We originally booked a tour with Scott back in 2020, but it was cancelled due to COVID. We finally rebooked and are so glad that we did. Planning was a breeze and everything was catered to our tastes. We were a group of four girls and we wine taste frequently, so we definitely had expectations! Karina picked us up and she was such a fun and accommodating host. She "read the room" and we had a great time. She provided just enough wine and area knowledge, while letting us do our thing. The tasting experiences we had were high end and felt special. I'd definitely book with Sustainable Wine Tours again.

Perfect is often an adjective used to describe tours with Sustainable Wine Tours, but in our experience with Scott, there's really no better way to describe our day. Everything was perfectly curated to our tastes and interests with wine, accompanied by a knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous host. Scott truly made us feel welcomed from our first booking interaction to our final drop off. Visit the Santa Ynez Valley from the Santa Rita Hills to Happy Canyon and everything in between, if that's your interest. Scott and his team will make sure your day meets your wine experience expectations from novice to advanced, without a hint of pretentiousness. We literally cannot wait to come visit Sustainable Wine Tours again. Book with confidence and without abandon!

This was such an amazing experience for one of our days in Santa Barbara. Our host, Frances, picked us up right from the hotel and she was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the different wines. We got tours of the vineyards and did tastings with the owners of 3 incredible wineries. 10/10 experience!!

Our tour was perfect. The three wineries had excellent wine and were all a bit different in what we were able to see. The tour was well organized with a minimum of time driving between locations. You could tell the winemakers we tasted with were passionate and eager to share knowledge. Our guide from Sustainable was knowledgeable and friendly. She shared information that helped make our trip better even beyond the tour.

My mom and I had the most amazing and memorable experience. We visited three wineries and had a wonderful experience at each of them. Karina was our guide and she was so sweet and kind, so knowledgeable, and simply phenomenal. We could not have asked for a better experience! I would recommend this tour to anyone!

This private tour was highly recommended and did not disappoint us. The experience is well worth the price. Scott was a great guide, very personable and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience. We went to 3 places and did not feel rushed at any of them. Each was tailored to our wine preferences/likings and all were very good. I would also highly recommend this private tour. Each winery/vineyard was different and each host was awesome. I have been to several wine tours but this was the best one yet, it will be hard to top it. The one on one discussions we had with each owner/guide was enjoyable. To hear their passion for what they do was just awesome and they made sure that we enjoyed our experience.

Scott is truly one of the best tour guides you can ask for when it comes to a wine tour. Sure it's a little pricey, especially if you get the Private Tour in the Tesla, but it's honestly worth every single penny and then some. He set up tours where we actually met with the makers of the wine and some of them even invited us into their home and let us try/buy their private stock. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The lunch that he provided and the cheese plates were all delicious and was just truly the best experience we could have asked for. It was worth every penny plus then some. Best tour you could ask for if you're going on a trip through Santa Barbara Wine Country. 11/10 would recommend

A group of three out from the east coast did the full day private wine tour with Scott. We've been to lots of vineyards all over the world and this was definitely one of our favorite experiences. You're picked up at your door and shuttled to three different wineries where we had exclusive tastings with the actual winemakers. Cheese/fruit was provided throughout along with a tasty lunch. If you're into wine and the backstories of the winemakers, this is the tour for you. No throngs of tourists, busses, or folks just looking to get hammered. Scott was super friendly and provided lots of great recommendations for the balance of our time in Santa Barbara. Highly recommend this tour!

This wine tour was a gift for my husband, and it didn't disappoint! It was our first time leaving our 4 month old for the day, and it was so relaxing that we didn't even worry about him. We were guided by Karina, who tailored the tour to our interests and questions, and was also just a fun person to get to know.
All of the vineyards were beautiful, the wines were wonderful, and we were excited to learn about wineries we'd never been to before. We live locally in Santa Barbara, so this was a great orientation to some new places to check out. I'd highly recommend.

We had the best experience with Scott from Sustainable Wine Tours. He was such a great guide. He was very knowledge about Santa Barbara, the growing regions, vineyards and the wine. He brought us to a beautiful setting for lunch, which was delicious, to three distinctly different wine tasting experiences. The wines were wonderful, we loved being the only ones tasting and that the experience was private and tailored. It was one of the highlights to our trip to Santa Barbara, and Scott was exceptional. I would highly recommend Sustainable Wine tours for an enhanced wine tour experience. It was wonderful!
