Great day out and close encounter with whalesharks. Be prepared for a hectic tourist adventure and a lot of whalesharks! Our guide JR made things so much more enjoyable.

We had a great time on our trip!
This package included 4 separate destinations and activities, which despite the very clear title, I didn't catch. We started off with Whale Sharks and Sumilon Sandbar before lunch. Our private taxi (which I also didn't know was included) picked us up at 4am from the Mactan Hotel area and we were driven 3 hours to Oslob and taken to a waiting place where we had a small breakfast. They held our place in line until it was our turn to do an orientation, and then we returned to the whale shark area and we swam with whale shark. Bring Phillipine currency to purchase little nick nacks or snacks and to purchase the option of having a diver swim with you and take video ($15US total, not per person). You don't need to bring an SD card.They'll transfer the photos to your phone upon completion of the swim. Totally worth it and you'll have memories for a lifetime. And don't wear sunscreen here. They'll make you wash it off as it is hurtful to the reefs and the whale sharks.
We were then taken back to the waiting hotel area and escorted by boat to a little island with a sandbar. We purchased snacks and took them to the sandbar as we were a little hungry at that point. After an hour at the sandbar, it was time to return to the little hotel waiting area and have lunch. The lunch was very tasty.
After the lunch, we went to Tumalog Falls. This is a beautiful hidden waterfall about 20 minutes from the waiting hotel area. Some of the best photos you'll ever take, and not overrun with too many people.
There was still one last activity to Pescador Island to dive with sardines and sea turtles. One of us didn't know how to swim and one of us grew up on the water so snorkeling was a regular activity. We were so tired, full, and happy after the falls that we asked our guide to skip this last activity that would have us snorkeling. It was another 1.5 hour drive away from the hotel to the last activity followed by a 4 hour drive back to the hotel. We got up at 3am to get ready for Oslob and got back to the hotel about 7pm for dinner, tired and happy and ready for dinner. We would have returned by 9pm if we had did the last activity.
Despite skipping the last activity, we felt that we got more than our moneys worth. If we were going to do something different the next time, we would not book this trip on our last day before we left the island. We would have gone to bed earlier so we can do all 4 activities. If they had a 3 part package for a lesser price, I would have booked that with no hesitation.
So yes, book it! It will be an amazing day to remember. Rest up, bring your money, and have a BLAST!

Everything worked perfectly the driver picked us up early which was a plus and he did an excellent job in getting us to the destinations on the day so big thanks to him. When we got there James fixed everything from working out the times for the different activities to the breakfast and lunch. He also took pics for us and saved video footage to his personal phone for us to download later. Could not have asked for a better guide on the day so a big thank you to him. All the guys on the boats were great to, always keeping everyone safe and helping out with pics and videos. Great experience and well worth the money. Thanks to everyone involved....

So here's how it went: We got picked up at 3:30 in the morning in our hotel in Mactan. Our driver Wilson was nice to us since the very beginning and he gave us good conversations, which we appreciated (he is a reggae artist in the group "Selah dub warriors", go check it!). We slept until we arrived to the place in which we were supposed to swim with the whale sharks at around 6:30. It was early, so our guide Jimbo boy decided it was better to go to the Tumalog falls first after having a light breakfast so that we didn't have to wait there doing nothing until it was our turn. He said it was better to pay for the motorbike to get to the falls because there was a big hill and it was better not to get very tired so soon (he was right). Good point: At first he didn't notice and asked us to pay for the bikes, but then he realized it was actually their business to take care of that and gave the money back to us, which we tipped him at the end of the activity (if he hadn't told us of course we wouldn't have noticed - great move!).
After the falls it was time - We went to the beach and swam with the whale sharks. I'll just sum it up in a few words: unbelievable, unforgettable, one of the best things I've ever done. Don't be afraid if you are not a great swimmer (I'm pretty bad at it and get tired real soon). The activity is pretty safe as you don't get far from the shore and from the boat, and there are people nearby that could take care of you. Also, we got some VERY nice photos and videos as we rented their GoPro (the boatman took them for us!). I was already satisfied with the day, but then we went to a very beautiful island, got a very nice lunch with some amazing views, did snorkel for the very first time (just wow!!), swam with a turtle and an army of sardines, and went to some other islands.
We ended up very, very tired, and we got dropped off at our hotel at around 18:30 after asking Wilson to stop by a supermarket to get some drinks, which he accepted with no further issue! Overall: 10/10. Don't hesitate whether is worth it or not. It was the best choice we made to buy this activity :)

The driver was prompt, the drive was long but scenery was beautiful. Both guides handled everything, guided me through the whole process. Shout out to Lindy and Abam.
Lindy held my wallet and cell phone and coordinated the under water camera rental and the boat guide to video my whole experience, awesome memories thanks to them both!
I didn’t complete my whole tour package, because swimming with the whale sharks was the priority within the package.

This was truly one of the best travel tour experiences we’ve ever had. In Cebu for business, had one day to myself, and decided to do this tour with a colleague. It was 16 hours of some of the most beautiful scenery and friendliest, most accommodating people I’ve ever encountered. The whale sharks will blow your mind. They are huge and gentle and you get to be very close to them. The people working on the boat were very good about taking photos and videos, so that we could remember this great experience. After that, we swam with thousands of sardines, Sea turtles, and explored beautiful coral reefs. Truly, the only constructive feedback I would have for this trip is to charge a little more and ensure a lot of water is available because you will dehydrate during the day and there’s not much water to be had along the tour once you’re out on the islands.

I went on this tour alone on Nov 4, and although going alone on a private tour is a bit pricey, I still think this is a good choice for people who's on a tight trip schedule! We have enough time for every place, saw the whale sharks and sardines, sea turtles, and the beautiful waterfall! (Some people in the comments talked about how they think they have too little time with the whale sharks, I worry about it too at first, but after the tour I honestly think 30mins is quite enough. The whole tour is very well planned, and no time was wasted on waiting. It's packed but not tiring. My driver Arnold made the whole experience so much more comfortable too, he's a very thoughtful driver and made the hours of sitting in the car seem like nothing(plus I get to nap in the car lol), weirdly enough I also really enjoyed the car riding part of the tour thanks to him! My tour guide Abigail is a very sweet hearted girl too, thanks to her the tour went smoothly. During the end of the tour I went on a private boat with two other guides(which I forgot the names but one sounds like JunJun). I didn't ask for pictures but boy did they went above and beyond to shoot nice pictures and beautiful videos for me!

Amazing and unforgettable experience! Our tour guide was saicy and she was a vibe, extremely easy to get along with. Our driver was simer and he was on time and very prompt. Whale shark watching was especially memorable. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic mix of experiences with Tamalog waterfall, Swimming with the whale sharks, the beach stop and moalboal boat trip to 3 different snorkelling sites to see coral underwater cliff, sardine run and turtles. Richard our driver was great - professional, always punctual, friendly, smooth driver and Cheryl our guide at Oslo was also so friendly and smoothly navigated what would otherwise have been confusing busyness at Olsob. Journey home from Moalbob took 4 & half hours on a Saturday so recommend to go Sun- Thurs instead

If there’s one thing you need to do in Cebu, it’s this tour. My partner and I had the most incredible time travelling from Cebu down the coast to swim with whale sharks, turtles and sardines. The scenery was spectacular and the experience felt like one in a lifetime. The waterfalls and island visit were the icing on the cake. Added to this, we were blown away by the attentiveness of our driver Joseph, who was a simply incredible driver and tour guide. We felt very looked after for the whole day! Everyone must do this trip!
