The place is beautiful, but I will give you some fundamental recommendations to make the overland road to it a good experience.
1. Being in good physical condition
2. Wearing sports shoes
3. Just backpack with water and food. Keep your hands free.
4. Do not carry babies or children if they make the way overland, and fewer older adults. If so, do it by sea.
5. Always follow the railing path, although in some sections it disappears, try to locate them.
Lucky and enjoy!

The beach is welcoming, we met many people traveling from our country, it is amazing. A spectacular atmosphere that makes you want to stay there with your family for months. I recommend this place, we liked it very much. We will also come next year, it is a very cozy and relaxing place.

This is a much longer walk from where you leave the car than advertised. Go by boat. The hike at the end was very steep and one slip could be life threatening. Steep and climbing over sharp boulders for approx 1 km. We turned back because of safety before we reached the beach. It looks beautiful from afar but not a safe walk.

The beach and the views are amazing, the water is clear and very beautiful. The beach is not that full and there is a lot of space available.
The soil (rocky not sandy) is very hot and you have to use shoes at all times to avoid burning.
WARNING: The path to the beach is really difficult and takes almost 1 hour. Going down is doable, going up is impossible. Seriously, we had to beg for a boat lift back to the port.

The road leading to car parking areas is rough and slow going if you don’t want to ground your vehicle. We went around 10am parked the car when I decided that was as far as I was prepared to take the rental.
We then had a total of 50 minutes to get to the beach arrived soaked in sweat. This involved walking up rocky roads to the refuge area then down single track rocky and root bearing until you reach the boulders. Then you have about 150 metre scramble to the beach. For me I like this sort of thing and am experienced with high level walking, scrambling and climbing. I had a small backpack with what I needed. Running trainers at least would be your minimum. I saw groups of people turn back who were sliders, sandals in my opinion was the right thing to do and totally unprepared for what lay ahead. You need to understand this is not a managed route and can be hazardous. Especially on the sea boulder section where sections have shiny rock that makes them slippery. I came across a young woman who slipped and twisted her ankle which was unfortunate for. So you need to concentrate and be precise with your feet and balance.
As for the beach I felt it was overrated.
It’s a pebble beach which obviously gets very hot so you have to move to the waters edge quickly.
It’s not that clean.
Loads of tour boats turn up so any serenity you were expecting is ruined by pumping music.
Shade is premium, I saw people plot up under the cliffs. If you look around you can see the landslides and boulder fall, I moved my stuff to a safe distance whilst pointing it out to some German tourists who did give jot about their or their children’s safety. If a rock went and hit you on the head you would more than likely die instantly. I am somewhat amazed the level of risk people are prepared to take by being unprepared, not researched or understand the environment they are in.
If you are a beach goer I wouldn’t bother as there are better ones with facilities.
If you like adventure then it may be for you. Personally I would say if you are s holiday maker who had been told about it I actually think the reward isn’t worth the risk.

Beautiful little cove that difficult to get to on foot/car and popular with boat trips.
We chose to drive. The road to the car park is rough, but we managed it in our rented Fiat 500, but we had to be very careful - a larger car could easily cope though, just don't drive daft. We ended up bottling it and not going all the way but the walk wasn't that far once you got to where the car parking spaces started.
The walk down is long and difficult, not for the infirm, and not for flip flops. We passed a few people as we were leaving doing the trip in flip flops and I wouldn't be surprised if most of them left with cut and scraped feet. Best take a back pack, you want your hands free for scrambling.
We arrived at about 9:30 and we were one of only 3 couples on the beach (one of which was naturist) and one boat anchored. Sun on the beach in the morning but the cliffs may shade the beach in the late afternoon. The tourist boats arrived at around 10:30 and brought paddleboarders and loud people, but they were gone an hour later.
The sand is small pebbles and the sea falls away quickly so you don't have to walk far to be into your shoulders. There were nudists dotted around the place throughout the day so beware/be liberated depending on your persuasion! No facilities, but a small family of goats did wander through at one point! Don't expect them to be there all day waiting for you, but stay long enough and you'll see them!

Echt Een Aanrader!.

Hi Steve, we are thinking about this beach also. Could you please share with me where exactly did you park a car, where did you start. I am afraid of heights, do you think I will manage it? :D Thank you a lot.

Thank you for this great info!
Would it be easy to reach on an atv (quad) or motorbike?
Thank you Camperdownfarmgirl!
Skrevet 20. april 2015
No, there are no streets. You need to hike through the rocks and through the wilderness, not wide enough for ATVs. Or you could reach it with a boat over sea.
