Turen begynner med morgenhenting fra Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo eller Playa Hermosa-hotellet. Sett ut ombord på en luftkondisjonert minibuss på den naturskjønne kjøreturen til Hacienda Guachipelin, og nyter utsikten over nasjonalparken Rincón de la Vieja. All in 1 day...
Unimaginable, incredible fun all in 1 day from 9-5 we went... ziplining, rappelling down a crevasse and rock climbing back the other side, did a Tarzan rope swing, horseback riding through a national park, tubbing down a level 1 river bouncing off the sides like a pinball machine, had a buffet brunch then went to a natural hot springs and did a mud bath too!

How to spend an unforgetable day in Costa Rica

My husband and I spent an incredible day touring with Native's Way! Our driver, Juan Carlo was friendly and well informed. The tubing was exciting and fun (wear water shoes!) and the zip lining was incredible! The staff on these activities were friendly, focused and very helpful. We felt safe during these exhilarating activities. We loved the photographs they took and purchased them without a second thought. The thermal baths and volcanic mud was a relaxing end to an amazing day. Premium towels were provided for both water activities. Lunch consisted of a buffet. Our only disappointment was the cost of some of the optional refreshments at some of the venues. We recommend Native's Way wholeheartedly!

Great time just know what to expect.
It was fun and the staff were mostly great. We didn’t see any wildlife if you are hoping to see that you may want to look elsewhere. They other thing is they rush you through it as fast as you can move. Felt like we were in a race through the zip-line portion. Lunch was better than expected and our guide (Josh) with Native was fantastic and made the experience even better.

Some reviews that note some of the experiences are created vs. truly natural (hot springs, mud bath, tubing) are true, but it was still fun and we all had a great time.

Our trip was perfect from the start, very good communication with tour reps, picked up exactly on time, our tour guide was so good and shared a great deal about the tour, what was next, good info on his country. The driver was also very good, felt very safe at all times. The zip line and tubing were great, very safe and you always knew you were in good hands with the staff. Horseback riding was fine but I would trade that for a swim at one of the falls on site. Overall great experience, loved it.

Great Full Day Adventure

This adventure package was a fun full day adventure for our family of 4 (Mom, Dad, + 15 and 17 year old daughters. We love to be adventurouis during our vacations and this activity fit very well. Ziplining, River Tubing, Horse Riding, lunch, and Mud Baths/Hot Springs all within about 6-7 hours. The day is fun and efficient. Our tour guide Kevin was informative and kept the group together and moving and Diego did the driving. You do the activities with the group that you rode the bus with. Our group was about 20-25 people. Even though the group was large, the activities were done quickly. You never seemed to be sitting around waiting which was ideal. The activities are done in different order depending on your group. We started with Ziplining and we were equipped given a safety debriefing very efficiently. Then we were on our way through several different ziplines. The ziplines were a little shorter than some we have done before but still long enough to be quite fun and the guides let you go upside down if you wanted. Although they were shorter, the best part was that they zig-zagged through an amazing canyon with incredible waterfalls and views. The river below was a highlight and made the experience that much more special. You had the chance to do a rapell and climb back up in the middle of the ziplining. This was a little more tame than I had hoped. It was a contolled lowering on a rope to another deck below and then you needed to climb up a rock wall. Overall, the amount of work needed to put in was not necessarily worth the excitement of the lowering down. Still, it was a neat change-up to the ziplines. They also had a tarzan swing that was small but went right over the gorge below so it added some excitement to the experience. Everyone must do the tarzan swing in order to go through the course. It was tame and doable for everyone in our group even though my wife hates heights. Next, we did a 30-45 minute horse ride through the lands of Rincon De La Vieja. The horses were in great shape and well behaved. Still, it was a slow jaunt on a nice path but rather bland. There were limited sights to see and the forest provided no view. In the end, it was a peaceful ride and something most don't do every day. Next we were driven to the top of the river where we were outfitted with safety gear and tubes to begin our trip down the river. We went through about 20-25 rapids while sitting in a tube. This was an experience filled with excitement and adrenaline as you were moving through rapids and small openings between large boulders as you meandered your way downstream. It was something our family had never done and we enjoyed something new and exciting. Around every turn, you needed to be on the lookout for how you were approaching each rapid to try to manuever yourself to avoid the rocks. Ultimately, it was impossible to miss every rock and several times we bottomed out and hit our backside on the rocks inside the rapids. While a little uncomfortable at times, the overall experience was a blast. If you are looking for a river float, this is not the activity for you. Next, we went to lunch and had a great costa-rican lunch buffet style. It was delicious and quick to get through. Finally, we got on the bus and went on a short bus ride to the Rio Negra Hot Springs. Here there were 14 different pools. First, you jumped in pool 1 to prepare your body for the mud. Next, you got out and could spread special volanic mud all over your body if you wanted. Once it dried, you showered off or washed off in the cool river which was exhilerating. Once the mud experience was completed, you had the opportunity to engage in any of the remaining pools ranging from temperatures of 98-104 degrees. The beauty of this place was incredible with the river running through it and the sounds of nature. Once done here, we were rushed back to the bus and back on our way to the hotels. The only issues we had with the experience was the feeling of being rushed the entire day. I certainly understand that there is alot to get through plus the 2 hour drive there and back so when doing this as an excursion it provides little opportunity for slowing down. Ultimately, having done the full day package, I would decide to stay at Hacienda Guachepelin for a night or 2 to take in the adventure and slow down. The area was beautiful and there were a few hikes that you could do during a stay there as well. If I did not stay at the hotel, I would consider driving on my own so you could stay later at the hot springs. This was the area that seemed rushed the most and we were not able to take in the full beauty. In addition, it looked to have lights so you could hang out at this space at night as well. All in all, an amazing day, but if you have the opportunity find a way to spend a full day or 2 in this area to slow down and enjoy it for all it is worth. You will not regret it - places for adventure and places for sightseeing and places for relaxing.

Favorite the Ziplines
River Tubing was just not for me. I could have done without the horseback riding. The Guide was great and over all super fun experience.

First time experience

We had a wonderful time with Kevyn and the team at Adventure Park. Everyone was kind, friendly, fun and helpful. Kevyn did a great job communicating with us the plan of the day and made sure everyone was well hydrated and having a great time. I recommended this tour to several people at my hotel and will continue to recommend this tour to people back in the States! Will definitely be back again

Great Adventure with Many Activities, 10/10

Tubing was the best part of the experience. Was not scary at all and possible for all age groups. Ziplining was exhilarating and very safe. Horseback ride was very relaxing besides one of the children of another family being upset during the ride. Mud bath and hot springs was a great way to relax our muscles after a long day of adventures.

too many people doing the same activity at the same time. A LOT of standing around waiting. They tell you to get there at 9am and you don't start the activity until 11am!

Horseback riding = 0/10 served no purpose - felt as though we and the horses were a sort of hamster wheel.
Zipline = 9/10
Tubing = OK but we went when there was little water so a lot of deadspots. = paddling.
Left before lunch because was not interested in mud baths.

The staff is very nice, but overall the experience felt overcrowded, super rushed, a "tourist trap" with mass market feel. It feels like the company is making a big profit and the workers are just living off of tips.

I did a zip line a few days before - it was just my family and me and it was a much much better experience. I would avoid this.

We were only in CR for 7 days and giving one-seventh of our vacation to this day felt like a waste of precious time.

Great to get a multi-faceted experience in one day. Beautiful area.Very friendly driver, guide, and employees who assist in the adventure. The tubing and hot springs was the best part for me.
They do not tell you that you will be hiking all over creation in between the activities! Or that, even though it was a 12 hour day from pick up to drop off, you are constantly rushed to the next activity and to "transfer" people from one van to another. Also, they change the rules often and even though they ask your weight, they do not take it ( or riding experience) into account when putting people on those poor horses!
I think it is great excursion but, if you are not super fit, you may want to split it into 2 days.
