The booking of the trip went smoothly, we got our confirmation and contact details in a couple of minutes. On the day of the tour, January 4th our lovely guide waited for us at the hotel and the driver came punctually to pick us up. We visited all of the places as in description and we had enough time to enjoy everything. We got to know a lot about the history, culture and spirituality of Kolkata. The guide and driver were so polite and they were taking good care of us. We absolutely had an amazing day with them and therefore we would recommend this day trip always. Our kind regards to them (trip on January 4th from Elgin Fairlawn hotel).

We had limited time in Kolkata and this tour was perfect to see the highlights. Communication and hotel pick ups and drop off were excellent and we saw Temples, Queen Victoria Memorial, book shop street, flower market, mother Teresa’s house, 160 year old coffee shop where their most famous poet wrote and the pottery district. Our guide Champa was fantastic and our driver was also fantastic. Champa went above and beyond to tailor our day so it really suited us and her knowledge was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend.

The review abou this travel agency was beyond words
I and my family was planned this tour through some agency in our Mumbai
The time before we landed, we provided with Driver and Vehicle details.
Now writing as Driver i feel degrading such good personality Mr Shankar Mondal.
Reported vehicle at Kolkata Airport was new, good cleaned.
Mr Shankar was not only driven the vehicle but the thing not in itinerary taken us.
He shown us the Kolkata city each and every important valuable places.
His command on Kolkata city knowledge and about Indian history, happenings around work excellent
You ask him whatever you like, like to see, like to eat,he is ready with solutions
All three days he was doing his duty honestly with full heart for his company.
We again thanks to this tour agency, their staff and more to Mr Shankar

It was good to get to see some of the sites of Kolkata, but the day felt a little haphazard and not really organised properly - not helped by our guide being sent to the wrong hotel, but the inside information and stops off the beaten path we had experienced on other tours on our trip were lacking, and this was by far the most expensive.
Our guide was flexible and changed a couple of things to suit throughout the day, and the bus used was brand new and very spacious, but I think there will be other tours that will give you better insight into this wonderful city.

This looks an excellent tour on paper and good value as kids are free.
However the description does not match the product provided. There was no contact from the company directly in acknowledgement of the tour booking.
The guide and driver were knowledgeable and happy to help us.
Examples where there tour fell short was the
1) offer of water compared to other tours we had been on
2) we missed on college street and coffee house due to some "disturbance" but a suggestion on an alternative location should have been offered
3) The ticket for Victoria Memorial was only a garden tour and not the full monument
4) KC Das is not the venue for the sweet tasting
5) The tram ride was not included as advertised
6) The tour was six hours instead of advertised eight to nine
The tour offers some alternative locations for visiting compared to other tours e.g. Flower Market and Jain temple which are great places, to visit but don't need a guide to visit them as such.
Overall I would not recommend this tour as it does not match what is advertised on the website.

An excellent tour to familiarise yourself with Kolkata. Driver and guide were great. Lovely to see the temples, the craziness of the flower market, the skills of the statue makers in the potters quarter. Nice coffee at the coffee house, and the yummy sweets. Guide was flexible in what we wanted to see. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic insight into Kolkata. Our guide Mahua was excellent and very informative, the driver also did a fantastic job navigating the busy city streets. The flower market, pottery area, Mother House, St.Pauls Cathedral, College Street & Victoria Memorial were all worth visiting. Would highly recommend.

This is a great introduction to Kolkata abd makes it so much easier to get around. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. The markets, the Quuen Victoria Park, the Jain temple and the sweer shop were reak highlights. I learnt so much from her. Having been on other tours there were a few things that could make this an excellent experience. The first is to either provide bottled water to customers or help them to buy it during the tour. There were bottles in the car but they were half full so I was not prepared to drink it. The AC in the car we were in was not working properly so the trip was a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I would recommend this tour just make sure you take enough water and something to eat

Superb "buildings" from the "English occupation" and in excellent condition/superb temples/and above all unforgettable scenes of life which move us and which we never forget/The kindness of the people and their nobility despite often in misery/ Do not hesitate to walk in the streets in contact with people, to talk to them
