Great last minute tour arranged by Sunny Tours with tour guide Annie during my last day in Shanghai. Annie picked me up at hotel, Annie was great english speaking guide to take me around Shanghai, very informative city tour. I recommend Annie and Sunny Tours if in Shanghai

We spent the day with Sammi, and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. She showed up right on time, super friendly, and her English was perfect, so communication was completely effortless.
The car? A super comfy, modern 7-seater—clean, spacious, and perfect for the 2 of us. We had the option to pick where we wanted to go, but we decided to just roll with Sammi’s suggestions, and wow, she nailed it! She took us to the coolest places, each one better than the last.
Sammi knows so much about the city’s history, and the stories she told were honestly fascinating. She’s such a great storyteller, and we could’ve listened to her all day. She also made sure the whole day was exactly what we wanted. For lunch, she picked the perfect spot—exactly the vibe we were looking for. Great food, great atmosphere, and just a super fun time hanging out with her.
Honestly, this was the best tour I’ve ever done. If you’re looking for a guide who’s fun, knowledgeable, and just really easy to be around, Sammi is your girl. Don’t even think twice—book her and thank me later!

We had an amazing day tour with Kalvin. There were 4 of us & we got a 7 seater van. Kalvin was very knowledgeable about Shanghai history, patient (restroom breaks, etc), and spoke English very well. learned a lot about the places we visited. For lunch, he checked for any dietary restrictions, which was none. We wanted to try local cuisine, he took us to a nice restaurant and ordered different local authentic food and we love every single item. We will definitely go with Kalvin again when we return to Shanghai.

We had a fantastic day exploring Shanghai with Mason as our guide. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making every stop enjoyable and informative.
We visited the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden, and a Taoism Temple, where Mason explained their history and cultural significance. He also introduced us to delicious local food spots, which were a highlight of the tour. At Shanghai Tower, Mason shared fascinating details about the building, and the views were unforgettable. We ended the day at Tianzifang, where he brought the area’s arts and culture to life.
Mason’s warmth and expertise made this an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!

Our private tour of Shanghai with Feifei was an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend. We started our day early at the Jade Buddha Temple, where Feifei shared insightful historical and cultural anecdotes that set the tone for the rest of the tour.
Next, we visited the Yuyuan Garden, a beautiful oasis in the city, before heading to the iconic Bund. Walking along Nanjing Road, we enjoyed a mix of old haunts and new spots on the newly pedestrianized stretch, fully immersed in the vibrant atmosphere. We opted to skip lunch as we were captivated by Feifei's engaging stories and the sights around us.
Later, we explored the French Concession, stopping at Xintiandi for a quick Negroni while people-watching. Feifei kindly picked up the tab, which was a thoughtful gesture since she had planned to treat us to lunch. The blend of history and modernity in this area was remarkable, and we even had a chance to witness the traditional art of silk harvesting.
We concluded our day back at the waterfront, filled with fond memories of Shanghai and grateful for our new found friend Feifei. Her passion for her city made our tour truly special. If you're considering a tour in Shanghai, Feifei is an exceptional guide who will enhance your experience tremendously! We will certainly be reaching out to her if we are ever back.

We (couple) booked this during our very limited time in Shanghai, so despite the poor weather anticipated (typhoon/ storm level rain) proceeded with the day tour to see the highlights.
We appreciated the service of our guide, Roy, and our driver even more given the less than ideal sightseeing conditions. The driver was extremely accommodating to ensure our comfort as much as possible.
We were not able to go to Shanghai Tower due to the weather, but we went to all of the other planned stops and Roy honored some of the customizations to the itinerary we had requested in advance in addition to adding a stop to make up for the tower closure.
The weather really was horrible, but Roy braved it with us and was very knowledgeable in answering our questions and understanding our interests.
My one recommendation for the tour company is to make clear that the ticket/entrance fees for the guides themselves are also not included if you choose the option to buy your own tickets. We were caught off guard when we were buying tickets to Yu Yuan Garden and Roy let us know we also needed to purchase his. I’ve not encountered this before.

Hallo, in a private tour you can decide when and where you want the pick up . In a group tour you need to conform with the tour guide . You can also look for tours trom your hotel. Sometimes the meeting point is in the hotel and sometimes not far from your hotel. Also check on the internet for tours from Baoshan cruise terminal .

There is a lot of walking involved Im afraid but you would have to choose or specify that you want to have the option of a driver based tour. They should be able to cater for all types of requirements but there will probably be a premium to pay for this. Hope that is helpful.

I am sure that Sunny Tours can arrange a meet up. We were staying at a Disney hotel and not at one of the downtown hotels listed, so I elected to pay the extra for a pick up from our hotel and it worked out really well.

We had them pick us up at our motel so can't help you with this. She was very willing to drop us off in the square where we wanted to be that evening.
