In ancient Troy it was incredible to see thousands of years of history all in one spot. Gallipoli tour was great and walking through the original Australian and Turkish trenches was incredible. The guide is very good and very knowledgeable about Troy and the Gallipoli battle. I also liked the transfer back to Istanbul.

I had such an eye opening educational experience on the Troy & Gallipoli tour. It ended up being a solo tour because no other visitors were there at the time. I was able to get all of my questions answered by Apo, who is such a knowledgeable and patient Guide. He provided anecdotes about Greek mythology and WWI history to add context to the exhibits. I definitely recommend this combo tour with this particular company and Apo as a Guide for history buffs and folks fascinated by mythology!

Boz (Apo) has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Gallipoli and the WW1 events there. The level of personal detail he introduced at each site heightened our involvement. He gave us a background of Turkey in those days, and its strategic place in the world. This led to the reasons why the campaign was undertaken, and why its repulse was so important to future of Turkey.
We had the good fortune of having just the two of us on the tour, and his full attention. He tailored the tour to our background and interests. He explained the effect of the terrain on both sides, and then the driving tour from the ANZAC landing beaches culminating on the heghts of Chunuk Bair highlighted the difficulties for all combatants.
We had a working knowledge of events before we visited, but the tour integrated what we knew, and made the history of the campaign come alive. The tour gave us a valuable scale and perspective of the batlles at Gallipoli.
We didn't know our driver's name due to language difficulties, but his driving made the long journeys from and to Istanbul very pleasant and comfortable.

Boz was a fascinating, knowledgeable and engaged guide. He went out of his way to meet the wishes of different people and could engage equally with those with a deep knowledge of Gallipoli and the novice. More than one half day tour is essential to understand (from the perspective of both sides) the importance, sacrifice and consequences of these major battles.

Would highly recommend this tour. The tour was very well structured and organised. It suited our needs perfectly and was executed by friendly and knowledgeable guides. The Gallipoli tour was very moving. The onwards transfer to Istanbul was on the same bus as the Gallipoli tour which was great 😀

トルコにとって大切な場所チャナッカレ。トルコに住むなら一度は来たいと思っていました。トロイも近いのでまとめてまわれるツアーはお得です。ガイドさんも分かりやすい英語で話してくださり、当地の歴史もよく分かりました。イスタンブルへ戻るときにも、長距離バスに乗るところまでお世話してくださって安心して戻ってこられました。

The tours were amazing with detailed information and extensive explanations. The team were absolutely incredible and helped with all my needs from lost baggage to cancelled flights. Cannot recommend this company enough!

We were picked up from our hostel in Istanbul and taken to Çanakkale with no fuss. The driver made sure that there was a sufficient amount of breaks while ensuring we arrived on time. Our tour was over two days and the first one was spent at Gallipoli. As New Zealanders, Gallipoli has been a very important part of our history and actually being able to witness it firsthand took our understanding to a whole new level. Our guide for Gallipoli - Abdurrahim (or Apo for short), was incredibly passionate and gave us a view of the battle from a whole new perspective. The camaraderie that emerged between the ANZACS and the Turks during the war impacted us greatly. Apo also brought with us a giant bag of dog biscuits and fed the dogs we came across on the tour which only made the experience better. The second day was spent with Mustafa around Troy. Once more, we could not have asked for a more passionate guide. He had grown up in the area and then studied it later in life. We would have loved to have spent a few more hours just chatting to him about all he knew. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone and would definitely use them again.

Both the Troy and Gallipoli Tours were excellent. By far, the guides were the most well-informed of all the multiple tours I participated in during my week touring Turkey. Troy is interesting but shorter due to the fact that much of the site has yet to be excavated. Gallipoli, as a site, is more interesting due to the numerous memorials and battleground sites.
Abdurrahim Boz, our tour guide, was excellent in conducting the Gallipoli tour. Knowledgeable on both sides of the conflict, and he exuded a love of this part of Turkish history this conflict that launched the rise of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to become the founder of the modern Republic of Turkey. Mr. Boz spared no effort in making sure we were as informed as possible, even displaying interesting pictures of the sites we visited on his tablet during the trip.
I was especially impressed that he knew that the Newfoundland regiment that fought with the ANZAC soldiers were at the time their own dominion and not part of Canada. It is very impressive when a historical guide's knowledge extends so far beyond that of his native country, and makes him especially compelling as a Gallipoli tour guide to foreign visitors. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Gallipoli.

During my short stay in Çanakkale, I took this tour guided by Mustafa and Apo.
Visiting Troy in the morning, Mustafa explained the site in details and shared his work with archaeologists (He writes books too). His jokes were on point and impressed me with his passion towards Troy.
Apo showed us Gallipoli in the afternoon. Knowing nothing about WWI, he professionally introduced the Gallipoli Campaign from cause to evacuation in both Turkish and ANZAC perspectives. I feel like I took a really valuable history lecture with a fun enthusiastic professor! Apo also helped arrange the bus to Istanbul so I could catch my flight.
In short, a highly recommended tour if you wanna know fully about Troy and Gallipoli from knowledgeable guides! :)
