Nós fizemos todos os passeios no Egito mas nenhum se compara a essa experiência! Nem o Cruzeiro 5 estrelas pelo Nilo foi tão bom quanto a experiência no Deserto Branco!
A paisagem mais linda que já vimos! Espetacular! Tudo era cartão postal! Um sonho mesmo!
O Mohammed foi ótimo do início ao fim, cuidou de tudo, preparou nossa janta com muito carinho na hora, um jantar típico beduíno.
Ele nos levou nos melhores lugares para tirar foto e ainda nos surpreendeu com fotos maravilhosas! Ele é muito fotógrafo!
Se não tiver muito tempo pule templos mas não deixe de ter essa experiência!
Vá com espírito aventureiro, roupas confortáveis e aproveite para viver tudo o que não se vive na cidade!

A fantastic experience from start to finish. Beginning with a delicious local welcome lunch and then proceeding to an adventure of a lifetime with the lovely soul Mohammed, we loved every minute. A great mix of hiking, sightseeing, and activities. They were excellent to communicate with and flexible to work around our last minute plans.
Plenty of cold water, delicious home made food, comfortable camping setup, and incredible photos taken expertly by our guide. Lots of good information shared but also lots of time to have privacy and bask in the moments ourselves.
They are a lovely smiling family running a beautiful business with pride in their stunning landscapes. Our minds were blown multiple times. Give yourself this treat! You won’t regret it.

This was the best tour we did in Egypt. You definitely should not miss this!
You see a lot of beautiful nature!
Mohammed and his family are extremely pleasant people - very friendly, funny, polite, helpful ...!!!! And also very good photographers !:)
We felt very safe and comfortable at all times.
The food was super delicious !!!

In Egypt we visited the Red Sea, a lot of temples, the pyramids and finally the desert. And this last event was really a highlight! Mohammed is a great host (and cook) and we had a lot of fun in the black and white desert. Our kids (10 and 13) loved this trip which was a mixture of fantastic landscape a little bit adventure and last but not least the experience of absolute silence and a beautiful night sky.
So highly recommended from our side!

I don't even know where to start - this was easily the best thing I've ever experienced!
Mohammed kindly arranged for us to be picked up in Giza - our ride was on time, comfortable and with a very accommodating driver.
Upon arrival at the oasis we had the most delicious, freshly made lunch, met some of his lovely family and relaxed in the shade.
After that we headed out to see some of the many highlights of the desert. The jeep has loads of room so we were both able to bring our big suitcases, which made things a lot easier since we didn't have to pack another bag for camping.
Mohammed is the sweetest soul, very knowledgable and patient - he always encouraged us to take our time at every stop and soak in the atmosphere as much as we can.
People in previous reviews also didn't exaggerate his photography skills. He has an amazing eye for angles and poses, which means you'll end up with much more than just some pics of you in a desert. He makes sure to capture everything perfectly and has lots of fun with it as well. We had some good laughs trying to get the perfect pic!
Another highlight was getting to go up on the roof of the car and sandboarding down the dunes - made it feel like even more of an adventure than it already was.
After watching the sunset we then headed to the camp where we enjoyed the most delicious dinner. Mohammed's cooking skills easily match his photography skills - absolutely brilliant.
Afterwards we sat around the fire, had a wonderful chat about Egypt and our respective cultures, enjoyed a shisha and the best tea I've ever tasted and watched out for shooting stars (saw 2!!).
The night's sleep was comfortable and thanks to our trusted guide's perfect preparation we had some thick blankets to keep us warm. I didn't expect to sleep that well but it felt very safe and cosy.
The next morning after sunrise, we once again got to enjoy some amazing food before we set off to find some more rock formations and with it - of course - some great photo opportunities.
After one last stop to take a dip in a cold spring, we were safely driven back to the oasis where, after a quick break with fresh mango juice, our driver picked us up to kindly take us straight to Cairo airport.
I wish I could describe what this trip felt like but it's just one of these things you have to experience to believe it. It also doesn't feel like a tourist experience like with some of the big tour companies - it feels like you're on a wild, unique adventure unlike anything you've ever done. (Sidenote for all the female travellers hesistant to book such a trip: We are two girls and felt extremely safe in the capable hands of Mohammed, I'd have no issues going as a solo traveller.)
We loved every second of it and would do it again (next time for more than just one night) in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Mohammed for being so kind and welcoming, we appreciate you my friend!!

A brilliant trip not to be missed - Mohammed was an excellent guide and very welcoming. He and his family set up camp for us and cooked a delicious meal on the fire, they took us round loads of different sites and always took amazing photos of us, suggesting poses. They were very honest with all parts of the trip and we would recommend to anyone looking to experience the desert and a night camping under the stars!

This family run business offers a great experience! Kids, teens and younger people would especially enjoy the sense of adventure, although I am 70+ years of age and I had a great time. Mohammed and his brother are very conscientious about ensuring that their guests are comfortable and enjoy themselves. The landscapes you see are unique and interesting, as are your experiences on this overnight trip. I heartily recommend this adventure! The family may also provide overnight accommodations at Bahariya Oasis, if you wish to extend your experience outside the urban areas of Egypt. (Note: the reviews are all great from guests from around the world, which should tell you a lot.)

My wife and I just finished the Overnight Tour of the White Desert with Mohammad.
Summary: Incredible trip (10/10) that is completely worth doing if you are in Egypt. If you are in the fence about doing this, rest assured that it is a good choice. It's is a unique experience with great people that takes you to a part of Egypt that realistically deserves almost as much attention as Egyptian History. One night is good, but we would do at least two nights if we were to do it again!
Mohammed was kind enough to find us a driver to take us from Giza to the Bahariya Oasis, and he also found us extra passengers which saves us half of the trip costs.
All of the stops in the itinerary were great. The Black Desert was very cool with some amazing colour contrasts of black on yellow, and the short but steep walk up the hill was a good way to exercise the legs after the long drive.
Crystal Mountain was really interesting. There are crystals EVERYWHERE and you get to spend some time trying to find the nicest one. For us it was probably the least enjoyable part of the tour, but it is a must-see destination in this area and was very enjoyable (the worst of the best).
Next up was the Agabat Valley (the Valley of Obstacles). This area was absolutely incredible. Straight out of a movie and easily the most inspiring place during the entire tour for us.
After this we went sand boarding on a dune. This isn't why you would go on this tour, so nothing crazy, but fun for some of the other people on the tour.
We wrapped up the day by travelling into the White Desert to watch the sunset and enjoy a delicious charcoal barbequed chicken dinner. Also very vegetarian friendly.
The stargazing was great in the evening, especially once the moon had set behind the hills. Tons of shooting stars!
We woke up early to watch the sunrise and then spent the morning touring the White Desert. The desert is filled with rocky pinnacles and spires that are amazing. Lots of stops throughout this part of the tour to walk around and take photos.
We wrapped up the tour at a local hot spring in Bahariya, which was very hot but also really refreshing.
Don't let the look of the pool disappoint you, it is truly a volcanic hot spring and your skin feels fantastic afterwards. Just dipped ours legs and arms in because it was a hot day and also hot pool, but it was a perfect way to wash the sand off.
All in all, 10/10 experience and we will absolutely go back if/when we are back in Egypt.

An amazing experience everyone should get the opportunity to enjoy.
The views are amazing like I’ve never seen before. Crews are so nice, especially Mohamed is so kind, fun and helpful.

Hi Rachel, super exciting! It's a really wonderful tour! I would message Mohammed about that. We were picked up at 7am in Giza and it took 4 hours to arrive at the tour starting location. He's pretty flexible and a great guide, so I'm sure y'all would be able to arrange something. Hope that helps!

I'm considering having the trip on 29 Dec. The set off time is said to be at 7:00am. So I need to arrive at the Desert Safari Home Hotel on 28 Dec and stay one night there, may I confirm this is the way to do?
Also if I drive from Cairo, can I park the car at the Desert Safari Home hotel while we are out in the desert?

There is no need to leave the night before (28th) and stay at the Desert Safari Home. You can leave the 29th at 7:00 a.m. from Cairo
