My husband and I had a truly incredible time at Karongwe Reserve. The reserve had very strict rules about how many vehicles could be out and approaching the animals, so we almost always felt like our jeep was the only one out there and that ensured a very intimate experience with the wildlife and nature. We saw the Big Five and our guide and tracker were extremely knowledgeable, attentive and entertaining! The accommodation was 5*, the food was very good and diverse and the atmosphere was extremely friendly and hospitable. Of course this costs more than camping out in Kruger but it was worth every penny.

Me and my friends were studying in Cape Town for the summer and thought it would be fun to fly up to Kruger for the weekend and go on a safari. What we got was beyond our hopes. We saw all of the animals we wanted to see in large quantities. Our guides were great and knew great spots to stop for our sunset and early morning game drive stops. I 100% recommend checking out this experience

This company could not have made our safari easier! We were a ground up 4 college students who wanted to have the entire safari experience but didn’t know how to begin to plan it. Wayne found the best package for us, and we loved every moment of our weekend. He took into account our college budget, and he found us the trip that gave us the best bang for our buck. We stayed at Manyeleti, and we saw all of the Big 5 plus everything else we could have hoped to see. The game drives were incredible, and the staff at Manyeleti (guide, spotter, and general staff) were the most genuine people.
I’m so glad we found Wayne because we truly could not have put everything together in the way he did. All we did was book our flights into and out of Johannesburg, and he did everything in between. I definitely recommend this company! If you’re on a budget, if you’re overwhelmed by complicated planning, or if you aren’t even sure what you want your safari to look like, this company will put together the PERFECT itinerary for you! A truly wonderful experience.

It was a pleasure assisting the 4 of you and we are glad the Wayne, the lodge in Manyeleti and all of our staff at Kruger Park Travel lived up to your expectations.
All of our consultants do their utmost to assist all travellers in getting the ideal once in a lifetime safari experience and offer 24 hours on safari support.
The guides, trackers and staff at the lodge in the Manyeleti go out of their way to find as many animals as possible, along with making your stay as comfortable as possible and I must include that the food at the lodge is outstanding.

All the trip was booked over internet and from Europe. The local contact was very helpful, she provide all the indication for the pick-up and advice how to best use my time.
As she well know distance and time needed you should share every concern you may have and the local team will be able to help you out.
The lodge are simply, clean and comfortable, and all the local staff is simply amazing.
The safari are done with two ranger that knows very well the surrounding and as personal suggest you should spend some time talking with them and find out how they are able to spot animals you simply can't see without their help.
On the safari you just need your camera and something to wear as the temperature can drop a lot when the sun is gone, for all the other needs, simply ask to the staff.
I would like to thanks all the local team to let me have such a good experience.

You are correct in saying that the temperature in the evening decreases once the sun has set and a warm jacket helps before enjoying dinner around the campfire.

We booked this with Kruger Park travel agent on the advice of Ruben Jacobs - and it was a fantastic recommendation for us! We loved the tented camp experience and the wildlife viewing at the local watering hole. The elephants visited the pool area by the lodge often, and we had a chance to observe them close hand. At night we heard animals in the bush nearby. The guides at this camp were excellent and we enjoyed tracking a leopard along a dry riverbed, finding a pride of lions by the riverbank one evening, and watching young elephants at play. We saw the Big 5 within our first few game drives, and every day was amazing. Our fellow guests were from many other countries, and we enjoyed the casual ambiance at the lodge and over meals. The tented camps are spacious and very comfortable, and the beds have heating pads for cold nights - perfectly comfortable! We would visit again and we'd book with Kruger Park Travel.

The Manyeleti private reserve offers amazing safari drives and game viewing and we are glad that you saw all of the Big 5.
Tracking the Leopard in the riverbed is an experience I'm sure you will never forget and a pride of Lions in their natural habit is certainly something at all travellers would like to see.
The guides at the Mantobeni Camp do go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful experience at the Lodge.

we stayed at Manyeleti main camp and did a lot of game drives and saw a lot of wildlife becasuse our guide Walter was an excellent finder of animals. we saw lions , cheetah, leopard , elehants etc.
our accomodation was nice and the food was home made, very tasty.

Actually we stayed at Manyaleti Mantobeni Honey Guide tented camp. They have two but I recommend this one. They have their own large reserve ( Manyaleti) and an open border with Kruger NP so you travel in both. We saw most of the big five in the first two days! Our guides were excellent and very good at tracking. If you enjoy walking across elephants in your path on the way to breakfast ( just wait for them to move on) and want to stay in a large elevated tent with comfortable furnishings and a private deck, try it. They also have a great viewing deck, water hole and elephants who visit the pool. Good food, friendly, intimate experience.
