I think the more in advance you book the better since the boat only takes small groups - however, i recommend still trying regardless as he may be able to fit people in. With respect to the swimming, life jackets are available and fine to use since you are snorkelling at the surface. My daughter wore one as did another older woman on our trip and both were happy.

Hi! A bit late for your holiday but perhaps helpful to others. You must go to Pigeon Point to start and end your tour. It is easy to get there by car or taxi. All equipment is provided...bring sunscreen! This was a fabulous snorkelling tour with most of our time in the water - the guide was very knowledgable and we were all in good shape to keep up as he took us on extensive explorations.

We made a stop at the Nylon Pool too, but as the wind and current conditions were too challanging for some of our smaller children were went up the coast to a good snorkeling site with calmer conditions. But I believe the thing we appreciated the most was the customer oriented approach Duane has. This was not a standardized tour with standardized stops, histories and jokes and we could ask all our questions about Tobago, the snorkeling, history etc etc. And the fact that he did not take us to the Buccoo reef under the circumstances gave a very solid and safe feeling!
