Our guide, Hitomi, was amazing!! We learned so much, saw areas of Tokyo that we wanted to see and also discovered hidden treasures we didn't know existed! We had the most amazing first day in Tokyo with her. Highly recommend! Booking was easy and very responsive as well. We will book another tour next time we come to Japan.

We LOVED our Tokyo full day highlights tour with Keiko. She was amazing and we loved spending the day with her learning about Japanese history and seeing the sights of Tokyo. Keiko went over and above all day with our family and also gave us some great recommendations of restaurants, food, shops and other places to enjoy while we are in Tokyo. We wish we could spend more time with her. Thank you so much Keiko!

Our tour guide Keiko was amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable
She took us around the Tokyo markets,temples and ecplain all the cultures and history with very good English

We had a great experience! Rie, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable and friendly. She catered to our interests in business, culture, food, politics and walking vs train preferences. This made it feel truly custom to us. We did this the first day we arrived so Rie also helped settle us into Tokyo, which was in of itself super valuable. I highly recommend this especially Rie!

Keiko was am amazing guide. Great way to see key sites , understand the difference between shrines and temples and to get a basic understanding ofJapanese culture for a first Tokyo trip including navigating the metro. Highly recommend.

Wonderful full day tour with Kei! We covered a lot of ground and learned so much. From the history of Japan to modern day culture, the tour was wonderful. We were able to pace ourselves and tailor the tour as we went. Kei even spent so time with us to show us some hidden gems near our hotel. I highly recommend Backstreet Guides for anyone looking to explore Japan!

Had a private tour with Yoko of Yanaka and Tsukiji. Yoko was amazing, kind, and provided a lot of great information. We loved our time with Yoko and would highly recommend going with her again!
