We had a great tour with Yuta, he's a fantastic guide and great to be around to chat to, he was like an old friend by the end of our day with him. I highly recommend Yuta for this and other tours/guided visits due to his fantastic personality, warm and personable and he didn't seem to run off of a script and was willing to deviate from the itinerary if needed (there was no rushing around either). His English is great and he was willing to explain and discuss life in Japan away from the tour subject. I hope that one day we have the pleasure of meeting up with him again.
Final thoughts. Thoroughly recommend Yuta, he is a decent and friendly person and wonderful guide. You won't regret selecting Yuta.

I really appreciate leaving such a wonderful reviews here, and it is such a great honor to get your every single words you wrote here.
We talked about a lot of things and personally it was super fun to exchange the information about our hometown and knowing the different culture and lifestyle. I also wanna say thank you for telling me about what you do in Britain and your life story!

One of the top expirences of my travel career. Great guide, excellent English. Very knowledgeable, helped me aquire supplies for the rest of my journey. Flexible enough to take me to Oktoberfest which was not planned. Exceeded the allotted time. Great guide, great place, wonderful people and VERY clean.

It was our first time to Japan and also Hiroshima. I would strongly recommend going to Hiroshima if you are going to Japan. We had a wonderful day with our guide Yuta. Who was fantastic and very knowledgeable and passionate about his country and Hiroshima. The trip to the Torii gate, shinto shrine on Miyajima made for a great morning. Then we had a traditional lunch of Okonomiyaki at location chosen by Yuta in Hiroshima. The Afternoon was filled with learning about the Atomic bombing of Hiroshima from ground zero to Peace Memorial Park Museum and the Atomic Dome. It was humbling, informative and hard to grasp the devistaion. Thank you for the fantastic tour and new friendship.

It was rainy day and we needed am umbrella, but I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the Hiroshima tour together.
It's very important thing to know about the history and learn from it, and Hiroshima is the place where we can learn a lot of things not only peace and war, but also passion of people and many cultures.

We were extremely fortunate to be guided by Yuta during our stay in Hiroshima. Our tour was a full day and was easy to book. Yuta met us at our hotel, the Sheraton. We then went by local train and then ferry to Miyajima. It was fantastic. After eating okanomiyaki we saw the Hiroshima bomb exhibit which was somber but an excellent experience. The best part of our tour was Yuta. He is young, intelligent and engaging. This was great because he interacted so well with our 12 and 13 year old boys. By the end of the tour they were friends and he was teaching them Japanese! Yuta is also very knowledgeable of all the sites we saw and educated on many Japanese customs at the Miyajima shrine. I highly recommend getting a tour with Yuta!

Lovely day spent in Hiroshima exploring the history. We also went across to Miyajima. Enjoyed some lovely Oysters and got some pictures of the day. Our guide was lovely and insightful and we throughly enjoyed our day with Yuta. I don’t think coming to Hiroshima and not having a tour will most likely miss out on interesting information.

Places like Peace memorial museum gives you deep information in English, but I also think there are so many information that only locals know about what really happened in Hiroshima. I'm very glad that you felt this kind of tour was necessary! It means a lot to us!!

One of the best tour guides I've ever had. I've visited 7 continents so I am a seasoned traveler. Yuta's coordination was terrific. Three of us came down from Kyoto for the day and he met us exactly where he said he would be with his white board. We started our new friendship with introductions and a walk to the ferry to head to Miyajima to see the Itsukushima Shrine, many deer, oysters oysters and more oysters, fun drinks and snacks, a Japanese wedding, and a five storied pagoda and much more. After a great morning of unhurried sightseeing, we headed back to Hiroshima, had a nice Japanese lunch with Yuta and then caught the train to the Peace Memorial Park and gardens. We asked many questions about how the Japanese feel about Americans after the bombing. The day had started out sunny and beautiful, but by the time we were at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, it had begun to rain. It actually seemed fitting for the day. Somber. Yuta showed us where to start in the museum, and where to meet him after an hour. He said that many Japanese had not wanted to give their remaining mementos from the blast to the museum, but when they saw it in the beginning, they were touched and donated many things for displays. It was very moving, and I found the artwork to be the most touching. Yuta and I shared some thoughts on peace and war, and he shared words from a 90 year old friend who said the way to end war is to make friends, just keep making friends. I consider Yuta my friend now. We finished the day seeing the remaining statues, and finally the only remaining building from the bomb blast. Yuta got us back to the Shinkansen train back to Kyoto with plenty of time to grab a snack for the 1 1/2 hour train ride back to Kyoto.

We had an awesome day with Yuta traveling in Hiroshima. We were three people - my husband and me, and our twelve year old son. Everything about the day was easy and exactly customized to what we wanted. We traveled in from Kyoto that morning and headed back to Tokyo that night (!) and Yuta met us at the station without any issues, helped us figure out luggage storage and got us set off again at night. We visited all the sites we wanted to see in and around Hiroshima, got great pictures and learned a lot from our guide. We did everything at a pace and ease that we could never have done if we’d done it by ourselves or done a larger group. We also have dietary restrictions, and Yuta was able to take us to a tiny local restaurant where we would never have otherwise been able to figure out the menu, and ordered for us all. Yuta’s English was fantastic, as was his knowledge of the city, and he was super kind and engaging with our son. All in all, a great day and highly recommended.

We had lots of food like fried oysters, fried chicken, Okonomiyaki... I also like those local foods, so it was really fun to stroll around together:)
I really appreciate about mentioning visiting all the places on your own is little bit difficult for tourists because we have lots of public local transportation and some of them are bit tricky.. This is definitely useful as a reference for lots of travelers!!

We had a great day with Yuta. He was prompt at pickup, he had a warm personality, his communication was great, and he made the whole day really interesting with his knowledge of the history of the sites around Hiroshima and associated stories.
He was very thoughtful to our needs and even brought his own special brewed coffee and snacks to keep us going.
We thouroughly enjoyed our day and would recommend the tour to others.

Yuta was such a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He told us so much about the history and culture of the area in both Hiroshima and at Miyajima island.
For lunch we had one of the local delicacies, okonomiyaki, which was so delicious and so much fun to watch being made!!
I really enjoyed the ferry ride to Miyajima island and watching the big red gate get closer as we arrived! There were soooo many deer on the island too!!
Yuta made sure we made it back to the hotel safely after the tour as well, which was greatly appreciated!!
I would definitely recommend taking a tour in this area with him if you have a chance!!! It's like spending the day with a local friend!!

Okonomiyaki is one of the must-eat local food in Hiroshima, but it is not always easy to find the best place to have it because there are thousands of Okonomiyaki places in Hiroshima...
