Originally I learned about Mark because of a tour that I went on to Machu Picchu in 2008 arranged by "Sacred Sites Journeys," Mark and Andrea Pinkham's tour company. The trip was a fabulous bucket list trip of a lifetime for me. When I got back to the states I told my friend who lead that tour I wanted to go to Sedona the following month. She suggested I contact Mark when I got there so I could take a vortex tour with him which my husband and I did. It was an awesome tour and we had the best experience and so enjoyed Mark.
Fast forward to 5/2023 my second trip to Sedona I couldn't wait to get in touch with Mark and go on his newer tour " City of the Star People Tour" . This tour was totally different than the Vortex tour. With this tour I learned so much about the history of Sedona and the civilizations (both physical and metaphysical) that made this a sacred site to begin with and what it's functions were and are to this day. And all the history! It truly is mind blowing to think about! I will never see Sedona or the rest of our planet and universe the same way!. Mark is a fantastic guide and I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with him. I love his knowledge, his lite humor and his dedication to being a thorough non biased researcher and terrific educator/guide. Needless to say I highly recommend this tour especially if you feel drawn to Sedona not just for the beauty and the hiking but for the sacredness of this very special magical place.

I really loved this tour! Mark is so knowledgeable, and is very thorough with sharing this knowledge. If you are interested in learning more about the truth below the surface, so to speak, this is a tour you will love! I have been studying Star Beings, mounds, human beginnings etc for quite awhile, and I was so happy to have more pieces to the puzzle after this experience. Sedona is a very special, sacred place, integral to the story of humanity, and Mark's tour will leave you with greater understanding. I highly recommend this tour!

I Sedona is a place of mystery and there is no better guide to this magic city than Mark Amaru Pinkham. My family and I had the good fortune of taking Mark’s famous “Star People” tour of the Sedona vortexes and it was the highlight of our trip to Arizona. Mark has been living in Sedona and studying the vortexes there for more than 35 years. He is the author of a number of books, including Return of the Serpents of Wisdom and an Initiate’s Guide to the Path of the Dragon.
He is a world-renowned esoteric researcher, so you will get the history of the area - as well as the esoteric, hidden history of the area. Mark’s research is mind-blowing and brilliant - so prepare for a paradigm-shift during his tour. We started the day by meeting at the Merlin statue, near the Whole Foods. We then drove to various vortexes and points of interest, including the Tibetan Stupa and the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Mark has developed a fascinating cosmology of the region that links the Tibetans, Hopi Indians, Vedic civilization, the Yezidis - and even Pleiadians - to the development of Sedona. He believes that our ancient relatives from the Pleiades originally inhabited Sedona and sculpted many of the red rock foundations that we can still see to this day. Among the highlights of the tour was rock formations of Ganesh , Shiva linghams and even the “Court of the King of the the world.” As a bonus, you get a signed copy of his book “Sedona: City of Star People.” Once you take his tour, you will never look at the Sedona rocks the same!

If you are interested in extraterrestrials, you will love this tour! Mark is a wealth of information and you will not see Sedona the same after you take his tour. You won’t find another tour with this information!

Mark led 2 of us on a tour of the Sedona valley showing us some of the mystical geography and sacred geometry. He is knowledgeable about the Indigenous people and other travelers to the area in ancient times. He was kind and helpful in designing a tour that took into account our limitations. I am grateful that we had time to sit and absorb our surroundings and meditate. His car was comfortable and he was a careful driver, also providing water on a hot day.

Let me first express how much I respect and admire Mark for his in depth research with both the physical, and metaphysical phenomena related to Sedona, the world, and the universe. I have been following his work for quite some time and decided to take a voyage with him on his Sedona Star people tour while on a trip through Sedona, and I’m happy I got the chance to meet and converse with him in person. He is a very interesting persona and his tour will both challenge you and enlighten you to the potentialities of all the afore mentioned subjects I mentioned. Not just Sedona. I really liked his tour because he brings you to places the usual cookie cutter jeep tours may not, as well as showing you an unique and alternative perspective of Sedona. He is also extremely knowledgeable of the history and landmarks of the area. Which also extend all over the world because of his various pilgrimages he has taken on his own and with another tour him and his wife operate that I have been interested in as well. He adds a deeper aspect of spirituality as well. There was a meditation at a very auspicious Buddhist spot, and I even got to hold a nice chunk of meteorite the whole time. The purpose of he will also explain to you. I find it difficult to disagree with what he says because I agree with nearly everything he says on multiple subjects. I encourage anybody to delve deeper into his writings, and I know that you will leave this tour with a deeper understanding of the area. As well as yourself and your place in the universe. Not to mention he’s funny and an all around decent guy that genuinely strives to make life more harmonious and peaceful for all sentient beings. Thanks Mark!

Our group had the absolute honor and blessing to have weaved together with author and tour guide Mark Amaru Pinkham for a magical and sacred experience of Sedona. We really got to feel and sense the Red Rock country up close and personal as he guided us throughout the various sacred sites and landmarks, complemented with enlightening and interesting multi-dimensional information of its history. Mark’s high level knowledge, personal experiences and perspectives of Sedona, and fun loving energy made this tour truly one of a kind and literally out of this world! Whenever the Universe guides you to Sedona, we highly recommend you to meet Mark and take this tour!

An extremely interesting perspective on the ancient civilizations and the significance of Sedona relating to our world. Mark is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Sedona making this a very unique and personal experience. Understanding more about the history and the importance of this beautiful place gives me a whole new appreciation. Plus you get a copy of Sedona City of the Star People. Would highly recommend, thank you Mark!

See Sedona close up and personal - this is an all inclusive tour by a published author/expert guide. In a comfortable easy setting, Mark provided details as well as an overview to help us really see and feel Sedona. For planning purposes, I suggest starting with a City of the Star People Tour to make the most of your time. This tour will literally bring you to the doorstep (or view) of Sedona landmarks. Having Mark as a guide allowed me to take a deeper look into all that Sedona has to offer while giving us the opportunity to customize our Sedona experience!
