This review is about Kingston Winery alone not the tour. The winery is over commercialised and poor value for money. The advertise USD 50 per person for a 5 wine tasting. Then they add tax and try to add a tip so it’s USD60
The wines are ok, nothing outstanding. The wine talk is formulaic. The paired food is in fact 10g cheese, 1/2 strawberry and 2 tiny balls of chocolate. All in all it’s a rip off. We ate a 400g and 600g steaks, sides and an entire bottle of wine in the world’s 4th ranked steakhouse in central Santiago for the same money.
Give it a miss. There are much better and more authentic wineries in the Casablanca Valley.

Kingston Family Vineyards provided an unforgettable experience! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing visit. The staff was incredibly attentive, and our waiter, Guillermo, was very knowledgeable about the wines and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. We indulged in the five-course wine-paired lunch, and the food was fresh, light, and delicious, perfectly complementing the outstanding wines. We will definitely be back!

5 star experience - from start to finish. We booked the lunch tasting + tour (group of 6) and it was terrific. Our guide (Alex) was knowledgeable, professional and insightful - everything you hope for in a tour. The wine was top shelf, food pairings were fantastic and the view was stellar. Highly recommend getting to know this vineyard ... and their wines :)

Amazing winery tour and tasting lunch experience. Expert sommelier sharing the wine making process with full immersion and even a barrel tasting in the cellar. Lunch menu was 5 courses with pairings - each better than the last. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the Casablanca region.

Best views of any vineyard in the area!
We signed up for a wine paired lunch that does not disappoint. The wines are complex and smooth, and are thoughtfully paired with fabulous flavors and plates that keep coming from the kitchen. The staff is knowledgeable about their wines and the rich history of the vineyard. We were treated to a barrel tasting of their Syrah that is incomparable in taste and experience. It was an absolute delight to dine while looking out across the Casablanca valley, but the tasting room and salon is also something to experience in and of itself. The building is an architectural gem and is worthy of an award. A perfect day trip from Santiago, we will definitely be back!

Great wine, fantastic facilities, and the best staff! We came for a tour, tasting, and lunch, and everything was fantastic all around. Hanna was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Kingston for anyone traveling to Casablanca, Santiago, or Valparaiso. This has definitely been a highlight of our trip, and we will be back on our next trip to Chile! And there were 180 degrees of amazing views!

The Kingston Family winery in the spectacular location of the beautiful Casablanca hills is well worth visiting. It’s a small production winery and it was one of most amazing winery visits I’ve visited. We had an outstanding lunch and tour which was not only breathtaking but also deeply informative, allowing us to witness firsthand the passion and expertise behind their wines. They are also unique in that offer a wine club for overseas visitors to obtain their wine directly from the winery. We were so fortunate that Courtney the current Kingston family owner of the winery joined us remotely to chat with us about her vision and the Chilean wine industry. Thank you also to Sarah and Hannah, fourth and fifth generation Kingstons and Marco and Eladio for their hospitality. Highly recommend!

Incredible visit to Kingston Vineyards. Hanna was our tasting guide and she was incredible - warm, informative, and funny. The grounds are beautiful and the tasting room/barrel room were really well designed. Would highly recommend!

A visit to the hills of the Casablanca valley and to the house of Kingston was the highlight of a packed visit to Santiago and the region. I did the wine pairing dining experience. Spectacular service and superb culinary skills displayed by Chef Alejandro and his team. The pairings were wonderful to highlight the Sauv blanc, chardonnay, pinot, and Syrah rose. Having experienced similar afternoons in regions in Australia, France, Veneto, Tuscany, Napa, and others, Kingston makes clear that Chile and its Casablanca valley (among others) are world class. The experience at Kingston was so relaxing, featuring beautiful views from the hill, and I left satisfied and with several take-home bottles.

What is the cost of a wine tasting without the tour?

Hi Lizzie,
You may elect to just do a tasting without a tour. The cost of a classic tasting is 20.000 CLP per person and a premium tasting is 26.000 CLP per person.
Currently, we do not currently offer wines by the glass. But we do welcome you to buy a bottle to drink on our terrace overlooking the Casablanca valley!

A única coisa que pedimos é que você faça uma reserva através de email ou o nosso site porque somos uma vinícola pequena, familiar e não podemos garantir que vamos sempre ter disponibilidade sem reserva. Nós podemos oferecer a vocês o nosso Passeio e Degustação, que começa com um passeio de nossa adega e termina com uma degustação de vinhos em nosso terraço com vista para o pitoresco Vale de Casablanca. Este passeio dura cerca de 1,5 horas e leva um preço de $19.000 CLP por pessoa incluindo impostos (menos crianças que são gratuitos até os 15 anos).
Na nossa página web você pode encontrar um mapa com indicações de como chegar à vinícola, e a duração da viagem, desde Santiago ou Viña del Mar/Valparaíso. Uma vez lido, por favor, deixe-nos saber se você quer marcar uma reserva e para qual dia e hora.
