A real highlight of our holiday. Jonathan and Chrysa are charming hosts, with an incredible knowledge and passion for what they do.
After being picked up from our hotel in Roda, we spent a very enjoyable morning walking through their beautiful olive grove up in the hills, with plenty of stops on shaded seating, whilst Jonathan shared stories of life on Corfu, and explained the history of olive cultivation, how olive oil production has evolved and future challenges.
Next the olive oil tasting - we learnt so much about how to identify and store quality olive oil…and what to avoid!
The morning finished with a delicious, homemade, meze lunch and red wine from their own vines. Highly recommend, if you are visiting the north of Corfu.
