Highly recommend! I had a vague idea of what I wanted to do. Bronagh gave me an array of options, I picked and then she organised everything from there. It was a gift as a solo traveller. The standard of accommodation was exceptional overall. The walking notes, the restaurant recommendations, the safety net of having an emergency number... It was worth every cent 💯

I’m so thankful that I booked with Magic Hill rather than have to go about doing all the planning myself. There was an amazing ease of mind in having a place to stay every night. (I think they downplay it in the description because these hotels and guest houses were amazing lol)
And also having your luggage taken ahead and delivered to your next place to stay was heaven.
The walking notes were especially handy as it made us more aware of things of interest to look out for.
Also the customer service was outstanding with any questions answered almost immediately.

My wife and I had been thinking about doing El Camino for many years. We finally decided 2023 would be the year, and after some online research, we contacted Magic Hill for a quote. From the start, Bronagh was very responsive, and she was always ready to adjust the trip to our preferences. We had a wonderful trip, with great memories. The wonderful selection of places to stay, detailed instructions, and nice recommendations from Bronagh made all the difference. The logistic was spotless, and the almost daily, respectful, WhatsApp messages from Magic Hill reassured us that they were ready to help if we needed anything.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Magic Hill. In fact we are already thinking of another trip, and it will be with Magic Hill for sure.

If you have been thinking about doing the Camino then do not put it off any longer - we loved every minute of it and I would highly recommend Magic Hill. I contacted Bronagh at Magic Hill with the dates we had available to us and she curated the itinerary for us so that we got the best out of the little time we had there and it suited our budget - the accommodation was superb and very comfortable and we opted for the bag drop which meant that all we had to do was walk and enjoy the experience. Magic Hill gave a very detailed breakdown of each section including distance, difficulty, things to look out for on the way plus recommended cafes and restaurants. Bronagh also included facilities that offered gluten free options which was a huge help to me. Bronagh sent us a message each morning to check in with us to make sure everything was going well and we knew she was available should anything go wrong. I have no doubt that I will be booking again with Magic Hilo to complete more of the Camino in the future.

Fantastic trip ! as first timers to the Camiño we decided to book with magic hill and it was the best decision ! All of the logistics was sorted for us by Bronagh and her team - we just needed to turn up and enjoy the walking experience. Anyone looking to undertake the Camiño I would recommend using Magic Hill. Bronagh was a huge support coming up to the trip and also while we were there she sent voice notes with tips on restaurants and things to see on the trail it was a lovely personal touch. The accommodation on the trail was lovely and the whole trip was seamless. I will definitely be back to do another leg of the Camiño and I will be rebooking with Magic Hill !

Magic Hill Camino trip
This year as I tipped the wrong side of 70 my wife and I decided it was time for us to do the Camino de Santiago de Compostela as we had promised ourselves we would do some time after we retired. Luckily we had the good fortune to get a recommendation from a fellow walker to check out Magic Hill Camino Walks.
From my first contact with Bronagh of Magic Hill it was clear from her deep knowledge of the various Caminos that Magic Hill was a good choice of company to organise our trip.
All of her recommendations turned out to be perfect for us, from which Camino to choose, the length of the walk and how to break it up over a six day period - taking into account our capabilities and then suggesting the most appropriate accommodation for our stay. We opted for the French Camino doing the last 114Kms, starting at Sarria and finishing in Santiago de Compostela.
We added on a few extra days at the beginning and the end of the walk and Bronagh took care of the hotel bookings (in a very good Pazo and an excellent hotel) and all transfers. All of our accommodation along the Camino was excellent and in most cases located in beautiful surroundings.
For the journey itself we were supplied with detailed information on points of interest along the way and local history. Maps were provided as well as digital mapping (although not really necessary as this section of the Camino is very well signposted and easy to navigate). An exhaustive list of places to stop for refreshments was also included. Our luggage (two 20 Kilo bags) was transferred every day like clockwork from our accommodation to our next destination. All we had to do was enjoy the day’s walk.
I can’t finish this without mentioning that Bronagh also sent us WhatsApp messages most mornings of our trip with best wishes for the day and a few extra tips. In my opinion Bronagh’s top tip for Santiago was to steer us to the best Tapas Bar in Santiago de Compostela!
Finally, it’s possible to do this trip under your own steam and therefore cheaper, however, I have to say that booking through Magic Hill was worth every penny and we definitely got great personal service, the best possible accommodation and indeed great value for money.

Great, well organized trip. From beginning to end, easy to just enjoy our walks. Lovely quiet hotels, excellent recommendations for food and sightseeing. Bronagh Carroll of Magic Hill Holidays was readily available by phone if we had needed assistance. Strongly recommend staying in Santiago an extra day or so...lots to explore there.

We were quite nervous starting our first Camino but travelling with Magic Hill meant that everything was covered. The walking notes were comprehensive and the coffee and lunch stop guides were invaluable. They were dog eared at the end of every day. The accommodation was impeccable. We were greeted warmly at every stop and even left one day with our day bag full of homemade treats.
Walking the Camino is a very special experience and we could not recommend Bronagh and Magic Hill highly enough.

From beginning to end, our time on the Camino was magical! From the minute we arrived in Santiago airport, everything was taken care of, our transfers, accommodation, recommendations along the way, and the icing on the cake: the 5 star Parador hotel in Santiago for our last night, what a treat! A huge thank you to Brónagh and the team for the incredible work they do. We are already planning our next Camino trip for next year, and you can be sure we will be booking through Magic Hill again! 🌟

I can't say enough great things about Magic Hill. I was nervous about doing my first Camino but I didn't need to be. Bronagh put together a great itinerary, provided loads of information to ensure I'd be prepared and checked in with me every day with helpful hints and tips. The one mini-glitch that was 100% out of her control (someone stole my airport transfer!) was sorted so fast all it did was create a funny story to get my trip started!
