Did not find interestingly. The boast of deers is just talks. We could see only 2 deers which was enclosed

The entry ticket is 30 per person, with separate tickets for Rock garden is for 10 rupees, Aquarium is for 20 rupees, Snakes are for 30 rupees. With just a total of 90 rupees i had a great experience and exposure to the animal world.
I really enjoyed the zoo, although it's small with less animals but it's worth it.
Nice place to spend time with lots of birds, snakes, aquatic life, as well as deer and leopard in the form of animals. There is also a cactus garden and a lot of beautiful flowers. Very clean and hygienic. Overall a very good place to spend some time or have a picnic. There is also a nice garden with fountain and colorful plastic art work near he entrance. Will definitely recommend visiting this place.
Food is not allowed inside, even water bottles though allowed they take a rs.10 deposit so that we do not litter inside the zoo

This place falls just at the juncture of Dehradun Mussoorie.
Have a variety of Birds in Aviary (even Ostrich).
Has some Deers and a Leopard ,a collection Reptiles and a Aquarium.
An hour to 1.5 hrs in my view is sufficient.
A word of caution--if you wish to buy any eatables from the restaurant located in the Premises, do so if you are inn dire nee of it. We paid Rs 120 for a 15-20 Pcs of French Fries (equivalent to Small Fries in Mc Donalds)

A small but well maintained zoo. Can be covered in 2-3 hours. INR 30 for entry and INR 50 extra for the aquarium. Further extra charges for the Cactus area, which we didn't visit.
Aviary area houses the main exhibits. We saw pheasants, parrots & turkeys. It was a pleasant surprise to see some vultures, which are becoming extinct in India. It was quite sad, however, to realise that these birds who are used to soaring so high in the sky are kept confined to such a small area where they can't even spread their wings fully.
Aquarium appears to be overpriced.
Very few mammals. There are a few varieties of deer. We did see a leopard but it was pacing up and down the breadth of its cage, obviously agitated at being kept captive in a small space.
While there's enough noise being made about wearing masks, most of the visitors were not paying heed to it.
There's ample parking space available.

Nice small zoo for kids. Though the place is small they have mamy animals to experience.

There are several birds and some other animals in the zoo. It is small compared to many others, but worth a visit. The whole area is well maintained. There is an aquarium and a reptile house as well. One should take a separate ticket for visiting the aquarium though. There is adequate space for parking and staff to manage the in & outgoing vehicles. There is a fun park area for kids as well.

The zoo was really clean and very well maintained. The reptiles and the aquarium was fantastic. However i didnt see many bigfer animals like the tiger or elephant which would attract the kids more.
It was a nice experience though.

Previously it was a very small area having many deer and known as Malsi Deer Park. But in last 2-3 years it has transformed from deer park to a mini zoo. Variety of small animals are added. But I don’t understand the ticketing system. You have to purchase separate ticket for entry, for parking and for Fish Aqurium. No doubt the zoo has the best aquarium with very rare species of fishes. Apart from that aviary is also attractive. Besides deer and Crocodile no big animals are there. I heard that recently reptile section has opened with some snakes.

This park is a small zoo in dehradoon but is good for enjoying nature and animals. There are lot of animals there leopard being one of them. Early mornings or late afternoons are better.

Yes. Entry ticket is required. But you can easily skip this place as it is just a waste of time. Entry ticket charges should be around 50 rupees or so.
