Pucks glen is a beautiful and magical place to visit, it's so tranquil and peaceful.
It takes about an hour to walk the full circuit or you can take the short cut which cuts it in half.
We did the circuit clockwise but If we were to return be would probably do it anticlockwise as it is quite steep in some places.
It's definitely somewhere I'd love to again, possibly after the rain, as we visited on a very dry day.

Pucks Glen is an absolute gem. A light bit of exercise climbing to the top but fully worthy when you follow the magical stream down to the bottom. Astonishing views, magic around every twist and turn.
Take time to look at the views behind you.
Might not be suitable for those unsteady on your feet especially in the wet.

We had a lovely walk around Puck's Glen, the waterfalls are really pretty, me and my three children (aged 15, 13 and 11) enjoyed it a lot. And we saw a red squirrel too.

This is such a magical place. The walk was lovely, quite steep in places but we’ll worth the climb. Dark and mysterious, it looks like a film set, we loved the pretty waterfalls. Sturdy footwear is needed as it can get quite slippery. The circular walk takes you through a beautiful forest where you can spot red squirrel. An unforgettable experience

Absolutely Stunning!
What a beautiful walk on a sunny day.
Just wonderful.
So many different walks around the area.
Just make sure you have suitable footwear.

Absolutely spectacular scenery! It didn’t feel real, it was like a movie set! This is decent walk and has free ample parking. It is best to follow the trail clockwise so that you are climbing up the waterfalls and walking down the forest paths! Make sure you have suitable footwear as it is slippy and uneven at times.
Our family will cherish the memory of our time spent here and I for one will never forget this place!
There is nothing else to say but just go and see this for yourself if you are able to!

One of the most beautiful walks I have ever been on. You feel like you're in Lord of the Rings or some other fantasy realm. Especially great if it's recently rained.

Simply do not miss visiting this place if you’re in the area.
The walk and steepness shouldn’t challenge too many. We saw young children and some older visitors. Just pace yourself and drink in the scenery.
The place was magical. Our circuit took around an hour and was one of the best settings we’ve visited in Scotland.
There was an air of the Elfin Kingdom about the steep sided walls of the gorge. There are a number of waterfalls.
We were surprised how few visitors were there.
Highly recommended.

It was a great hike to the top if you go straight from the carpark. On way back down follew the stairs at the bench and itll lead you to the waterfall. Go left from carpark and its a shorter hike to the waterfall and pool. It's absolutley beautiful, a magical place to visit.

Is it safe to take my 10 month old in a sling?
CoeliacWarrior
Glasgow, UK39 bidrag
I've seen other walkers with their small children there, they just take it at a leisurely pace. There are handrails in the main glen part but not so much on the walk to that. It can be a little steep in places but not too bad. I wouldn't recommend taking your 10 month old if the weather is particularly hot that day, there are some parts on the walk to the glen which leave you wishing for some shade but the glen itself is lovely and cool. Hope that helps. :)
Is it suitable for prams?

Are there buses to pucks glen as we are not bringing our car
Barbora H

We found out that on Sundays there are no buses which would go that direction and therefore a local taxi provider runs a "taxi shuttle service" to the Benmore Botanic Garden, which costs £3 per person. We just simply went to the visitors advice centre and they recommended this service. Otherwise I think there are buses running the other days, but I am not sure how often. The taxi will bring you to the Botanic Garden and from there it's just a wee walk to the Puck's Glen.

Is there regular buses to pucks glen
FloriaP
London, UK78 bidrag
I took a bus from Dunoon which stopped by the diner at the bridge, a few minutes walk away from the start if the walk. I recall I took it from the foot passenger ferry terminal but can't remember the number if the bus

Can anyone tell me how long of a walk the different path options are? (and which one would be the shortest?)
We will have someone with us that needs to limit her walking however I am hoping one of the trails might be short enough to allow us to see part of Puck's Glen.

Is it alright for disabled person
Rcam28
56 bidrag
It would really depend on the disability, if a wheel chair is required id sadly say no as there are a few parts which require stepping over boulders, there are also some narrow paths and it can be a little muddy. Anymore questions just let me know :)

Is there a charge? Are dogs on lead allowed?
Mactravel53
East Riding of Yorkshire, UK501 bidrag
No charge made and it is beautifully maintained by forestry commission Scotland. Hats off to them.
Dogs can roam free on or off lead but taking a pooh bag and keeping the dogs under control, with lead if necessary, when passing walkers on the steeper and narrower sections is much appreciated and champions the cause of responsible dog ownership.
