We were on Alinossos and wanted a boat trip. There are 3 of these wooden boats doing, as far as I can tell, similar but slightly different trips. We chose this one primarily because it should have involved a trip to the outer islands to see the Monestry - the other trips by design go no further than the waters between Alinossos itself and the nearby island of Paristera. Half our party don't swim (or don't swim well) and this seemed the best with that in mind. Unfortunately on the day the waves were too high to go that far and we basically stuck to the near Paristera waters anyway - in turned into a sequence of stops for swimming plus lunch. Lunch was good and for the two of us who swim, it was a fun day. I think for the others it started getting a bit boring - which is why I've knocked off a star and perhaps could have knocked off two.
I have doubts as to whether anybody seems Monk seals on these trips although Dolphins would have been nice. I assume you need to actually cross towards the outer islands to see either. We saw no more than a Cormorant to two. The Monastery would have been good as an extra and to give some variety. I would suggest Captain Pakis has a thought about an alternative plan B. However with that in mind, I would do it again.

Επιλέξαμε να παμε στο θαλάσσιο πάρκο με την γοργόνα (το ονομα του πλοιου) του καπετάν Πακη. Όλα ήταν υπεροχα. Εξηγούσε, μας έδειχνε τοπία, μας πήγε στο μοναστήρι της Κυρα Παναγίας όπου μας περίμεναν οι μοναχοί με ένα μικρό κέρασμα. Ετοίμασε πολύ ωραίο μεσημεριανό και βουτουσαμε από την γοργόνα στα κρυστάλλινα γαλαζοπρασινα νερά τόσο στην Περιστερα, στον Άγιο Δημήτριο οσο και στο νησί της κυρα Παναγίας. Εξαιρετικός καπετάνιος μαζί με τον Κωστή τον βοηθό του μας έκανε το ταξιδι αξέχαστο. Καθολη τη διαρκεια του ταξιδιου πας προσφερε νερα, αναψυκτικα και μπορουσαμε να κανουμε και φραπεδακι ή τσαι. Ξεκινήσαμε 10:00 από το Πατητηρι και επιστρεψαμε στις 18:00. Τον συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!!!

Trip with Stella Cruises departing from Patitiri. Cost 50 euros per person without lunch. Stop in 3 places to take a 30 'stop bath, then lots of navigation and a long stop of 2 hours in Steni Vala for lunch. From my point of view it adds nothing to the beauty of Alonnisos.

Amazing trip, left at 10am, 2 swims then travelled to St Anna’s Monastery, where the priest offers a tour/talk. Food amazing. Another swim then arrived back at port at 5:30pm. Saw dolphins…..amazing. Worth noting that everything is included in your price, food and admission into the monastery. Also Capt. Pakis has to pay a lot of port charges these are all included in your price. You can of course request a private charter but then it would cost you more. The boat has plenty of space, we had around 15 people on board and it was fine. Also Capt. Pakis is not responsible for the weather and whether you see any marine wildlife, namely dolphins. You will normally see the dolphins later in the afternoon 3 ish, but you need to keep your eyes peeled. Highly recommend.

It is an incredible island, very wild. Its roads are dangerous and it is necessary to drive on them if you want to enjoy the island. Beautiful beaches.

The full day cruise was amazing with captain Dimitris from Konstantinos Cruises, the whole excursion schedule was followed, we stopped 3 times for swimming at beaches with green and clear water as well as at the wreck, we got very close to the blue cave even though it was a bit rough , we were treated to a wide variety of fruits, we could get ribs, ouzo, etc. the walk to the island of Pristera, it was magical in the waves, unique deserted beaches, amazing natural scenery! We were offered masks to see the bottom of the sea. The cruise will be unforgettable!

We booked three days in advance to go on a mermaid ride and captain Mr. Pakis because of the good reviews we had read about his experience.
We noticed that the island had high winds these days, however we were not informed that the route had been modified and included much less than what was originally offered at the price of 70 euros per person that we had prepaid. Besides, we had been asked to get separate tickets a day before to enter the national marine park (zone A), but no one called us so that we did not go ahead with this purchase as the boat would not be able to enter this zone due to of the winds.
We ended up staying with the park tickets in hand, and requested a refund from albedo travel (€140), as the corresponding tour that would eventually take place in other agencies was half price.

One of the nicest activities that is definitely worth doing while on vacation in Alonissos is definitely a day trip by boat to the national marine park of Alonissos. It has many options to make this wonderful sea trip with big boats, boat rental and speed boat. We chose the speedboat of Nikos and Marianna Valta. We chose this way because with big boats you don't have the immediacy of the sea like you do with a small boat, we didn't rent a boat to go by ourselves because the costs were almost the same as the speedboat and we would have searched for where to go, we would have lost time and maybe we didn't see everything we should have and if I remember a year in Lefkada when we rented a boat and the propeller touched a stone a bit, they put us in and we changed the entire propeller and our ride came out to around 500 euros. But with the speedboat and having Nikos take us everywhere, a wonderful person, not only did we not waste time, we didn't worry about where we were going, we just enjoyed the ride and had fun with the waves of the sea and the beauties of the area. We swam in the blue cave, on the island of Kyra Panagia, we went up to the Monastery of Kyra Panagia, we went around the island of Peristera, we swam at the shipwreck and Nikos asked us why we haven't been to the island of Alonissos and we swam where we hadn't been by car .The money was 75 euros per person the same as the big boat while the rental boats were 140 euros plus fuel. I should also note that with the boat alone you cannot go to the island of Kyra Panagia because it is not allowed.

Καλημέρα σας. Επειδή πρόκειται ν/α επισκεφτούμε το νησί τον Αύγουστο, θα ήθελα κάποιες πληροφορίες σχετικά με το θαλάσσιο πάρκο. Έχουμε δύο κορίτσια 7,5 χρονών και αναρρωτιέμαι αν αξίζει γιατί οι απόψεις μεχρι στιγμής που΄εχω διαβάσει διίστανται... Ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων. (και εννοείται πως οποιαδήποτε αλλη πληροφορία σχετικά με το νησί θα μας βοηθούσε πάρα πολύ.)

Hello,
I'm going to Alonissos with my boyfriend and another couple of friends in august (from 22 to 28).
I red on my lonely planet that you organize boat or kayak around little Alonissos' islands. We would like to spend one night and two days in camping with your kayak or boat. Do you any travel as well?
If not have, do you have any travelo around the islands? Do you think it's better buy a travel since know?
I'm intersted to know prices of excursion of 1 or 2 days (we are interested in sea, snorkeling and harbour seal).
