Our experience with Classic Tours India was wonderful.
We had a great time seeing the Taj Mahal and enjoyed the second-monument Agra Fort as well. The car was very clean, and Ravi, the guide, was excellent.
I advise anyone who wants to take the private Taj Mahal same-day tour from Delhi to do so.

Classic Tours India (the tour company) was great. They were well organised from the start. I received WhatsApp messages before the tour informing me the tour guide and driver's name (the guide was Farmann and driver was Gurmeet) and contact details. They were on time, friendly and spoke English well. The car was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. We were provided bottled water during the day which was great because of the hot weather. Farmaan was very knowledgeable and patient as I took many photos of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. He is also an excellent photographer! Lunch was a buffet at a 5 star hotel. Food was good and also included local dishes to try. Overall, the tour was a great experience. I would recommend Classic Tours India!

Rahul is really well organised. I received a prompt response at a reasonable price. Ravi, our tour guide, took us on a tour of the Taj Mahal. He was fantastic! He was also really well-informed and entertaining to listen to. We were blown away by the trip and were really delighted with it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. This tour comes highly recommended from me.

What an amazing g tour of a lifetime. Booking was easy and very prompt return and communication. We used WhatsApp. I felt well taken care of as a solo traveler throughout the tour. This tour is highly recommended!!
BK, my driver, picked me up at hotel in Dehli promptly at 6am in a very mice and clean vehicle. He offered to stop along the 3 hour journey for washroom and refreshment breaks. The rest stop we went to was well maintained and bathrooms were good. It had a coffee/tea shop and also food. Highlight of the drive in was seeing monkeys as they crossed the road and also the beautiful agricultural fields. BK was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure I had all I needed and was comfortable on the ride. He also organized that I would have an umbrella in case of rain on the tour.
Once arriving in Agra, I met my guide Farmaan. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He had grown up in this area as well so I felt happy to have a local person guiding the tour. We all drove close in to the Taj Mahal and then BK dropped us for a short walk to the electric car that takes us close in to the entrance.
Because this tour books everything ahead of time, there was little wait and Farmaan took care of everything with the tickets and helped to guide me at security screening. I did not have to worry about anything to whole tour.
Once inside, we saw the beautiful park and entry gate to the Taj Mahal. The tour was breathtaking and pictures cannot describe. We stopped for pictures at the gate while entering and seeing the beautiful Taj Mahal. Farmaan helped me to take photos at the best places and he was excellent with the camera!!! We walked along the fountains and he suggested great photo locations and shared all about the grounds and the building of the Taj Mahal.
Once arriving to the steps of the Taj Mahal, he organized shoe covers for us and had the ticket ready for entrance. He pointed out many architectural details on the outside of the building as we walked in. It was breathtaking.
I cannot say enough how impressed I was with this tour and the the knowledge of my guide. Even upon leaving the park we walked through the little rooms that make up the structure attached to the welcome gate so I could really experience the whole park.
Next off we met driver BK promptly and went to the Agra Fort. We got dropped off right at the entrance and again no line to wait as everything was pre organized.
We entered the fort and Farmaan did a top notch job to describe about the fort, it’s history and architecture. Pointing out things from the brick that was used, why certain thing like the sloping entryway and walls were built that was, to highlighting the small windows that were used at the entry door to throw rose petals down for when women would enter.
Once arriving through the gate we went through the grounds and each part of the structures and Farmaan did excellent helping me to understand about the building of the structure, how it was used, history and culture of that era. Highlights of the tour were seeing the actual bathtub (more like a plunge pool), the amazing detail to the fort - no designs are repeated for the gates and wall decor (was fascinating to me the vision the architect had), and seeing the Shah’s bedroom design including the windows that were build to help beep the room cool.
They grounds were made up of a very intricate and manicured design, made me think of the parks like Versailles or Catherine’s Palace. And my guide did an amazing job to answer all my questions.
At the end of the tour we went to a carpet demonstration. I had been to one before and thought I knew what to expect. The owner was so kind and his team really made me feel welcome with no pressure. In watched the whole process and even participated. I learned that they are now producing the carpets through local co-ops. In the end I got a fantastic offer on a beautiful rug that will be the souvenir of a lifetime. I felt no pressure to buy it, and just enjoyed the experience of learning, immersing in the culture and the fun of negotiating.
Finally the day ended with a lunch at very nice hotel. We stopped at a Marriott. The dining room and buffet were excellent. Farmaan walked me through to make sure I knew what the dishes were as well. After lunch we chatted a bit about the day and I could ask him any questions about the trip or India in general. He was always kind and knowledgeable and we both shared how we love to travel.
The BK picked us up and we said good bye to Farmaan, who invited me back to visit India again.
The return was 3 hours to Delhi and I had a very comfortable ride with a washroom stop along the way. I arrived back to my hotel after a 12 hour amazing tour. Thank you so much!!!!

I recently used this service for my aunt who was travelling alone. It was wonderful. Everyone was really professional and assisted at every step of the process and made her feel at ease. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for some assistance while travelling alone.

A wonderful journey and a lovely experience. Our tour guide Ravi, he was really courteous and educated, and he made us comfortable and gave a great insight to the Taj Mahal & Agra Fort's history. Had a fantastic time and will remember the memories. Highly recommended tour.

I am so thankful to trip advisor for this amazing and beautiful trip. My experience was actually the best among all in my entire life. What I truly love the most is friendly nature of tour guide. I felt like I was with my family or close friend. I must say there services are the excellent one. One who has booked their trip from trip advisor, I can bet nobody regret. It’s actually the one of the best company we can trust. Those who are planning to go for a tour or trip, they should try it for once. I would highly recommended for everyone who loves travelling and even they wanna go for their holiday they should get their services from trip advisor . Again thanks a lot for such an awesome trip♥️

We had a great tour of Taj Mahal and Agra fort after Lockdown. We were picked up by a driver Mr. Gurmeet from our hotel at 7:00 AM and he was on time and he wear mask and hand gloves. He has great and very knowledgeable, and communication skill as well. and drive very smooth and carefully. we reached Agra around 10:15 and meet our tour guide Mr. Ravi near the Taj Mahal. He also followed Government Guidelines like Social distancing and wear Mask. He was very nice guy and knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful, kind and explained the story of the Taj Mahal in a really fascinating and exciting way !

We were picked up on time in Delhi, in a very comfortable car, with Wi Fi and A / C In Agra,
Farman was waiting for us, who made a tour of the Taj Mahal and Fort Agra, explaining everything to our surprise in a good Spanish (we were Peruvians and Colombians)
We enjoy so much the lunch, in a nice Restaurant
We really liked the security we felt on the tour
We recommend it a thousand times.

A fantastic experience, only ruined by amount of so called guides & so called official photographers. We arrived just on sunrise. Everything was worth seeing the Taj Mahal, an experience you will never forget. Be prepared to haggle for souvenirs in the local shops & for a souvenir booklet. Highly recommended!
