We were a small group with only a few hours stop-over in Keelung. I'm so glad we did this tour! Mila was great and told us a lot about the history of the port city and took us to try various unique foods in the market. Would definitely recommend it!

KeeLung For A Walk is an exceptional choice for walking tours and cultural immersion in Keelung City - I participated in the tours to Badouzi and the Fishing Culture Museum (very interesting and lots of fascinating artifacts to interact with) and the Ghost Festival Lantern Release tour (one of the best walking tours I've ever been on, a night that I will never forget). I recommend choosing them for all your travel needs, and thanks to the KFAW team for an incredible experience!

I really enjoyed my time in Keelung! everyone was so credibly and helpful. I would defiantly recommend this for anyone looking to get to know the city a bit more and who wants to meet interesting people.

What a great time! It was a large group of people who went together that all knew each other, and then a few friends and I. The tour itself was in Chinese, but the guides made sure to talk to me in English during some sections to fill in more of the history and narrative of the tour. I'd explored a lot of Keelung on my own, but the places we went were all brand new to me, so the energy was all about discovery, and I took some great night photos, especially of the past-midnight fish market. Highly recommended as a way to get to see, hear, and feel things that you wouldn't come across on your own!

It was my first time in Taiwan and I decided to stay in Keelung. It is the perfect city to learn more about Taiwan, the people and the culture, and what I liked was that it is more a town than a city, very charming at the port. I stayed at the accomodation from Keelung for a Walk and I also vidited the tours. I learnd so much about culture and history and espacially the fishmarket tour was my favorite and an authentic experience.
I really recommend to visit the tours or to check out Keelung Workation!

Keelung, a rainy city, is not only burdened with traffic transition,
It also carries rich life, terrain and history,
Participating in the midnight fishing market adventure is a good choice to get to know Keelung.
Moving in the middle of the night with sleepiness, wandering through the night alleys with a bit of adventure,
Walking on Shu Qi Bridge, drinking Sangong Liquor and experiencing midnight drinking,
Then we went to Yilong Walk and listened to the boss talk about the history of Kanzaiding and the development of handicrafts.
It made for a night of adventure.
It also carries rich life, terrain and history,

Mila was our guide for a 3 hour-tour in Keelung. It was a fantastic experience, as Mila gave us precious details of Keelung's history, and an opportunity to meet friendly interesting people along our walk, and speak to them. We warmly recommend her. Thank you Mila, hope to see you again.

I really enjoyed this cultural tour of Keelung! Our guide was very nice and showed us a lot of different places of the city with interesting explanations. We could see the emblematic spots and also the hidden spots that I could not find alone. The guide gave us also a lot of different advises about the city, the food to try, the places to explore and so on, so I recommend it a lot!

I came to Keelung from Japan! It's not a major city for Japanese people, so I was confused at first because I didn't have much information.
After joining this tour, I learned how to enjoy it, such as what kind of place it is and what the night market is famous for!
When you think of traveling to Taiwan, many people probably imagine shopping and sightseeing at architecture, but they teach you a different way to enjoy it locally (it's more fun to spend your time getting used to the local area rather than spending it lavishly). The booklet they give you lists tourist spots within walking distance.
I went to the park on the mountain and the sea as if I was taking a walk around my neighborhood!
The night view on a rainy day was so clear that it couldn't be compared to what I see in Tokyo.
The local people are always kind to me even though I don't understand Taiwanese.
Keelung is a really nice place, so I hope more Japanese people will come!

I joined a walking tour focusing on the Ghost Month celebrations that Keelung is especially known for. The team and Keelung for a Walk are designing and operating really detailed tours, as well as curating exhibitions and conducting research. Hi, we visit Keelung by cruise ship. How far is it from the cruise terminal to the city? Is there a possibility to get a city map for tourists?

Thanks for your message, it depends on which terminal you docked, one is far from the city, the other two is close to downtown, the terminal ususally provides map of Keelung and Taipei for tourist:)

Hello Joey, thanks for asking, if you arrive via cruise, you could reserve your private tour(walking or via van) by clicking the private tour page on Keelung for a walk official site.
It's recommended to reserve it 1-3 months before cause the same inquiry usually happened on same day~
