Everybody heads for Pentre Ifan as it gets more press coverage but this is just as impressive with fabulous views out over Cardigan Bay.
The heading is wrong - the correct spelling s Drybedd - it's Welsh - obviously - and it's the name given to a three legged milking stool which the henge depicts - of the history - who knows ?

Wonderful setting for bronze age burial site. Supposedly aligned with pentre ifan and Cairn ingle. The walk to it worth every step

This is a cromlech situated about half a mile down a footpath to the south of the Newport-Moylgrove road. It is one of the more impressive prehistoric remains in the area in a beautiful spot near the top of a hill. There are views up to Carn Ingli and beyond. Parking is available in Moylgrove and Ceibwr bay (also worth a visit). We walked from the latter, then up from the coastal path at the Witches Cauldron. The man at the farm was friendly enough, though we stuck to the defined footpath. We returned by the road to the bay.

I love this spot, very quiet and off the beaten track, even some of the locals don't know they're here. Well worth popping to have a look, the shape of the stone traces the mountain behind which is quite cool and something we saw a lot of when we visited Inca sites in Peru. Lovely walk from here to the coast which is well worth doing, but don't accidentally go into the farm on the other side of the road as he doesn't seem very fond of walkers.
