You mention that this is the 3rd or 4th excursion that you have done this type of excursion without seeing them and the only one with our company, which means that you must have fallen into a period when whales were becoming rarer and that even changing islands; after that it may also depend on the period in which you made these excursions, if it is at the end of the whale season and depending on the year they are more or less present; For my part, I always announce to my customers when the season is coming to an end, but I only know that at the present time. For information, the last whales observed on Bora were at the beginning of December, but I had stopped offering the excursion on November 1 because they were becoming too rare. It is always possible to observe other species during the excursion (dolphins, tuna, swordfish, turtles, whale shark, pilot whales, offshore sharks..), flying fish are part of it because they are omnipresent unfortunately this is not is not the purpose of the excursion because 100% seen are sure to observe but as I always say no one would pay to go on this type of excursion. There is a very high expectation on the part of our customers for this excursion which I understand perfectly well because watching whales is something fantastic, to be able to swim with them even more but to do so you have to be in confidence with the least apprehension possible even it is a little more difficult for some people because very often we swim in the big blue or above depths exceeding those you are used to doing. For me it is important that you are as comfortable as possible even if you are not used to swimming with a mask and especially with a snorkel, it only takes a few explanations to calm down and it comes quickly allowing you to be able to observe the whales in all serenity, in this case this one which came up to us a few meters from us to leave in the blue. I have excellent memories of you two Franzikas from the Royal Hotel with the same first name, almost dressed the same and that you took up the challenge of coming back the next day dressed in the same colors :) This little lunch at the edge of the lagoon during which we discussed ecology before you left with Hiro for the excursion in the lagoon. Merci Arnaud pour ton commentaire et vôtre confiance, deux excursions baleine et une excursion tour du lagon comme cela vous avez pû en profiter au maximum de Bora Bora. Quelle première excursion qui était une demie journée qui s'est transformée en journée tellement les conditions étaient parfaites et nous avons fini par trouver des baleines à 17H30 mais avions déjà vu des dauphins et un requin au large. Bien sûr que je suis content et cela fait 19 ans que ça ne change pas, ;c'est toujours un réel plaisir de voir ces baleines et autres animaux que l'on peut rencontrer ! Merci Patricia pour ce superbe commentaire mais certains vont croire que je t'ai payé pour le mettre ;) en tout cas merci à vous pour vôtre bonne humeur et joie de vivre ! Les conditions étaient parfaites (pas de vent) chose rare depuis plus de 3 mois donc lorsque l'on avait fini l'excursion je ne pouvais pas en rester là, après vous avoir demandé si cela vous tentait de repartir pour un tour nous sommes allés nous poser au St James pour un sandwich et une petite collation et nous étions repartis pour un tour de l'île et en fin de journée ces deux baleines qui nous ont fait le show...quel bonheur ! Entre temps nous avions passé du temps avec ces tursiops puis avons observé un requin au large dans un banc de poissons nous aurions aimé que ce soit un requin baleine (présents en ce moment autour de bora Bora) mais c'était déjà très bien. Pour qu'il y ai une bonne ambiance faut être plusieurs mais surtout avoir l'envie de partager de bons moments même si ne trouvons pas de baleine ce qui n'est pas el cas toujours ; il faut savoir aussi apprécier le tour de l'île qui est magnifique ce que peu de touristes ont l'occasion de faire car ils se cantonnent aux excursions dans le lagon ou sur l'île qui sont très bien aussi ;) C'était une excellente journée avec des personnes de tous les âges et quand l'alchimie prend il ne peut se passer que de belles choses ; merci à vous 06 pour cette belle journée et ce petit apéro/tapas le soir !!
