The Food Tour was a lot of fun. Although we were only two people (me and my friend), the 3 hours of the tour felt interesting and familiar. The english skills of our guide were better than ours combined, but everything was understandable and well explained. The food was delicious, so was the wine and everything else. Thanks for the good time :)

We have to admit that we have been digging deep to give you the best and the most fun experience of the city. You can be alone on the tour as a private one and our guides realy give their all to get you the best tour ever. With a knowledge and english level such as Stefano has is amazing, and we are happy to have him in our team.
If you will be back to Pula let us know we are prepring some new tasty experiences.

It was basically just as advertised. It did start a bit slow as the initial portions were tiny and it turned out you had to buy your own drink in one place - as well we dropped by one place that had free tastings for everyone (including the public - we had already been there earlier in the day). So we were thinking, what have we paid for? But it picked up after that towards the end. Maybe the expectations could have been set out just a bit more at the start.
Big credit to Miroslava who was a lovely and friendly guide. That made the tour for us as we enjoyed having the chance to ask her about Istria, Croatia and the local customs. The group size was also ideal as you got to chat with others.
Overall, I thought it was a bit pricy for what it is. The food is good enough and you get a good variety, but Croatian cuisine is fairly basic - don’t expect some bougie gourmet foodie experience. Similarly we found it comfortably filling but don’t expect a huge feast. Overall, we liked the concept of trying out a few places and moving about on our feet, and we had a pleasant night out in Pula.

Thank you so much for your 5-star review we are so happy to read tht you had an enjoyable tour with us.
With this tour we want you to get the basics about the city history, culture, and gastronomy. You stop at several POI where your guide walks you through the important minuments and attractions and in the same time you have 5 restaurant stops that get you to taste several croatian and specially istrian dishes accompanied with a local wine ..food such as truffles with pasta are a part of it as well :).
Our guide Miroslava will he happy to read your review and we are glad that she is in our team definitely.
If you will be back to Pula anytime soon do let us know we would be happy tto host you again.

My tour was essentially a private one and good value for money - a nice way to spend an evening. Miroslava was very knowledgeable about local food and customs, and showed interesting (and surprisinly abundant) historical sites.

Despite the fact that I known Pula quite well, a local tour guide who took us around town showed us awesome (new and hidden) places, real gems, spiced with great stories behind them. To top up the whole experience, local cuisine - from the cold starter, finger foods, through main courses to dessert - was just amazing. The served food was tasteful, well made, and the selection of plates (and restaurants where these were served) was very well balanced, ranging from seafood, fish, pasta to local sausages and vegetables. Wines from the region, from fresher to heavier ones were simply cherries on the top of this pleasant, vibrant, and enjoyable evening. I'd say this is a must-do tour, especially if you appreciate good local food, light walk, and great Istrian wines.

A great tour to introduce you to both Pula itself and also Istrian food/drink.
Lots of high quality food across a number of restaurants. You circle the old city and get historical facts interspersed between eating and drinking tonnes of lovely, local, traditional cuisine.
I'm sure it changes, pending availability, but we had everything from fish to cheese to liquor to wine and about 8 other things. Truly a great sampling.
Also don't be alarmed if the guide disappears once you arrive at the restaurant, she is sorting logistics and will be soon back!

We are trying to combine both, Istria and Pula on one side and local food and drinks on the other. We take you to a couple of tasting spots so you get a full dinner from cold starter to dessert at the end. The menu can change due to the season for us to be able to provide fresh and tasty food for everyone joining us.

This is a perfect combination of a short, evening walk through the lovely city center, learning about the history, art and culture of Pula, Istria and Croatia, and tasting some good quality wines and tasty local food - from home made pasta with truffles, fish taco, olive oils and brandies… and much more! It was a yummy and lovely experience with a guide from Pula who knows many secrets!

The food tour was absolutely amazing! A historic walk through the city accompanied with seven excellent food stops. Our tour guide Kim was great, very insightful. She revealed a lot of interesting facts about the city and its culinary background. We tasted traditional Istrian food, drinks and there is also a local desert!😉
You definitely need to come hungry on this tour, becouse there is a lot waiting for you. We highly recommend!

Wooow, we are so happy for your review, it is nice to hear that you had the BEST food tour with us.
There is no better feeling than to read such a nice words about our tours. Our idea is to show you all at our Food tours, so we take you to several restaurants for you to taste traditional Istrian food and in the same time we guide you through history and facts about our city. Pula has a lot to offer and we want to deliver it at the highest level.

This tour is a great and authentic way to see various places in Pula and learn about their historical, cultural or political background. The tour guide Sarah -who has German and Croatian roots and is therefore fluent in both languages (English too!)- is a kind, open-minded but also highly knowledgeable young lady.
The different types of food were not only delicious, but also provided the ultimate insight into the variability of the Croatian cuisine.
Regarding the price, this tour is more than a bargain. Join the tour!

With my girlfriend we were spending a day at the beach and searching for the evening tour when Food tour poped up. We were only 4 in the group so it felt very private and Kim our guide did a great job taking us from history to culinary and back. All 7 dishes are very authentic for Istria and some are accompanied with wine. Amazing thing is that once you sit the food is served and you never have to wait for it 🤤👍🏻
