The experience is nice but coming to buy the tea, it's fake!! All sugar, hardly any tea. If you want to go for the experience it's nice but don't waste your money. The sit down experience is free.

Nice place to visit. But do not buy their tea or coffee. I bought their saffron tea: it should be 100% organic, it s just sugar inside. Nothing compared to the real saffron tea.

Excellent visit! Purchased so much coffee and tea to bring back home and share. The folks at Satria were super friendly and helpful!

Absolutely loved the lush tropical surroundings and we had the most beautiful lady give us a large variety of coffees and teas. And to top it off you get to see a Kopiluwak!! The coffee made from the droppings off this(Cibet it’s called) is the best hands down 😉
A must see destination when visiting beautiful Bali.

The visit was nice, seeing all those plants we use but never saw as a plant.
The shop is something else. In effect, they let you try the teas/coffees they sell. You buy them at an incredibly expensive price but, well, you do not have those at home...
So you buy them, take them home and surprise! A lot of sugar and a taste that has nothing to do with what you tried.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!

This place is a stop on some of the guided tours. They give you a whole bunch of teas and coffees to sample.
Even if you like any of the coffees or teas, do not buy anything!
Basically the coffees are a mixture of a lot of coconut sugar/other additives and a tiny bit of coffee. When I opened the avocado coffee, I saw white powder that smelled like vanilla with a few specks of brown. Now how is that coffee? The teas are also grinded with sugar and other stuff to a fine powder. What's even worse is that none of their products for consumption, including the chocolate, have any nutritional information or ingredients list. How is this ok, I don't know.
This place is a total tourist trap, geared to reel in the tourists with the nice tasting coffees and teas, only to swindle them by selling them garbage products. None of the "coffees" or "teas" that I bought tasted anything like the samples. There were also no locals shopping or having tea/coffee here, so that tells you something.

NOT a tourist trap.
If you are travelling with small children, this is the perfect stop. The tea and coffee plantation is nothing like a proper plantation. It's more like a museum plantation walk through, which suits young children really well. They don't need to walk forever to find the vanilla, turmeric, cocoa and ginseng plants. This kept the kids engaged and asking questions. The luwak coffee making process was also a short walk through and kids are able to roast coffee beans on a traditional stove. Again, great learning experience for kids but obviously they cant be making all the coffee they sell in that small hut. Coffee and tea tasting was lovely. Don't know how pregnancy friendly the teas and coffees are. Do your research regarding what you can and can't have before you go because pregnancy diets vary culture to culture. We bought coffee. The coffee seems to be legitimate and not instant coffee as there is residue that instant coffee would otherwise not leave. Bought the rice tea, this is not sugar and powder. It actually has no sugar and has red rice granules. Apparently, this tea is great for your bones. All other teas, they sell tea with sugar and the same tea with a less sugar option. Would be great if there were expiry dates and other information on the teas but I'm pretty confident with my own taste buds and sense of smell. There were no expiry dates in the past and our ancestors relied on their sharp senses.
The tour costs nothing. The tea tasting and the views are exceptional. There is a distinct flavour to all the teas and coffees. The Luwak coffee cost is basically nothing. Teas and coffees at the shop are reasonably priced. Tea and coffee tasting is educational and so is the tour. You get all this for free. I can't understand some of these reviews. We walked away relaxed and with the whole family being a little more knowledgeable.
Yes it seems as though the driver promotes this place for some benefit they are getting, but if you purchase nothing, it's not out of your pocket. No one forces you to buy anything.

Hi, I visited Satria Agroeisata. I bought lemongrass tea. There is no instruction in the box how to use it. Could you please tell me how to use tea? Why the tea is just white powder?

We also bought tea from lemongrass. We do not know what kind of white powder it is, so we did not use tea. Like all other products ... ((
