My friends and I recently traveled to Java for a weekend and this experience was the perfect way to spend our time. Even though our flight was delayed by 3+ hours, the company was great at communicating and ensuring us that everything would still go to plan. We were provided comfortable and spacious transport to/from the airport and the accommodation was great as well for the one night. Our tour guide Rizky helped make a good trip great by taking us to the best spots on each mountain and creating a fun and joyful atmosphere. His english was great which helped when trying to order vegetarian food at places. The tour was very organized. The scenes at Bromo and Lijen were breathtaking to say the least. 10/10 recommend this tour and Rizky for anyone looking to spend a weekend in Java.

Absolutely stunning views and incredible hike. Rizky takes you to the best spots that are away from the crowds and have insane views. He is also a super chill guide and very friendly and puts in extra effort to any request you give. Absolutely slam dunk of a trip is recommend to anyone!!

Super strávený čas, dobrý výběr hotelu i stravování. První východ slunce vyšel na jedničku ale druhý bylo mlhavé, přesto se později vyčasilo. Milý a upovídaný průvodce. 5/5. Dekujem

I recently did the Mount Bromo and Ijen tour, and it was fantastic. Our guide, Rizky, was knowledgeable and went the extra mile, bringing a mat for us to sit on and a tripod for star photography, which was a nice touch. The views were simply stunning, especially the sunrise at Bromo and the blue fire at Ijen.
I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Surabaya—well worth it!

We didn’t have much time, so it was a tour that we had to find and decided on in a hurry. So it was surprisingly expensive, so I doubted until the end lol. I'm sure there were other cheap tours, but my Guide Malaty was a very kind and attentive pretty girl. He didn't mind my poor English. He seemed interested in Japan and learned Japanese. They were friendly with my fellow Guides and kind to other foreign tourists.
The sunrise on Mount Promo was beautiful and the view was amazing. Also, even though I didn't expect a waterfall, the atmosphere was good and the way the local Guide took his photos was amazing. In Ijen, I could not see the Blue Fire. The earthquake two months ago made it impossible to see. Also, the blue lake at the crater was not clearly visible because of the gas. However, the local Guides Assan and Malati had a good time trying to learn Japanese.
It's never a cheap tour. Especially if you travel alone, it will be expensive. I think it was a good tour to think we bought safety and time.
By the way, the cost of the tour was roughly 1.5 times the monthly salary of an Indonesian 😲

We booked the tour in advance. The company replied very quickly to all our questions and booking process via WhatsApp was super easy.
The day before our night pickup we were contacted directly by our amazing tour guide Melati. She was the kindest and best guide we could have asked for! Pickup was exactly on time in front of our hotel in Malang. They even helped with our luggage. Our driver Tobi was the best as well and got us to all our destinations faster than expected, always felt safe in the car. Very comfortable car seats as well which proofed useful after being tired from the first night tour.
Sunrise tour Mount Bromo was an incredible experience. After an adventurous ride in the 4x4 off-road vehicles we arrived at the sunrise view point. Waiting for the sunrise we were well taken care of by Melati with fried bananas and coffee, much needed at 3am. She then made sure we had a prime spot to watch the sunrise over Bromo, even took a piece of cardboard for us to sit on the ground and a blanket. Before sunrise it’s freezing up there, so wear them extra layers. Sunrise itself was breathtaking then. Afterwards we drove back down and took a little hike to get to the crater, again well guided by Melati. After breakfast we happily napped in the car in our drive towards our hotel for the short night before Ijen.
Unfortunately we were not able to see the Blue Fire but they had informed us about this prior booking already. Ijen had just reopened when we did the tour in September and because of a previous earthquake was still under supervision by the government. Safety first, we are happy our guides valued the safety too. Sunrise and landscape around Ijen were breathtaking too and so was the blue lake. Absolutely incredible experience. We got coffee again before starting the hike. At Ijen we had a local guide guiding us up the trail, giving us the head lamps and gas masks. Again felt very safe. Hike is only 3km but about 600m or so in elevation - not too bad but quite steep at times so rest up before going. Absolutely worth the early wake up and effort though!
Our drop off afterwards was at Ketapang
Port where we took the ferry to Bali. On our drive there we asked for a breakfast stop and they took us to a lovely place with great coffee. They also booked our ferry tickets and made sure we made it on board well.

Two fantastic days on/at two fantastic volcanoes. Sunrise at Bromo really too great. Ijen great view of the crater lake. Everything super organized.

100/100！ This Trips was great! Our Guide Hans not only entertains humour but gives us the best arrangement and care throughout! In Bromo to see the amazing sunrise in Ishin to see the beautiful lake view can only be said to be in vain!! Important Three times Recommendation Recommendation (special nickname Hans)!

Yes, I did that way. First I had Bromo and the second day was Ijen and the lake. For the first day, since I arrived later in the evening I didn't have the accommodation because the guys from the agency suggested it's waste of money to pay the hotel and stay only couple of hours, since we're supposed to start the journey to Bromo around midnight. For the second day I had the arranged accommodation with the agency and it was good.

is it possible to end at ketapang to take the ferry to bali instead of going back to surabaya ? also we need to carry our luggage with us but leave it at some place ,we are not going to take it with us on the bromo and ijen hike .

My wife and me is going to Surabaya from 23 Sept to 28th Sept and we are 72 & 70s. Like to join the 2D 1N Mount Bromo Sunrise tour. Can we start on 25 Sept and back to Surabaya?

Yes of course, you start on 25 sept from surabaya to probolinggo, it takes 2 hours. You can go after breakfast then check in hotel at noon (bromo permai hotel because they have jeep rental to mt.bromo and have beautiful location infront of point of view that you can see mt.Bromo very clearly). You can enjoy time around the hotel and ask to rent a jeep to mt.bromo about Rp.500.000 until Rp. 700.000.
Then the jeep will pick you up very early in 26 sept (3am) so you can see the sunrise and hike the Bromo mountain. At noon go back to the hotel and take a rest and eat your lunch until check out.
26 sept afternoon you can go back to surabaya. Enjoy Bromo!
