We visited lovely Court Garden on a trip with Great British Wine Tours. It’s a fabulous little vineyard; a really personal feel to the place, and the owners and staff obviously love what they do so much. Hugo is a charismatic host, entertaining and passionate about what he does, he had everyone in stitches as he taught us all about how they make their wines. Speaking of which the wine is absolutely delicious too!
So much nicer visiting here than some of the larger, more corporate vineyards.

We had a lovely time at Court Garden. Apart from the beautiful, peaceful surroundings, there’s a charming, family-run feeling to the place. We toured the vineyard with Howard, the owner, who was a real card. The tasting was fun, too: we bought some bottles of the excellent sparkling wine to take home with us.
Overall, it was a markedly different experience to visiting e.g. Chapel Down or the larger English wineries, and it was all the more fun as a result.

Lovely, family run business who do a lovely tour. The owner, Howard, had great chats with us even though we arrived 20 minutes early and then handed us over to Chris, who gave us a really informative tour of the vineyard. The tour ended with a tasting session and then Howard showed us a lovely country walk back to Ditching via the windmill. Definitely recommend!

The owner who conducted the vineyard tour is hilarious, the weather wasn't on our side but it could have been worse. Our group was huge, we were told this was due to a "technical glitch". I wasn't thrilled about having to wait in the rain for the latecomers, to hold up a huge party that managed to get there on time for the selfish few is never acceptable.
The wine tasting at the end was enjoyable, though there was a definite lack of ambience in the windowless tasting shed. Maybe investing in a building with a large terrace overlooking the vineyard (like Bolney) is the way forward?

A fantastic tour of the vineyard - fun and informative, followed by a tasting in the barn. Everyone spoke with such passion about their vineyard and wines, a great afternoon in the Sussex countryside - easy to see how they have won so many awards with the incredible wines to taste.

Visited here using a Virgin Voucher & was really impressed. The whole set up was brilliant & very informative.
The wine was fantastic & very tasty. We had to bring some home of course!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a wine tour.

The weather wasn’t on our side for the vineyard tour but we had a fantastic day regardless! The owner and his son are very charismatic and funny so even in wellies and umbrellas (which they provided) in the cold we still learnt loads about the vineyard and of course got to try some very generous tasters of the sparkling wine too.
Really great vineyard, I’ll certainly be back in the warmer months and hopefully do some picking too!

Absolutely loved this little Vinyard. The sparking wines blow most of the competition away and the stills are pretty grand too. Family run and fun, everyone is so invested in enjoying making wine and letting others enjoy their fruity bounty. Outstanding

We were very, very impressed with the efficiency and cleanliness of this vineyard - not to mention the quality of the wines produced! We were on a day tour with Great British Wine Tours, and this was the first stop of the day. A young lady met us, spoke very knowledgeably about the various grapes being grown and was very clear in what she said, as 6 members of the tour of 8 persons were Norwegian (my husband and I were the other two). Although mid-September, they had just started picking some of the grapes, although most will not be ready until early October, she said. The tasting arrangements were superb. They had a mat, with four circles printed with the names of the four wines we were to try, and four champagne flutes set ready on the mats above the names. We enjoyed all four wines and bought two bottles. We did already know Court Garden wines, having ordered from them online previously. Their wine maker, Hugo, was very busy steam cleaning the big stainless steel vats for the incoming grapes, but still had the time and courtesy to answer questions. This is a very impressive vineyard, which in our opinion, produces really very fine wines.

There’s little here of the usual trotting out of the wine marking process, but it’s freely available if you want to ask, instead Howard will take you thru a potted history of the site, the farm, the vineyard, the opera shows and much more besides. The site is small but beautiful and if the weather is favourable this is an idyllic setting. The tasting compromises of 4 glasses of high quality sparkle and as a vineyard tourist you’ll enjoy a discount off anything you purchase. This is well worth a visit and repetitions.
