I have been to Midevil Times all my sons and my life but thought of taking my sons to the Pirates Dinner. I booked with the intent of attending on a Thursday but after we booked our plans changed and when I called to move our reservations to the day before, I was informed they canceled that days show. We had no options left and I asked for a refund and was informed they don't offer refunds but can use the tickets within a year of purchase(yes, its noted on the site only on the bottom of the last page before purchase). I told them I didn't know when or if I would be back within the year and asked them to send a request for consideration of a refund. They person on the phone said they would but said "the last time I asked, they were annoyed with the request." On principle, I will not ever attend this facility and have already told family and friends to avoid going and instead, recommend Midevil Times anytime they want to go to a dinner show. I would have preferred a refund and booked when we could in the future. Not even the parking I pre-paid for was able to be refunded. Poor customer service.

I would not recommend the show. It is not well produced and the food is practically inedible. The show is way too loud and too busy. It needs much better directing and halfway decent food.

I did not get to go, because I paid with a virtual card and the virtual card's number is automatically generated for each use. For some reason, they refused to honor my reservation because the credit card I actually used ended in a different set of numbers. Apparently, their staff are unfamiliar with virtual cards, and they have no training to anticipate this issue. This all happened despite the fact that I also provided my drivers license, the actual card I used, offered other cards, and also offered to simply pay in cash (I had ~$200 of cash on my for some reason).
They refused to let me enter and then refused to refund me, so they sent my up a flight of stairs to get a refund from their box office manager, who refused to open the door for me when I knocked. I called (the very same person) and almost immediately got a refund, despite the fact that I offered her actual money for a product. Instead, they treated me as an inconvenience and could not even remotely explain the sentiment or rationale of their really, mind-bogglingly stupid policy that, in this case, resulted in a loss of revenue, aside from just either robotically or curtly/rudely stating that it was "their policy."
Message to operators: Train your staff to retain revenue and to provide rational explanations for your policy, instead of just being indifferent and rude. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a positive use case for their policy and I honestly cannot. I cannot think of any other business that takes credit cards that A) Have not encountered a protocol for virtual cards or B) will not allow you to use an alternate form of payment once identification is verified. This includes car rental companies, hotels, you name it.

We had the best time at the Pirates Dinner Adventure. The show was amazing and the pirates were so much fun. It was great to be involved and my youngest son went on stage to shoot the Leviathan. The dinner was very enjoyable and we enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine. The kids loved it! Thank you to all the cast, you guys were amazing!

Be careful! The ad for this attraction came up as available for Orlando, Florida. I, by mistake, after booking it, discovered the attraction was in California. Living in Florida, it would be impossible to attend. I spoke with Pirates Dinner Adventure, and they were willing to refund me but was unable since the attraction was sold by Trip Advisor and they (Pirates Dinner) would not receive any money from Trip Advisor since they would not have any tickets to get reimbursements. My advice is make sure you are careful when dealing with Yrip Advisor!

Unfortunately this was not a great experience. There was no atmosphere in the area where the show took place … this could simply have been due to a lack of audience in the area. The speaking was muffled and the meal …. Not great. So disappointed, as we were really looking forward to this show.

BE WARNED!! We have booked a large family vacation for 4 nights at Disneyland, and thought it would be fun to book the VIP Dinner at Pirates Dinner Adventure. We booked and paid in full back in December. They called this past Sunday, 3 days prior to our reservation, to cancel due to "Not enough reservations for that evening"! and when I called back to get a refund, the agent told us it was "Due to technical difficulties", which was a lie!!! So now, we have nothing to do that evening with our family. When I called for the refund, they said that they could rebook us and they normally don't give refunds. I insisted that they give us a refund, and we wouldn't be rebooking. I DID get a refund, but beware! Have a back up plan as they don't really care about your "entertainment" only profit.

The cast did a great job. The show had some great choreography, the actors were fun and funny and I loved how they included children from the audience in so many aspects. The set and lighting were fanatsic!
The food and the drinks were lackluster, but thats not why you go to a show like this, just temper your expectations on that front

It was amazing 👏. We had the regular chicken dinner and dang I was pleasantly surprised how juicy, tender, and flavorful it was. Mashed potatoes were great 👍. The veggies were nicely steamed and seasoned well. The show was fantastic 👏. Very kid-friendly but also fun for adults. Our server was Karrigan and her service is top-notch 👌. Never had to ask for refills. The entertainers interacted with the crowd and got everyone to participate which only enhanced the experience. Will go again, especially to see their vampire show for Halloween 🎃. I will suggest this place to my friends, family and strangers.

If I could give a 0, I would. I do not recommend this place. I will make sure to let family, friends, or anyone that is even thinking about attending to save their money.
The night my family and I attended was a "media night" aka a bunch of influencers with their cameras. Now I understand a business wanting exposure and expanding their business through social media, but I was never made aware of this when I purchased my tickets. I only became aware of this when we attended the event. By then, I had already paid for our tickets and they have a no refund policy.
Now, I can get over the fact that mine and my family's faces will appear on some random influencer's social media page. But what was really upsetting and ruined the entire night was how these influencers got special treatment compared to actual paying customers like myself and my family.
We were seated in the corner where we had an obstructed view and we could only see a portion of the stage while the influences had better seating. There were so many open seats with better viewing and when we asked to be moved they declined.
