Our Clients weren't given the fully paid tour (no coffee tour included as advertised and prepaid for) just a quick stop at the gift shop. No one answers the phone or even bothers to find a solution or to apologize. How disappointing giving such a service just starting again with tourism. As an agency I won't book them again. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Hello Beate, I am sorry to hear that you had this disagreement with your clients, however our contracted service and according to our emails the tour was with a visit to the Alsacia farm, our guide gives an explanation of the farm and the coffee process on our part Also, if the client likes to buy a coffee or souvenir, he can do it with as long as he likes. We have several modalities for the Poás Volcano tour, the one that we offer to its clients was collected from San José, Poás Volcano with La Paz Waterfalls and Gardens to the park entering to see all the falls and the animals with all the tickets included together with lunch also included and a visit to the Hacienda Alsacia with a very reasonable and fair price. Our means of communication was always through mail and we always maintained communication by that means the phone you used is only for whatsapp

This day trip was perfect. Everything we hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to get to the Poas volcano around 10 AM with the sun still shining so perfect viewing. Nice little 800 Meter walk from the entrance gate to the volcano. Then La Paz waterfall was spectacular, again lucky no rain yet around 12 noon. Starbucks Coffee Farm fascinating. Rain started then so we decided to forgo the actual tour and just enjoyed coffee in their impressive coffee and souvenir shop, and took pictures from the entrance platform of their beautiful coffee fields in steep mountain valleys with a waterfall and all. All this to say nothing of the beauty of the drive up to 8,500 ft with wonderful views of San Jose in the valley, the rain forest all around. Much of the scenery reminded us of Switzerland and New Zealand. Plenty of locations where Hobiton would fit in perfectly :-)

My boyfriend and I loved our day trip. We were only in Costa Rica for a few days, and wanted to see the natural beauty outside of San Jose, and this was perfect. We were picked up early and the only people on excursion. COVID protocols were followed (masks, hand sanitizer, etc.) with the exception of eating lunch, in which we had our masks off to eat. On the way to the volcano, we made a few stops (photos, bathroom, fresh strawberries, etc.). Our tour guide, Arturo, asked us where we wanted to stop and let us customize our experience. The volcano itself was breathtaking. There was a short, flat hike to get there, and you can only stay 20 minutes due to it being an active volcano. From there, we went to the waterfall and even got to walk behind the waterfall which Arturo took photos of us. We thought we were going to go into the animal sanctuary and waterfall gardens due it being listed as an included ticket, but we only saw the lower waterfall from the highway. From there, we stopped and had a wonderful filling lunch - choice of pork, chicken, steak, and fish with many sides and fruit juices. At lunch, we asked Arturo lots of questions about Costa Rica and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire trip. We then went to the Starbucks Research and Development farm. The views were spectacular and the tour guide was very knowledgeable as well. You are able to buy gifts/souvenirs here as well as the small shop (almost like a gas station) on the way to the volcano - we recommend the strawberries with sweetened condensed milk and chocolate! Overall, we were very happy with the tour and very glad we took the chance to get outside of the city. Arturo was phenomenal - high energy, willing to answer all of our questions in fluent English, and truly loves his job. He was a highlight of our trip!

The Poas Volcano was amazing, given it was clouded over when we arrived, we thought it was a bust, however we were treated with a spectacular view, the issue came with La Paz Waterfall and garden, we never got to tour the garden with wildlife, the reason we booked the tour, because Costa Rica Itinerary tour provider missed that piece of the Viator tour, ensure you get what you paid for. We were only offered a 10% refund for missing out on this opportunity. The Starbuck's farm tour was very interesting. The tour also lacked the water that was supposed to be provided and our driver didn't know where he was going because he lacked the training he should have been provided prior to his first day. Some positives however, not what we paid for. Wouldn't recommend a tour provided by Costa Rica Itinerary

Our trip to Poas, La Paz, and Hacienda Alsacia was absolutely amazing. We started the trip with a drive (about 1 hour) to Poas Volcano National Park. We lucked out and got to see the volcano crater without any cloud cover. From there we drove to La Paz and stopped along the way at a tiny, local restaurant for a tasty lunch. La Paz was absolutely the highlight of the day. You have to see it to truly appreciate how vast and beautiful it is. Finishing the day at Hacienda Alsacia was great because the views from the coffee farm were absolutely spectacular. A day well spent driving around seeing some of the sights around San Jose.

Got lucky with a sunny day, so volcano was beautiful. Arturo was a great guide. La Paz was so much more than the beautiful waterfalls, with many intimate experiences with local animals, hummingbirds, butterflies, sloths, birds, cats, etc.. 3 hours plus at la Paz. Great day!

Le volcan est en activité donc on voit absolument rien.... nuage blanc tout autour de nous . Même le pavillon touristique au sommet avec boutique souvenirs et casse croûte était fermé même l’auditorium dans laquelle normalement on peut visionner le volcan était fermé . Une inscription disant qu’on peut rester que 20 min.
Si on voit rien cela aurait été intéressant de visionner un vidéo et d’entrer au pavillon pour au moins acheter un souvenir!
Aucun remboursement possible tant qu’à moi j’appelle ça une arnaque .... plein de visite et activité sont cancellé pour condition météo mais jamais le volcan! Vraiment décevant pour avoir payé 145$ U.S .
Une chance que la visite de la plantation de café était intéressante et la Rain Forest et water falls très intéressante mais on se sentait continuellement poussé par le guide pour avancer!!!! Le parc La Paz nécessiterais vraiment 1 heure de plus pour tout voir .... et le retour vraiment long dans le traffic a l’heure de pointe!!!! Je suggère de passer 1 heure de plus à La Paz et rentrer en dehors des heures de pointe .

Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Poas Volcano and the La Paz Waterfalls (we opted out of the Starbucks coffee farm because, well, Starbucks; plus we'd planned a plantation tour on another day). Our tour guide Alex was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The scenic drive to both locations only intensified our enjoyment of this full day. Thank you to Costa Rica Itinerary.

The whole family loved this tour. Volcano was spectacular! Gorgeous waterfalls! Best coffee ever! All in one tour. Mike was our guide and he did a terrific job. He speaks great English.
