The couch trip out was ok and took about an hour,although a little longer getting back to the city due to the heavy traffic.
it was nice to get out of New York for a few hours and we couldn't fault the weather. It was either nice to see something different, even if it was just for shopping.
Although there are bargins to be had, you would need to do a little resourcing first as to what you want and see if it is cheaper at woodbury Common other wise wait till you get to the city or even the the uk. If you're prepared to pay a little extra, then that's fine, buy it.
The discount codes you can download aren't worth much either as they can also get you to spend more for items or over a certain amount just to get the discounts
Just be mindful that you may not always get a bargain.
Just a better version of Clarks village or a Mcarthurglen outlet for us Brits.

The only two brands offering good deals were Ralph Lauren (premium line) with 60% off on all items and Phillip Plain 70% off.
Breitling 15-20% in discount and 2 year international warranty. Unfortunately, the store is being closed this week. Tag Heuer was offering an amazing discount of 40-50%, but I was a bit puzzled by the fact that Carerra models did not have the transparent case (make sure to run all the checks before buying).
All in all, the trip is a waste of time if you are coming from the EU. The majority of the oferring are the same prices we have available year-round.

Bought tickets via Tripadvisor prior to travelling. Pick up point a little walk from our hotel in Times Square. Outlet itself was good, but have done better. Plenty of shops to visit, we visited the day after Presidents Day, so sale offers still applied. Good selection as usual in the Food Court.

Very well organised trip to Woodbury common designer outlet, it is no more expensive to do this trip, then if you go to the New York port authority.
I would recommend this trip, as there are bargains to be had, but expect to spend the day, as there is lots of shops, we got the 8.30am coach & returned at 6.30pm.
The journey takes about 1 hour 20 minutes.

The actual excursion to the outlets was fantastic and well organised. The meeting location was very easy to find and there was a coordinator in Manhattan making sure everything and everyone knew what they were doing and where to go, providing information about the round trip.
The bus is very comfortable and the drivers were all fantastic. There is a compartment beneath the bus for anyone wanting to take large pieces of luggage.
A warning to everyone though. They do take every seat on the bus and it can be very uncomfortable to sit next to strangers for some.
The return trip was a mess of confusion though. Some of the buses seem to be overbooked even though everyone books a time of return beforehand. Many of us saw the bus was full and had to go and find another bus and line up. Then switch back to the original bus again when no one was there to tell us what to do. They need a coordinator to direct people and traffic at Woodbury. It was a mess of confusion.
Tour America completely lacks service and care as a company. I tried to email them several times over the course of 6 months before I went on this excursion and they did not respond a single time. I just wanted to confirm my excursion and a couple of other things. They don't respond to emails so don't bother. The customer service line is always occupied and you cannot get in touch with anyone. Most people are overseas tourists and calling an International line is not economical for us. It is for this reason I took two stars off. Customer service and care is just as important as the excursion itself.
If for some reason the day went wrong or someone needed a refund, I would think you would say goodbye to your money because it is impossible to contact anyone there.

Going was fine . Return journey was not . Make sure you get a return ticket from the agent. I wasn't given one and the return driver wouldn't let me on the bus. Left me standing in the rain . His attitude stank. Let me on in the end but,said If I need you're seat you'll have to get off. I am a senior citizen,female miles from Manhattan. I could have cried . I won't be booking again.Iy was an awful experience.

Im a. New yorker. And like most new yorkers i dont have a car. So having a bus that goes out there is great ! Bus was nice. Perfect amount of time at outlet. Would definitely use this bus company again.

The bus was efficient and comfortable with WiFi. You get coupons that you can use but there is a minimum spend in the store so we only used one once. The actual shops are spread out over a very wide area. We were on the 10:30am bus and arrived around midday. The bus back to Manhattan departed at 4pm and there's virtually no chance you'll see all the shops you want to see so you need to work out which shops you want to go to and where they are on the map otherwise you'll waste time doubling back to get to the shops you want to go to. The shops had a lot of great bargains and it was certainly worth the effort but I wouldn't say the bargains were phenomenal. One of the store attendants told us that we came at the wrong time of the year as the sales are on around black Friday and the weeks thereafter.

Everything was as per the website information. The bus left at 8:30am. Just an advice if you are going first time, take it with u a big luggage if you want to shop a lot.
I arrived before the outlet was opened, and I finished my shopping at 4:15pm. As a result, I asked if I could come back to NY earlier than from the time I had previously booked. The company and the driver allowed as there was an available seat.
