Montenegro.

Tuesday 14th June and we booked on a day tour from Dubrovnik to the Bay of Kotor. We booked the tour through a TUI Rep at our hotel, Tui Blue Kalamato on Kolocep.
The Tour Operator was Gullivers Travels, however, but our Guide Ivana and coach driver Bogdan were provided by Majic Travel.
Our tour started at 07.55 when we sailed from Kolocep to Gruz Dubrovnik, where we arrived at 08.20 and picked up our coach.
Along the way, at about 09.00, we had a brief pit stop at a shopping mall.
Arriving at Portonovi at around 09.30 we had a short walk to get to our boat, Katica. The tour got under way at 10.20, we had a forty minute wait for other people to join the tour, not the best start.
Our guide Ivana was on hand to provide us with historical, cultural, social information along with interesting facts.
We sailed along the stunning shoreline of the Bay, which took us past the Bay of Tivat and the Port of Montenegro. The Bay is flanked by the Orjen mountains to the west, and the Lovćen mountains to the east. These provide the Bay with some glorious scenery.
We sailed through the narrow straight of Verige which is 2.4 kilometres long and
340 metres (1,120 feet) wide at its narrowest point.
This took us to the inner bay where we saw, off the coast of Perast, the small Islands of St George and it's Monestary and Our Lady of the Rocks.
At 12.05 we docked at and visited the beautiful Church and Museum on the Island of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of the highlights of the tour.
We left the Island at 12.55 and sailed off into the stunning Bay towards the old Town of Kotor.
On the way food, included in the tour, was served, a three course lunch including red and white wine. The food was rather basic at best, and plonked on the table would more accurate then served.
We arrived at Kotor at 14.30 where we were
free to explore the old City for an hour and a half. We entered the Town through Sea Gate and we visited a number of the points of interest in the City. This included St Tryphon Cathedral and Museum, Piazza of the Arms with the Clock Tower and Obelisk, Gurdich Gate. Monastery and Church of Saint Claire, Kotor Bazar, Ruins of St Nicholas Monastery and so much more.
We rejoined our boat and departed from Kotor at 16.00 and we arrived back at Portonovi and the coach at 17.20. We arrived at the Montenegro boarder crossing at 17.55 There was a two kilometre stretch of road between Montenegro and Croatian Customs. This was once lined with duty free shops which have long gone.
We speedily passed through the Croatian Customs, arriving at 18.03 and leaving at 18.10.
On arrival back in Dubrovnik our boat was waiting to take us back to Kolocep in time for dinner at our hotel.
We had a most enjoyable tou, bit of a long day but well worth it. Despite some delays and awful food it was an excellent tour.

Fantastic day! Maria, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The van was very confortable and the driver safe. Everything ran smoothly to schedule. We enjoyed a stunning boat ride, the visit of The Lady of the Rocks and had plenty of time to discover and enjoy Kotor! 5 star service for a 5 star trip 🤩

It was okay. The toilets at the gas station were a horror, but there was no other option. Maybe the tour agent should plan a different stop with better restroom facilitities. The explanations given by the local guide in the boat trip from the Lady of the Rock to Kotor were inaudible to most of the tourists, due to the loud motor sound of the steamer.

Very beautiful views during the whole journey with some funny stories from our guide Karla.
Perast was a nice little town. From there we took a boat to lady of the lake and eventually to Kotor. Photographic mountais and small towns on the shore made the boat ride very enjoyable.
At this time of year there wasnt too many tourists in Kotor, so the old town was very pleasant to be in. Montenegro is very cheap place to visit.
Only down side are the border crossings which might take a while, so I wouldn't make big plans after tour, since you never know.
Overall highly recommend for everyone to take this tour.

Terrible company!!
First they wont allow you to take your paid breakfast at your accommodation and keep waiting in the street for them and they come late , then you do lots and lots of pickup more than school bus till the bus has no place to breathe if the bus is 50 seats They wont go on with 49 passenger. Thats what matter to stuck in people as possible as they can in 1 bus and 1 boat and get their benefit with their tight schedule which serve their interest not people interest. Imagine going on a break and give you 20 mins in a busy supermarket or cafe with other companies plus your 50 co-passengers. Then you find that food ran out of this place while the tour guide and driver are sitting eating ignoring what is happening around. Rude drivers. lousy & not caring and not useful tour guides. All what matter collecting money and telling return time.
It was hell for me and please dont go with them !

Where do we start. From the moment we were picked up we were told there will ‘t be a swim stop. This was part of the package. Especially as it was going to be 98c that day!
And as promised we didn’t get to swim. There is on so much pretty scenery you can see on a boat for 2.5 hours. Stopped at the island and was so hot we dipped our kegs in the sea instead of going into the church.
Tgere were people on the boat going mad at the guides. Then we were bribed with a 3 course lunch which we didn’t ask for just to make up for no swimming g. What a waste of food. It was terrible. Then decided to plonk bottles of wine & water on the table. Any other drinks had to be paid for. I bought a drink a crew member tried to overcharge me. He slapped the correct amount into my hand .
Then finally got to koror bay. By the time with disembarked and got over the road we had 49 mins to see kotor. As it was so hot we stopped for a drink . By the time we had that it was time to go back.
The whole trip was a tidal waste of time and was a very long,boring boiling hot dsy . 12 hours actually. Save your money and go on a decent trip.
We booked via tui . It was gulliver travel. We reported this trip. So if you are thinking of going. Say you want a swim stop guaranteed or a refund.

Tour was smooth, guide was knowledgeable, beautiful country that I recommend visiting but it’s a LOT of time in the bus and border crossing takes a long time (it took us 45 mins to one hour each way despite being 2nd in line both times and there was always a long line of buses). We were staying in the Old Town so we were the first pick up at 6:40am and we did not get on the road until 7:50 after all the pick ups and we still picked up more people along the way. However, Old Town was then the first drop off point. AC was sufficient on the bus and we made one stop for the bathroom on the way there but we did not stop on the way back and the bathroom was “broken” on the bus. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and we got to spend almost an hour crossing the Bay of Kotor by boat which is a beautiful way to see the country. Just be advised that you are signing up for a bus tour and therefore you will spend more time on the bus then you actually do on the ground.

Our hotel suggested this tour and it was great value , there were only 8 of us in the minibus and everyone got on well and shared the experience . its an early start 0700 and we got back to our hotel about 1730.
The scenery is breath-taking and the oat trip to The Lady of the Rock is very interesting plus you get a great view of the mainland as you go from the the Rock on the boat.
Kotor is also beautiful , there is a guided 45min tour included , but we decided to do our own thing , as its only a few streets and you can see what you like. It cn be blisteringly hot first week of June it was 35degs so plenty of water (or stop for a lovely beer and plate of Mussels which is their local delicacy) lots of churches and tiny streets and for any Cat lovers there is a cat hotel with the local cats basking lazily in the sunshine.
Would be nice to have moe time in Persat as it looked beautiful the water so inviting , but no time given to have a quick swim (perhaps we should have negotiated this with our driver)
It was good value , bear in mind its just one road from Dubrovnik and if there's a crash or road works there's no alternate route.

The day trip to Montenegro (Perast, Lady of the Rocks, Kotor) was absolutely great.
The pick up by bus was smooth and on time, the bus very comfortable and clean. It took some time to collect all passengers from different locations in the greater Dubrovnik area and unfortunalely the wait a the border crossings was quite long as there were many busses on that day. We had a wonderful tour guide - Ivan - who was very considerate and knowledgeable. He provided a lot of intersting and memorable information about the area, it´s history and people.
The boot tour to Our Lady of the Rocks was really nice and you had a beautiful view on the bay with it´s small towns.
In Kotor a local tour guide showed us around the Old Town before we had the chance to spend some free time there. I took the copportunity to climb up to the fort on the hill (entrance fee 8 €) and was rewarded with the most spectacular view. I can highly recommend this climb! However, make sure to wear proper shoes, as the hills are steep and the old stone streets can be very slippery!
The pick up by bus was smooth and on time, the bus very comfortable and clean. It took some time to collect all passengers from different locations in the greater Dubrovnik area and unfortunalely the wait a the border crossings was quite long as there were many busses on that day. Hi! Is it possible to take this day tour as a single trip and then stay in kotor for a few days?
