Looked forward to spending a day on a boat to go to Balos with my wife on our anniversary trip decided to give this a shot. We are staying in Chania so had to arrange an expensive/long transfer to the harbor to get onboard the boat. When we drove 2 hours to get there they let us know when we got there that they canceled due to weather. However it is not the fact that it was the weather I get that it’s a safety issue. It’s the professionalism of not looking at the forecast before and letting guests know ahead of time. We arrived to find two other families that endured the same experience our previous captain let us know the night before not as we track across the whole island finally arrive and oh looks like the weather is bad sorry guys! We did receive a refund but it ruined our day. Crete is a windy island and if you book with this company make sure you don’t drive all the way out there before they cancel on you!

I wanted to give a nice souvenir to my wife and our son.
I booked a private boat trip to Gramvousa and Balos. The Lady with whom I made the Reservation (at the small port of Falassarna) was very kind and clearly explained the different options. I chose the one that seemed most reasonable to see two beautiful places in peace, namely the exit lasting 5 hours in the morning.
The speedboat that was put at our disposal was, I think, for 8 people and so we had all the available space on board. Drinks were in abundance and, in my opinion, of more than adequate variety.
The skipper, Iannis, was kind and very helpful and thanks to his experiences we were able to visit the two beautiful places in peace.
It was worth it.

It pains me to give only 2 out of 5 but that truly is fair for our experience. Communication was poor with phone calls and in app messages getting no response until 11.20pm the night before our 10am booking which really was poor.
The activity was unsafe and should have been cancelled by the operator. The weather conditions were dangerous with strong winds and waves built up to half a meter. We were instructed to stay in each other's wake to make the ride easier but the conditions were far too wild. By the end of the trip the operators were so stressed out!
A couple of the jetski were evidently old. The compartments take on water so don't bother storing anything. One couple who came off the craft almost lost it as the kill switch didn't work immediately.
The weather conditions slowed us down so much that we didn't get to go to our second destination.
An extremely expensive activity one expects so much more from.

It really was a wonderful experience, the views where breathtaking, great way to see Balos, having fun on jet skis, the staff where very helpful, and considered and met everyones needs … l did many activities in Crete, but this one was by far the best experience !!!

Excellent trip to Balos and Gramvousa. We just did the 3 hour private cruise from Falasarna to Gramvousa and Balos. Our captain Yannis was very polite and fun. The views were spectacular and the beaches were totally worth it. The best way to visit these beaches with little kids. Recommend it!

5 of us were mulling over walking down the path to Balos bay then looked at the ferry and finally plumped for a private cruise for less than the ferry and man were we lucky.
Started at 9 for two hours and Got to Balos lagoon ( ignore the miseries that say it’s not worth it, trust me there can be few better beaches in the world) around 9.30 and there were already quite a few people there but not too busy. Our skipper Manos was and is BRILLIANT- looked after us, made it fun, taught us stuff and the girls also thought he would make good husband material. We had an amazing time in Banos and then Gramvousa ( my favourite) . Just us at the pace we wanted.
On the way back Manos did a few turns at speed, nothing dangerous just fun
This will be the best day of an amazing holiday I am certain, we went down to the beach afterwards where the same company gave us some extra time on the jet skis which were also a great laugh
Thank you Manos, if you ever read this and end up in oxford you are welcome at our house

Vraiment superbe moment avec deux personnes vraiment au petit soin.
Embarquement au petit port de Falassarna à 10h.
30 minutes de bateau. Arrivé à Gramvousa. Choix entre baignade ou montée jusqu'à la citadelle dans le temps imparti de 1h.
Départ pour Balos. 1h sur place. Dépose au plus près que le bateau puisse faire, donc au choix soit vous laissez vos sacs au bateau et vous nager autour, soit vous allez faire un tour près de l'autre versant en marchant dans l'eau.
Retour à l'embarcadère en 30 min vers 13h.
Je vous recommande cette activité sans hésiter!!!

We had an absolutely amazing jet ski safari to Balos with my 15-year-old son. The trip was filled with fun and adventure, and we enjoyed every single moment. Special thanks to our young guide, Manus, with the beautiful eyes, who made the experience extra special. He was incredibly skilled, helpful, and had a wonderful ability to engage both adults and teenagers.
Balos is an absolute paradise, and experiencing it from a jet ski was nothing short of spectacular. We felt safe and well-guided the entire way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable water adventure.

Che io sappia sono 40€ 15min e 50€ 20min. Poi a salire con i tempi i prezzi mantengono un certo vantaggio ma non ricordo le cifre.
