Shocking TRIP!!!
Went on the VIP cruise last night and it was terrible waste of money and very disappointed. It was very clear advertised as 15.30-20.00 but came back in for 19:00 it gets worse was too many people on board. The food was shocking and left very very hungry it’s a rip off I was so disappointed.

The drinks were average you really need to change your write up as what your doing is false advertising. Please keep your money and look around as better quality around the area and for less money.

Too many people on it so not enough sunbeds

It was good as we go there first so had a choice of where to sunbathe. However half way through, we were told to move so others who did not have a sunbed could sunbathe. Sorry but not my problem. It does not state anywhere that you can only have a sunbed for half of the experience so we didn’t move. They cram as many people on as possible and there are not enough sun beds for all. Unlimited bar was good but food was not great.

Very disappointing but expensive cruise

Very disappointed when it was sold as a VIP cruise. Arrived and all the Sun beds were full and had to sit on benches. Too many people on the boat and it was not the single storey catamaran in the photo. Famagusta was a dot in the distance. Also the music was just the pumping music of a nightclub. Not relaxing at all. Don’t waste your money.

Don’t waste your money

Over booked and made those on sunbeds get off them halfway through so the extra people could go on them. In a mad rush to get wherever we were going that they stopped a long way from Famagusta even though it was part of the trip, was a dot in the distance. The other Catamaran was way in front of us so those on that would actually be able to take photo’s of the town. Back over an hour early, no need for that at all. Couldn’t get a drink 1st hour as due to speed was travelling at couldn’t stand up properly.
Food was a bit of salad with cottage cheese, coleslaw, cold roast potatoes, rice, pork meatballs and 1 chicken drumstick per person with stale bread no butter and no drinks served during lunch time
The only plus side was we got to see a dolphin and a baby turtle (we’ll some of us did) and had a go a paddle boarding but at £150 for 2people for less than 6 hours not recommended

Med 2 Catamaran cruise was excellent
We booked this Med 2 catamaran through TUI at Atlantica Sea Breeze .
We were picked up at 0900 on a Aircon coach with a member of cruise staff onboard .
We were taken to the harbour where we were required to walk down a gravel / Sandy road down to the harbours edge ( this could be awkward for some elderly or infirm ) , the staff were polite and helpful throughout our trip.
We chose the trip which included children although an Adults Only trip is available. Alcohol and soft Drinks were available before we left the harbour and throughout the trip.
Leaving the harbour we went up towards the border line of Famagusta ghost town , turning back down the coast to a short stop for about half hour where we had a swim in a cove which was refreshing.
We then returned to the harbour side for a quick stop to collect the food ready for our next stop.
Making our way around the coast to the Blue lagoon and caves to another cove where we anchored up for an hour , paddle boards released from the rear and others allowed to swim , swimming noddles were available to assist , before the food was served by staff consisting of Cous Cous , Rice , Salad , Roast potatoes , Chicken legs as well as a few other things , slices of cake also available.
Staff asked people using the forward bathing areas to change allowing others to use the bathing area.
Leaving the cove we then went away from the coastline out to sea where the Sails were put up .
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip . Even better still I met an old colleague I’ve not seen for over 15 years .
We xx were returned by an Aircon coach back to our hotel just after 1430 hours.

Staff were excellent throughout the trip .

This is not suitable for Disabled or Wheelchair users as toilets are situated downstairs using narrow wooden stairs in the hull areas either side of the catamaran .

Just a noisy booze cruise!

Was sold to us as a nice peaceful cruise without loud music and plenty of room to sunbathe and 3 snorkeling stops with a nice lunch included as well as drinks. As soon as we boarded we noticed the loud music and NO sunbeds. We spent the entire cruise sitting at a table in the shade, far too many people on the cataraman. People already knocking back the shorts at 9.30 am and as it turned out it was in fact just a booze cruise with loud music, the exact opposite to what we were sold and what we wanted. The lunch for me was1 spare rib with no meat on it, the smallest chicken drumstick I've seen and 2 stale pieces of stale bread with no butter. My partner had the cous cous and pasta, neither of which I eat. The staff were good and the snorkelling stops were good but that was about it, we would NEVER go on this particular trip ever again

Well worth the money

Tuesday 28th May booked the catamaran elite cruise for adults via our jet2holidays rep - Andy - it was everything he told us it would be. Picked up from our hotel and taken to Green Bay to board Mediterranean lll. As we board we were greeted by Lee and his team from a East Coast Cruises with a glass of champagne, from then on we were treated like VIPs. Pastries of different types and fresh fruits was also available. We had several stops for swimming and plenty of information about the coast line as we sailed up to Famagusta. The swim stops were amazing in the beautiful blue waters of Cyprus, even those not so confident could alight the boat via steps with swim aids if needed. The captain Samous (think that’s how he spelt his name) had good knowledge of currents and if it was save to swim. Lunch was served on board which was plentiful and varied. Drinks of all kinds were available from the bar throughout the trip and nothing was too much trouble for the team.

Returning to shore the captain put up the sails to give a very relaxed sail back giving us time to enjoy the views or to sunbathe - areas with shade were also available. The captain, his crew and the team from East Coast Cruises made the trip very memorable for me and my husband, well done guys 😃. Thanks from us both.
