I went my first solo trip to indica surf school to learn surfing almost a year ago.. so far it's the most amazing experience I had in my life. The place is so beautiful and serenic . Indica surf school food is home cooked authentic managalore ...too good. All the surfers there are very well experienced and very supportive had to mention surfer Praveen who has helped me a lot in learning surfing and made me stand up on the surf board in one day also making me so comfortable on my first day itself

Surf School is probably a Scam.
I went for surfing to Indica Surf School in Feb 2021. I took 3 day course. Surf lesson and accommodation was good.
Just few days back I received a WhatsApp message from them regarding raising of funding.
I was interested so I called up local people at Mulki to ask about Dhruva's credentials. It turns out that he had taken money from few people and have not returned. I was also informed that he was arrested for financial fraud and was in lockup for 3 days.
Stay away from handing him your hard earn money it will never come back.

Sadly this is very disappointing to read and totally lacking in facts and we very much question the legitimacy of this. Please share with us the dates you booked and surfed with us and your name. It seems this is purely a ploy to tarnish and defame our Indica Surf School name and my personal name. It is a disturbingly very easy thing to make anonymous faceless reviews and baseless accusations At no stage in 2020 and 2021 has Indica Surf School, nor me personally, taken any funds for investment from anyone. If this is really true, please share screen shots of these WhatsApp messages that you purport to have, to our mail IDs - info@indicasurfschool.com and indicasurfschool@gmail.com. If you can verify these, then we will fully investigate your claims. We would also be very interested to know the names and other details of these other people you say have given over money.
We have our major goals of not just building our own Indica Surf School and Aquatic Sports Operations but we want to help build and drive the whole Aquatic Industry within India for the benefit of all India. We have our mission statement and our goals on our website which we invite everyone to read to understand our philosophy and driving force behind all we are doing. These accusations go completely against our morals, our ethos, our dreams and our passions. We strive to empower others and provide others the chance to change their future for the better.
It is always very disheartening and extremely hurtful when people think that this is acceptable and okay to write such untruths on open platforms where they remain anonymous. We hold professionalism, integrity, trustworthiness, truthfulness and loyalty as critical in all our operations and dealings.
Our focus is, and has always been, to exceed our aims and our mission statement. We strive to provide our guests and our surfers with the best, most professional, most comprehensive, safest, most enjoyable and unmatchable experiences throughout all of India. We will continue to strive towards these and welcome all of those who maybe reading this to come and experience this for yourself and make the decision after experiencing our Indica hospitality and Indica aquatic sports.
We have a passion and a dream for the whole industry. We want to see these industries grow and expand so more and more people can have the opportunity to try these sports and hopefully continue; that an increasing number of Indians have the chance to experience the amazing benefits of these sports; that we can help make the aquatic environment a safer environment for everyone; that we can help build the professionalism of the industries; that we can help train and develop people trained professionally in rescue techniques not only for the coast and ocean but to assist and provide help during monsoon season and flooding; we want to be at the forefront of making our aquatic environment safer and reducing unnecessary deaths and preventing deaths drownings and increase overall water safety and we can help provide. We also want to help boost and lift all India Aquatic Sports athletes so that we can see a growing number of Indian athletes competing at local, state, national and international competitions. We have also been hugely involved in offering opportunities to local youth and provide them with the opportunity of learning new skills, learning new sports and providing the chance to completely change their future and the future of their families. Many of these youth are now working in the surf industry, with us and also with other operations that without our commitment to providing them these opportunities they would not have had.
