Virtually impossible to review, it almost drags you along. Sensational, every bit of it. A must do if you are in a postio to put a few days into it.

This trail is gorgeous! It's rolling hills up and down cliffs and varied terrain were fantastic. I wish I had more time to explore the trail.

You have your water bottle, cold cut sandwiches on you as you can not buyithete - lack of kiosks- and the one kiosk you find is extremely expensive. Tiring walk and car park charges too high

A great path for viewing the coast, including dunes and 2 beaches. Scenery is amazing. Paths alternate from flat to a little challenging. Worth the climb.

Stunning part of the country and coastline. It had long been an ambition to visit the historic Carreg Wastad point.

The park authority suggests a circular walk from Llanwnda, but on arrival there is no car park and narrow roads. Fortunately, a very kind gentleman allowed us to park on his property so long as we didn't block the farm gates.

Rugged coast not for the fainthearted and could be challenging, however the sight of seals and pups in the first cove are a must (the kindly landowner advised we took a slight detour of the alloted path to see them).

Then a pair of dolphins in the bay leaping up.

Carreg Wastad point is marked by a memorial stone. Then follow the park authority's path along the coast until you reach a white cottage and head inland again.

On the main road, the path marked "Not suitable for motors" takes you back to Llanwnda.

3 hr circular, beautiful coastline, well worth it!

Excellent path conditions, obviously still going to be mud, rocks and puddles with undulations.
Spectacular views in all directions.
Do a little, do a lot or anything in between!
No safety fence for those who want the full safety experience.

A beautiful walk and very well signposted. Lots of ups and downs, so you need to be relatively fit and agile. The views are outstanding. Well worth the effort.

Following the relaxation of Covid rules in April we realised that the 186 mile trip we had booked in January would go ahead. We had all our accommodation booked and also took the precaution of booking our evening meals in advance in case there was a lack of places to eat in the small villages where we were staying. We decided to walk from north to south as the guide books suggested that the earliest walks were some of the hardest, so it seemed logical to tackle those when we were "fresh" others take the view that you get fitter as you go along so do that bit last.
We used a company called Walk A Long Way to transport our luggage, this meant we travelled only with a day sack.Colin was a huge help, as a long distance walker himself he had lots of useful tips and local knowledge. The first three days were certainly tough but the scenery was absolutely stunning at every turn there was something different to marvel at. The nature of coastal walking requires a lot of ups and downs which are challenging and this was the same thorough out the whole of the route, but the steepest climbs are definitely at the beginning. We took a break from walking for a day in St Davids which is a lovely city. In truth the path around Milford Haven wasn't as nice but once beyond that area the scenery improved again and we found the walking much easier, still lots of up and downs but not quite as steep.
Unfortunately during our walk he weather took a turn for the worse and we did struggle for three days in the high winds and rain but the path was always easy to follow, well signposted and we never felt in any danger of getting lost.
We stayed mainly in b and b accommodation or local pubs, every one was good and one or two were really excellent, what did not alter was the warm welcome we received everywhere we went. Many places had spent lockdown refurbishing their premises and we felt really bad turning up in muddy boots and wet clothes when they had just painted and replaced carpets! At no point did we feel unsafe due to Covid, accommodation was scrupulously clean and every place we stayed observed the Welsh Covid rules. (I will review the best ones individually)
We completed the whole 186 miles of the walk in 12 days, we are not particularly fast walkers as we are now both 61, and we felt this pace was comfortable for us. The scenery, the wild flowers and the wild life, seals, gannets and stone chats were amazing. Even the bad weather days gave us something different to experience with crashing waves and white foam blowing on shore in the wind.
This is our 6th long distance walk in the UK and is definitely up there as one of our favorites, it is a stunning and very varied walk that is challenging at times but worth the effort.

5 mile walk to St Non's Chapel then onto St David's cathedral, sadly the cathedral was closed due to covid, but the coastal path was amazing and superb views a must to experience Pembrokeshire
