We had the most amazing time on a 4 day Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. It was only part of our 10 days in Egypt. We were lucky enough to have a local guide from Luxor, who was very knowledgeable and was absolutely enthusiastic to share his culture with us. Mahmoud Nour is educated in Egyptology and had an ease for communicating all of his education with us. He was well organized, had great communication skills, made us feel safe and was attentive to everyone's needs. It was unbelievable to be emerged in history, especially when he also used other media to take us back to the time of the ancient pharaohs. Our tours where with 3-8 people but no matter how many people in the group, he made sure we all heard what he was saying at all times.
We feel like the world is a little bit smaller and we are leaving Egypt with the desire to return. We are fortunate to have met people here who I consider new friends.
Had I known I would have spent more time in Luxor and Aswan with Mahmoud Nour (AMAZING). You really need at least two days in Luxor. I will definitely recommend him to our friends and I recommend him to anyone booking with Egypt Tours Portal. You can request him via email with the company. He really made our trip!

We decided on short notice to plan this 1 day trip to Luxor which we integrated into the weeks diving activities. It was an early start for us 2 ladies, picked up on time by private limousine driver, then met up with our guide, Abdul at the tours starting point.
Abdul received us with a warm welcome, we experienced him as being very polite, knowledgeable and attentive with excellent English command. He is indeed proud of his Egyptian heritage, very inspiring to witness. Other than the tour itself, we also had other wishes in which Abdul was very accommodative and easily integrated them into the days schedule (visit ATM; buy some Black tea/Hibiscus tea/Egyptian coffee goods; buy an authentic cat statue made from the areas material). We also got to choose if lunch is to be at the Nile or in town restaurant; of the latter which we chose had lovely Egyptian food, so we opt for that.
We arrived safely back at the resort in the evening, for us lasting memories in specific the fact that we felt like Queens the whole day, and the Valley of the Kings and Karnak temples were simply impressive The amazing charisma of the queen Hatshepsut history as detailed out by Abdul was indeed a discovery
A huge thank you to our fabulous guide, Abdul and team for giving us a taste of Egyptian history.

Honestly one of the best day trips I’ve had in Egypt! The tour guide (Mr. Mourad Fouad) we had was very knowledgeable and accommodating and allowed to bask in the beauty of the sites. I recommend having him as your guide too if given the chance. My favorite has to be the Karnak Temples; the rich history paired with the unbelievable columns and stones in there were astounding.

Luxor was an outstanding experience in our 7 day trip organized by EGYPT TOUR PORTAL, such as VALLEY OF KINGS in West and KARNAK TEMPLES in the East.
MARIAN AZER was both amazing & passionated guide, very knowledgeable indeed .. She explained the history interestingly very well .. Day was super cool with her covering all places in smooth flow. Will recommend her for all Luxor trips 😀

We had 2 half days touring Luxor booked thru Egypt Portal Tours. First off, this is an Egyptian owned small business. The online booking was easy and the choices varied. We chose to customize the trip, and even with changing it a few times, everything was done as promised at reasonable rates. Email and WhatsApp communication was good. Our local guide Mohammed Hasan was the best we had in Egypt! Had other tours in Cairo that were good, but Mohammed made these special. First he was on time with a clean air conditioned vehicle and safe driver. Mohammed knows his Egyptology & was able to explain ancient history in a thought provoking but fun way. Human nature hasn’t changed much over millennia. He handled hotel check in, all ticket purchases and found excellent local restaurants to take us to. Entertaining conversations(his English is great) throughout the day gave us a truer sense of living in Egypt and Luxor today. He went beyond what was in our contract to help with a pharmacy, money exchange and late checkouts. Our #1 choice in Luxor.

From the beginning we were looking for a good company to do our tours in Egypt, and we cannot regret of choosing this company! Their service is amazing, our lovely guide Nermeen showed us the best of Luxor and the secrets behind the pharaohs story. I highly recommend this tour.

We booked a private tour to Luxor from El Gouna, the trip to the destination is quite long almost 4 hour, fortunately we had a private car! What we discovered at the arrival was beautiful!! Our tour guide Mahmoud Nour was brilliant! We had a wonderful time! He explained us some history about the places we visited and gave us good tips we can only recommend him! The. We took a small cruise on the Nile and stop at a delicious restaurant for lunch. Then the last visit at Karnak temple and headed back to El Gouna. All went perfect! A good organization and driver!!

We booked this tour online in advance to our stay in Egypt. The organisation was good, also the response time on the mails was quick.
On the day of the tour we were picked up right in front of our hotel. Our driver was skilled and friendly and took us to Luxor in 5hrs.
In Luxor Nermeen welcomed us as our guide. She guided us the whole day. Her knowledge was huge and she could answer every of our questions.
There was always enough time to take pictures beside sightseeing and Nermeen let us customize the tour so it fits best to our interests and plans.
We also had nice talks about egyptian way of life.
Lunch was delicious and healthy. Nice spot and good view over the river Nile.
It was an informative and fun day trip.
I definitely recommend this tour, especially with Nermeen!
