Two hours wait at the airport, until they came to pick us up. Hotel San Martin in Rome correct, perhaps unprepared for the large volume of people at breakfast, long lines for coffee and toaster. Narrow and uncomfortable route bus.
Hoter Raffaello in Florence, has plenty of stars, no complimentary water, breakfast with soluble coffee and no toaster for bread on the first day, the second day there was espresso maker and home toaster (2 slices) per batch, that thanks to the guide, who claimed it, the right room. In Venice Tritone hotel correct simply that you had to shower in phases as on the top floor the water barely had pressure and we had to wait to clarify; the hotel was aware of the problem and we were kindly offered to change rooms which we refused.
The right lunches and dinners on the tour.
The best, the guide Antonio very Pro person, friendly, and all the time pending everything.
What we didn't think was right was "the tip rate" for chauffeur i guide, it's in very bad taste, one when traveling doesn't suggest written tips, it's voluntary.
In my job I'm not tipped to perform the same.

We had such a great tour, all because of the Carrani Tour guide Sabrina. She was knowledgeable and fun, it was easy to understand her and she made everything very clear. It was amazing to stop in so many cities and countrysides in Italy going all the way up to Vegas. We enjoyed the trip very much because it gave us a balance of free time and time with the tour group. The hotels were not amazing, but we weren’t in the hotels too much. Some of the food for the restaurants were included were just okay. Thank you Sabrina for a lovely trip. When you book, ask for her!

It was a trip we had planned for some time. We finally made it. Italy has fallen in love with you since arrival. We toured Rome, Florence and Venice, stopping in Assisi, Siena, Pisa, Padua, Bologna and Montepulciano. What a marvel of cities: wherever you looked you had a work of art, an emblematic building, what has been an open-air museum. We were also very lucky to have a group of fellow travelers (or Apostles as our guide Antonio Lombardi named us) who made the tour much more pleasant. We became Family. The cathedral of Siena (you have to enter), the medieval village of Assisi with its Basilica of San Francisco, the gate of paradise of the Baptistery and the Cathedral of Florence, the tower of Pisa and its Cathedral, the Basilica of San Pedro, and finally Venice: what a wonderful city (my favorite of all). You have to climb the tower in St. Mark's Square and enjoy the views of all the islands and canals. Special mention for our guide Antonio and for our driver Alessandro (a 10 for both).

I am currently trapped in Florence with this budget tour group that I never realized I was booking because I booked through Tour Radar and paid just as much for this tour as I did for a tour with EF Go Ahead Tours which was so much better comma so much better organized and with so much better communication for the same money! The hotel I am in in Florence or actually Firenze is Ratty and does not even have coffee in the rooms! I have never heard of a hotel that does not provide coffee and tea in the rooms!! And I didn't even know we were coming to this hotel until the bus pulled up in front because they told us we would be at a different hotel, which is the information I gave my family as to where I would be! Now I feel like I'm being held hostage by this budget tour company who is now taking me to God knows where because apparently we have no say in where we go and we don't even end up where they tell us we're going to be!

Excellent tour, saw allot of the ancient history churches and buildings. Meals with the tour were great. Our tour guide Sabrina was very knowledgeable, friendly and was always available when we had questions. The bus driver Hermondo was excellent. Hotels were great.

This was my first ever solo trip to do a little soul searching and I truly couldn't have been happier. Patricia was the most wonderful tour guide. She was professional, kind, understanding, funny, organized and so very knowledgeable. Our driver, Mr. Alessandro was also super pleasant, kind and very personable. The best part, he kept his candy dish stocked just for me!

Great trip with great destinations, guides and drivers! Very nice accommodations. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions on dining and attractions to visit.

Italy is amazing, the views are spectacular, and you can't go wrong with the delicious, authentic, organic food. I was a little disappointed with the fact that I had to haul my luggage from the hotel to the tour bus every time we moved from city to city. I compared notes with other travelers whose tour company provided the service.
The hotels are rated at 4 to 5 star, but in my opinion, they should be rated at 3 stars. My second hotel accommodated us in a room with broken air conditioner, and no wifi. I had to practically cry before they moved us to another room ,and there was nothing I can do about the wifi.
The trip notes stated that our deluxe coach tour bus had an onboard toilet, NOT, we had to make bathroom stops every time. There is no leg room between seats and very uncomfortable for all the time spent on the bus. We found ourselves rushing so not to miss the bus during our free time to explore, eat at an authentic restaurant, shop, and take photos (not enough free time).
Breakfast were very good, lunch in Montepulciano was excellent, and our tour guide Lucy was amazing. Overall it was a great trip, but I'm on the fence about using "On the go Tours" again.

I loved the 8-day fantasy tour in Italy, besides it was my first time traveling alone, I always had accompaniment, they picked me up and dropped me off at the airport, the different visits were with a guide and they also took us by bus. The hotels are excellent and the food too.

Wear comfortable shoes.
Clothing for hot land on these dates
Wear clothing or a cloth to cover your shoulders and knee-length clothing if you are going to enter churches.
Bring a minimum of cash in euros, sometimes they suggest tipping local or tour guides. Or if you crave something.

On the carrani website it includes the skip the line ticket to the Vatican museums. Does this tour include also?
