Outstanding day visiting iconic Transylvanian castles. We travelled from Scotland to tour Romania and were not disappointed.
Our guide was a lovely and knowledgeable man, very good company and having the luxury of a private tour makes the entire experience a lot more personal and enjoyable. You can take your time, learn more about the places and engage in interesting conversations.
Highly recommend this tour. It's been the highlight of our Romanian adventure.

Highly recommend this day tour of castles. Of course we love Brasov as one of our bases in Romania. And Florin is an excellent guide, a good driver, and knows everything cultural and historical about Romania past/current changes. We had already visited Bran Castle which was great (and it snowed that day!) so Florin modified our trip for us with visits and thorough commentary: Ghimbov fortified church (very interesting), Saxon villages, Manastirea Caraiman, Rosnov Fortress (a bit of walking and gorgeous scenery), and Peles Castle. Wonderful day.

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima giornata in compagnia della guida Florin, una persona simpaticissima e molto preparata sulla storia della Romania. Abbiamo visitato il castello di Peles che ne è valsa assolutamente la pena. La seconda tappa è stata al castello di Bran e infine abbiamo visitato la fortezza di Rasnov anche se purtroppo era sotto ristrutturazione. Grazie a questo tour abbiamo avuto l'occasione di visitare le bellezze della Transilvania, visto che sono abbastanza distanti tra di loro.

The Castles tour was amazing. Peles Castle is the most exquisite castle I have ever seen, Bran Castle had a special charm to it and the Râşnov Citadel (despite being closed and under construction) was spectacular and the views were incredible.
We really enjoyed Florin’s company which is very important on a 7-8 hour trip. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about each Castle and about the many general Romania questions that we asked him. His knowledge and good conversation made the day perfect. We are grateful for the chance to visit and would highly recommend Florin for this or any of his other tours.

Lovely day with Florin and a great way to see the top sites in one day. Florin was great with navigating traffic, very knowledgeable about Romania and let us take out time when we wanted or move on when we wanted. Beautiful day and highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was amazing!! It really is the best way to see all three castles in one day. The tour guide picked us up from our hotel room and knew the best routes to avoid most of the traffic and get us in front of the long lines. Due to the castles being crowded tourist traps we would have had a hard time navigating it on own and would have been much more time consuming/frustrating. Due to it being a private tour, we were able to take all the time we wanted taking pictures and stopping for food occasionally. The guide was extremely knowledgeable in history of all the castles, making it much richer experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Florin was an excellent guide with loads of valuable information about the history of Romania, politics, and the sites we visited. He drove carefully and navigated around long traffic pile ups. He was very considerate and patient with our requests and gave us excellent food recommendations when we wanted to try local cuisine! I highly recommend this itinerary for anyone who wants to see some of the top sites near Brasov, especially if you only have a day to do so!

The castles tour is a "must" if you go to Braşov. Florin is an excellent guide, he knows Transylvania like the palm of his hand and speaks very good english.
About the castles: Peleş is the most beautiful one (visit both floors, not only the 1st) and Bran is the most famous. Rasnov is ok (medieval fortress).

We enjoyed our day with Florin. It was a special day in Romania (2nd of january) and the road was crowded. Florin knew how to manage to realize the tour and to visit the 3 places. He always drove carefully. He gave us many informations about Romania during all the day and helped us to go to the entrance of the castles, always paying attention if we could enter in the castles for the visit. He also visited Rasnov with us and guided us in all the citadel. We realized a second day tour with Florin, which was as perfect as this one ! Thank you very much !

We had a lovely day out with Florin on our 2nd day in Romania.
Millions of questions about Romania, we got our answers at the end of the trip.
The only unfortunate was the Peles castle was closed for the annual cleaning :(

Hi I will be arriving on the 6th of March by train it arrives in brasov at 8.46 am would it be possible for a pick up at brasov station to do the three castles there will be 2 of us how many is in a group thanks mark

So the trip pick up is early am. For us it was at 7:30 from our Air BnB in the city center and we didn't get back until 5:30 pm - you would not be able to do all 3 spots unless you have all day. It will allow you to book for just 2 people and up to 4 (we had 4).

Yes you can enter the castles but you need to pay for the entrance fee when you arrive.
