Great experience. Our tour guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable of every site that was visited. Would recommend to anyone.

Was picked up from hotel in Hurghada and drove to luxor took just over 3hrs was plenty of check points but felt really safe and we had a good driver.met our guide khaled who was waiting with ice cold water much needed as it was so hot,went to karnak temple khaled is so knowledgeable and told us all the history,visited Queen Hatshepsut temple,valley of the Kings 3 tombs but payed extra to visit tutankhamun tomb well worth the visit,went on a boat on the Nile at extra cost to banana Island and had lunch which was very tasty this was in the price of the trip,then was drove back to hotel in the comfort of Air con car where the driver stopped off and got us sugar cane drinks so cool and refreshing was a brilliant day thank you so much khaled tour guide.

Excellent choice if you are staying at Hirghada and only have a day to spare to see Luxor.
We were picked up at our hotel in Hurghada by Zak. He was professional and friendly although didn't speak much English.
It was around 4hr car ride to Luxor with a short stop halfway for toilet break coffee etc.
We were joined by our guide Khaled in Luxor and then first saw the Karnak temple. Entry tickets are not included as mentioned in the tour details. The counters accept card or cash. I paid mostly by card and there was no problems.
After this we went to one of PApyrus shops which sells genuine papyrus rather than from banana leaf etc.
Then we took a felucca which is a sailboat across the nile to the West Bank and headed to the valley of the Kings after a stop for lunch which was good. Visit to 3 of the tombs is included and we bought extraticket to see Tutankhamun tomb.
From here we were taken to one of the authentic place authorised to sell Albaster stone products, we had a short demonstration on how it's made and ended up buying a small statue.
Then we went to the Hatshepsut temple and learnt the interesting history behind it. Final stop was colossi of Memnon and finally car journey back to Hurghada.

This is a review for Khaled, the tour guide/Egyptologist that accompanied us during the one day private tour we booked with Albaraa Travel Group. He was brilliant (18 years of experience!), from the moment we picked him up on entry to Luxor until the end. He was very knowledgeable and explained to us every site we've seen. One thing that I appreciated is that from the first site, i.e. Karnak Temples, he explained to us how the day will go: he will tell us the history of places then we will have time for ourselves in order to enjoy them and take photos, then he will tell us how to distract the hagglers trying to sell us stuff - I think that was brilliant because this way we could listen and enjoy the day to the full.
Truly worthwhile and heartily recommend him :).

The Tour drivers picked us up at our hotel at the exact pre-arranged time. The tour bus was very clean and comfortable. Both were very polite, spoke english quite well and drove very safely. Our Tour guide - Talaat - was very professional and interesting. He had planned our visits based on our needs and interests. He re-arranged the visit in the Valley of the Kings and the Luxor Temple so we would not be "baked" by the intense heat. He picked a wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend.

The driver picked us up at Sentido Palm Royale soma bay on time，no extra fee.
It was 5 am，the road was dark and foggy which was hard to drive though，but the driver was really experienced and skilled.There were also lots of check point on the road with many policeman carried firearms which made us really nervous，but the agent and driver could handle all the things（It need your passport photo copy to prepare）.
It took 3 and a half hours to luxor and then we meet our tourguide.He was very polite and kindness，his explanation help us to understand ancient Egypt easier.All the major site in Luxor can be a tour，because it is a private trip，we did not need to share time and space with others.We paid extra lunch in banana island，it tasted good，the boat trip on Nile river was included，we have also play with some lovely animals in the small zoo of the island.
The whole trip ended on 4：30 pm and the driver took us back.It really worth to recommend！
Tips：When you choose your pick up time，it is better to choose as early as possible，then you can enjoy a clean site in the temple.
If you are student，bring your student ID card，all the entrance fee can be discount.
Although credit card and usd can be use，it's better to prepare some EGP，the ATM in Luxor worked not very well.
Please ignore all the local people（even they wear uniform）in the site who seems want to help you ，take photo with you ，sell.thing to you or.lead you to.some sercet room……all they want is your money and their acts were meanness.The tourguide can be trust，tell him you are not interested in shopping，he will understand.
Some site are optional，if you are not interested，you would better let the tourguide know and go straight to the place you want.

Our group of 7 took the single day trip to Luxor. Our tour guide, Khaled, was incredible. I cannot speak highly enough of this man! He was knowledgable, efficient, super friendly, and accommodating. He genuinely made the effort to get to know our group to make sure we were maximizing our time where people would be most interested. He let us choose between what experiences/shops were more interesting to us, etc. Beyond his knowledge of the amazing architecture and history, he also understood how to keep us safe and made sure we were all aware and comfortable. The place Khaled took us to eat lunch, Africa, with its authentic cuisine and gorgeous view of the Nile was probably one of my favorite meals of the trip. I wish we had splurged and done more than a single day in Luxor with Khaled -- there is simply too much to see and take in! Thank you Khaled for making our experience in Luxor unforgettable!

The Luxor tour we took was absolutely amazing. We had a group of seven and our guide Khaled was so knowledgeable and made sure we got to see as much as we could with our short amount of time. The temples were beautiful, the lunch was delicious and everything we were taught was just great. I would highly recommend this tour and would advise requesting Khaled if possible! We will certainly be back in the future and hope he’s around to guide us through more of the city!
