Nice place for photography. One of the amazing architectural bridges in Iran. You can also walk around the rural area over there.

This bridge was built before Islamic revolution in Iran in order of Pahlavi dynasty’s king, Reza Shah. It was built by the Austrian-Germany company and even without any complicated material. And for showing how much this monument is secured the director of this project with his family stood under the bridge when for the first time the train was passing on the rail of this bridge. It was also named the bridge of victory by Churchill because by this bridge Iran helped the Allied to complete their weapons. Almost every 25 minutes each train full of weapons passed on this bridge! Shocking ha!

Veresk Bridge is one of the largest railway bridges in Iran, located at the altitudes of the village of Veresk in the city of Literature in Mazandaran province. The bridge, which is considered a masterpiece of engineering, was reopened in 1315. The Veresk Bridge, which connects the main railroad to the north of Tehran, was constructed at a height of 110 meters from the bottom of the valley with a 66-meter span and with elemental means.
The name of the bridge in the Guinness Book of Records is recorded in the bridge section at altitudes above 61 meters. After rebuilding the bridge, Reza Shah came to the mountains to open the bridge. After examining and understanding how the bridge was built on a marvelous job, the Austrian engineer, along with his family, went under the bridge and Stay there until the first train crossed the bridge. Reza Shah wanted to get Austrian engineer assured, and the Austrian engineer, as sure as he and his team, was working on, the first train was taken over from the bridge and then Austrian and German engineers ensured this beautiful bridge for 70 years. The work of Reza Shah for the Indians and others who saw and heard this story was very wonderful, and today, after decades, this story is still flowing among Iranians.

After Firouzkooh city to the north, you will make to Veresk city, at Savaadkooh area, After passing a tunnel at right you can see the bridge that connects two mountains at heights of them. You can pull over there if you are not in hurry you can walk and get under the bridge and have a close visit, otherwise you can have a cup of coffee ☕️ beside the road and enjoy the sight of the Veresk bridge 🌁

there is no need to be an expert on bridge design or construction to surprise when you see Veresk bridge , i think anyone who sees this bridge and imagine the loads of the trains that have passed this bridge at last 80 years no doubt will admire the engineers who had designed and constructed this beautiful bridge . in addition to its pretty and beautiful architecture you will be more surprised when you find its only an arc masonry bridge , without even one kilogram rebar or other steel profiles . as i read bridge height is more than of 100 meters and the span is 66 meters .
Reza Shah , the king who has ordered to build the bridge when the first time saw the bridge ordered the head design engineer and his family stands just under the bridge when the first train passed the bridge to check whether the engineer believes to hos work or not and hopefully there was no failure and Versek bridge is on service still after 80 years .you will find this bridge on your way from Tehran to Shomal (Firooz kooh road ) just at Veresk ( almost mid of the road ) .

Арочный мост над ущельем, построенный европейскими инженерами незадолго до Второй мировой войны. Его изображения часто встречаются на всевозможных рекламных туристических плакатах Ирана. Самый простой способ посетить - утренний поезд из Тегерана в Сари.
