I've been to Niphon each year for a few years now. My trips to Phuket keep me in suits for work back at home. Excellent quality & no need to haggle. Just good service & an honest appraisal of what you need, which may differ from what you think you want. Niphon is the real deal & not at all like the constellation of other 'tailors' on the island. Those guys will probably be cheaper, but you don't get anything like the fit or quality. My wife also has had jackets made & in the past has had a ball gown made & has been very happy too.

My wife and I came to Phuket with one of their biggest holidays right in the middle of our time here (Sangkran). Many other tailors told me they couldn’t accommodate me given the days they’d be taking off for the holiday. Niphon was honest and told me it would be tight, but he’d try his best to send me home with my suits and shirts. He was able to get 2 of my 3 suits completed and all 4 of my dress shirts. He’ll be mailing me the last suit in a few days. The quality and attention to detail are incredible. He offers great advice which was very helpful because this was my first time getting tailor made clothing. Much different vibe from the other tailors in the area. He’s so confident in his product he doesn’t stand in front hassling people to come in.

There's a myriad of suit tailors in phuket and ive previously had suits made that just dont stand up to Australian conditions.
I'm writing this review on a train, on my first day of a new job with one of Niphons suits. The fit and finish is simply awesome and comfortable to boot.
From the outset, the service with Niphon and team is nothing but excellent. Hotel pick up for first meeting,on time. Taking time to explain the variation in the extensive collection
Of high quality materials and price. Niphon has a genuine non pushy nature to the consultation to ensure you are happy with the product. He also takes the time to understand your job type. Not everyone is a stock broker earning millions! So he suggested something mid range(still 100% merino wool) from various Italian mills.
He simply beams with pride during each subsequent fitting and noting every little detail that needs adjustments(very few by the way!). He works close with his tailor to really ensure the end result is as expected. He was also very understanding of me being on a family holiday and happily accommodated my very active preschoolers! By the end My kids even had a lovely friendship with his grandchildren.
I was in the market for 2-3 suits. I wasn't sure about pricing but had a rough idea prior to going in. While he may not be the cheapest i can attest the quality of workmanship, materials and service is what sets Niphon out from the others. I agree with the previous reviewer...dont waste time and money elsewhere.
In the end i had 4 suits and 3 shirts of varying materials and design. All of which were delivered on time and fitted perfectly.
He has measurement details on hand and he essentially has a very happy repeat customer with me-Highly recommended!

Always good quality & well tailored suits & jackets. I’ve reviewed before. I get a couple of suits each year to keep me going back in Melbourne. My wife has had dresses made and even repairs of old favourites. DO NOT be distracted by cheap deals elsewhere. Niphon is the real deal. A consummate & thoughtful professional. Prices are very fair. I unreservedly recommend yet again.

Khun Niphon has made beautiful (and some plain functional) clothes for me, for nearly 10 years now. He is impeccable in his measurements - and diplomatic in letting me know when they have increased!
I've had business wear made (trousers, skirts) and blouses - but also some "I've got this fabric that I'd like to do something with" situations. He knows what will work & what won't, for fabric type & amount and also for my shape.
I've also taken items made elsewhere which he has fixed for me & created better, more flattering fit.
Khun Niphon & his assistant and attentive, professional and determined to get you quality clothes. His son Manit works in their Patong branch & is equally excellent.
If you want something made well, with quality for your money, you can't go wrong with Khun Niphon!!

Another year and another couple of suits for me and also for my wife. Niphon is a consummate professional and will guide you through what you need. Allow for 2 or 3 fittings and you will be impressed. Highly recommend.

Thank you! I've been to Thailand and Bali before and have always thought the quality of the suits would not be as good as back at home - I was wrong. I decided to try it this time and get two blazers made. I'm sorry I didn't get whole suits done. My partner got two full suits made and all of them were impeccable and turned around in two days!
The service here is great. Not pushy like some of the shops in the area. Very professional and the shop is the nicest I have seen.
We'll be ordering again.

Niphon's rich in Kata is a fantastic tailor that has very reasonable prices with great quality. Mr niphon himself was around to measure me repeatedly and conducted many fittings for just one suit. He even fits fussy dudes like me very well. Bottom line was I planned on making one suit to try him out....but I ended up with 2 suits, 1 blazer, 4 pants and 4 shirts. One happy customer here and would recommend him to anybody ! 👍

I cannot speak more highly of Niphon and his team and the quality of the suits and shirts I purchased.
I was extremely impressed with the friendly and professional service and I was amazed by the turnaround time - three business shirts and two suits in seven days without any affect on the quality.
My suits were delivered to my hotel as promised and on time ready for my departure.
Niphon was extremely tolerant of my small children in the shop while I was getting fitted and this was certainly appreciated as we were on a family holiday.
I will certainly be using the services of Niphon in the future.
A tip on finding Niphon in Kata/Karon - Ask to be taken to "Dino Park Mini Golf" - the shop is just down the street towards Kata Beach.

Back again this year for a couple of suits. Good quality and well cut suits made with care and attention. I've recommended this tailor before and still stand behind that recommendation. This year my wife had a ball gown made and she's equally satisfied. Don't be distracted by the cut price touts. Just go here.
