This was the best wine tour I've ever taken.
It was wonderful to be able to meet Janelle Dusi and her family at J Dusi and taste their wine in various stages from grape juice to fermented juice to finished wine; I really enjoyed the family stories, too. Having munchies along with the wine was an EXCELLENT idea.
At Opolo, I really liked the scenic views, the explanation of their history, and the mix of distillery and winery tastings. The lunch was very good and, unsurprisingly, complemented the wine perfectly.
The 1122 speakeasy in Paso Robles was a great finish to the day. The Blackberry Bramble was delicious (I wish I'd gotten the recipe), and the atmosphere was intriguing.
The staff at all three locations were very helpful and friendly, too.
Rod was our driver, and he kept us entertained on the drives with facts, stories, and even a few dad jokes. I happened to sit near Cary at lunch and enjoyed talking with him, too. Michelle and Krystal kept things lively, too, and were busy taking photos which they shared with us.
I also enjoyed talking with all of the other guests on the tour - everyone was there to have a good time and relax, and no one overindulged.
I am definitely looking forward to another Grapeline tour!

This was a great wine tour! It was the first of our trip and we traveled throughout Paso and visited very unique wineries. The tour felt more private than others which gave us a good opportunity to learn from the local wine makers. Thank you Rod for your hospitality!

Excellent well organised tour of three vineyards. Our guide and driver Rod was very knowledgeable and friendly. Good company with four other couples. Lunch was very good. Wines varied and delicious .

Michael was our driver and was very accommodating, friendly and got us to our destinations safely. Each host at the three wineries (Thacher, Whalebone and McPrice Myers) were fantastic!

Michael and the tour were awesome. We loved the three wineries selected including San Juliette, Graveyard, Bianca. The tasting were generous and quite high quality wines. The box lunch was yummy with plenty of food. The pace was slow enough to enjoy each stop and get to know our hosts. Michael was engaging and knowledgable. We highly recommend.

Such a fun day ! The wineries we went to were all very different in their own ways & the views were amazing. Wasn’t crowded so the service was great - Hank was our driver for the day and he was terrific!

Our Tour Guide Michael arrived early and picked us up at our accommodations. He was very nice and very informative regarding the tour. We enjoyed the three wineries we tasted at.
The box lunch was delicious too. We wish that the wineries had offered oyster crackers to cleanse the palate between wine pours.
We also wished that the tour company would let you know which wineries we would be visiting (at time of confirmation), so there would be no duplication of tastings during our stay.
The tour is a good value and we would recommend it to all.

Good choice of wineries; beautiful drive through the Paso Robles wine region; Michael, our guide, was very informative and knowledgeable. He was also a very pleasant guy.
Grapevine Wine Tours was also the only firm I could find to pick up and drop me off at my hotel in San Luis Obispo. The administration staff were really helpful when I was trying to book my tour from the UK. Great service and a super team.

When you book a private tour, you can choose any wineries you want. Wehn you come out on a shred tour, you can make requests, and they will be honored if possible (but no guarantees as we have to consider the other folks on a shared tour)

Yes, guests can submit winery requests. There is no pre-determined set of wineries. It varies almost daily (in part, because we try to honor requests, and in part because of other factors like weather, winery events, etc.)
