My husband and I took this tour after booking with Sandals. Brad, our tour guide, was amazing. Friendly, and professional, he had clear communication and expectations for keeping us safe while having fun.
We rode on the left side of the road - a first for us but Brad was very clear in directing us as well as managing the other traffic.
We rode through curves and hills and finished at Pigeon Island - a must see and Saint Lucia’s national monument.
There is a driving test at the beginning to demonstrate that you can handle the scooter. Not everyone passes so be prepared to ride with a guide if you lack confidence and/or minimum skill levels.
In all I would highly recommend this tour if you’re adventurous and have some skill with scooters or electric bikes. It was very fun and lots of beautiful scenery.

Bryan & Germaine were excellent tour guides. Friendly, professional, safety-minded, knowledgeable, and FUN!! Our group of 3 couples had a great time motoring around the northwest side of the island, touring up in to the hills and catching some amazing views. We stopped a few different times for breaks and historical insights, and the last break at the beach near Pigeon Island, to take photos and grab some refreshments if you wanted.
Overall, great tour company to take excursion with. And Chris our shuttle driver was friendly and helpful as well. We were picked up/returned at our Sandals lobby.

Great tour!! Brad was our guide - he was awesome and very patient with teaching me how to drive my scooter! It was a short excursion so it didn’t take up the entire day leaving us the afternoon at the beach and pool. We got to see a lot of the beautiful island and hear about its history. Overall, it was great and we would definitely do it again.

My husband and I had an absolute blast on this tour. Our guide, Brad, was wonderful. The scooters did take a bit of getting used to...they do not handle like a dirt bike or motorcycle, but once you figure it out it's a fun experience. I would definitely do this again!!

Brad was an awesome tour guide! We had lots of fun on this tour and was the highlight of our trip. Was cool to be able to drive around in their towns and have that experience! Would recommend taking this tour was so much fun!

The electric scooters were very much fun to ride. We didn't get much of a verbal tour however because the helmets and traffic made it hard to hear. Also, the scooters don't turn like a regular motorcycle due to the wide tires. They take a little getting used to but once learned, were a lot of fun. We did see a bunch of the island and had fun scootering, though. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

I have a few things to say about this tour.
-these scooters are not like anything you have ever ridden before, they are elongated with fat tires. They do not turn like a motorcycle or other scooter.
- people need to know they are not easy to ride. The throttle is very touchy and they DO NOT turn like a regular scooter!
- you have to do a riding test before you are allowed to go, which is really good! A lot of people do no pass this riding test,(they end up on Segways) it is done in a gravel lot and you have to do a figure 8 before you can go.
- when we booked this it sounded like it was backroads and beaches. It is not! You do go to two beaches but you are riding on the actual roads and highways with all the traffic. It becomes very stressful! You follow the guide,but he is adept at riding these things and you are not! Also there are no shoulders to escape the traffic!
- do not do this tour if you are afraid of traffic and the left hand side of the road!
-we did have fun but it was stressful and I would only recommend this tour to people who are not easy stressed!
Our guide Bryan was pretty good, but I felt he should not have made any turns unless we could all make them at the same time (in busy traffic)!
I feel this tour description should be rewritten to let people know they are not driving off the beaten path and they are in heavy traffic on the left side of the road!

My daughter and I did this tour.we were accompanied by 2 excellent and experienced tour guides Brad and kymani. Travelling through winding roads, hills and valleys was truly an amazing experience. The tour guides were so skilled that we felt as though we glided through the picturesque countryside. I would recommend Brad and kymani anytime!

Brian was a patient, safe and friendly guide. Once we were on the roads, the scooters were pretty easy to manage. The guides made it very safe for us to navigate, even when there was traffic. It was a nice way to see the northern part of the island!
Be prepared for a learning curve at the training session. There were seven of us on this trip, and it took a good hour for training with the scooters. The training area, was actually a gravel parking lot and a bit tricky to maneuver around. So if you can manage that, you’ll be fine on the road! I didmisunderstand and thought we would actually be riding directly on the sand, thus the fat tires. Trip does not take you on sand. Only on the roads. Scenery was great, and all else was as described. The four people in my group agreed we were glad we did this trip!

Joined as a cruise excursion as a couple and part of a large group of c.15 people. Staff are professional and well trained and could not be more friendly. They are very conscious of safety.
Having read the reviews and description across multiple booking sites our impression was having ridden a push bike would be enough to set you off on the scooter. To put some balance into that, if you have ridden a motorcycle or scooter you would probably adapt well, there is a requirement to enter your road licence details alongside a disclaimer that you have experience of riding electric scooters.
To be clear the scooter is designed for road use and acceleration is quick and would take you to road speeds so it is important to have confidence and ideally prior experience of riding a motorcycle for your own road safety and others. A large portion of the group dropped out of the experience before starting having tried to calibrate themselves to riding in the practice car park and one was injured having lost control before getting out into the road.
This is not meant to put people off what is a great experience with fantastic staff but to encourage potential customers to understand better that it is unlikely to be an activity with no prior experience you may find easy and to consider carefully for your enjoyment and that of more experienced riders.
