Because of group activities, we once again came to Feiniu Ranch in Tongxiao Town, Miaoli County. The entire farm covers an area of about 50 hectares. Visitors have multiple leisure options, divided into "tourist recreation area" and "agricultural production area"; in the tourist recreation area there are Barbecue area, camping area, accommodation area, restaurant, souvenir house, dairy store, conference room, etc.; agricultural production area for dairy products and pasture cultivation of dairy cow milk, organic park for planting flowers and organic vegetables, where you can experience farm life. The natural ecological area includes a dairy ecological area, a butterfly ecological area, cute animal areas, natural trails and a water ecological area. The Feiniu Restaurant has a high CP value for its dishes, and there is also a DIY piggy bank that can be painted in the shape of a cow, making it suitable for family outings.

很多有趣好玩的活動，像是擠牛奶、餵羊吃草、鴨鴨大遊行等，都為本次旅行增添不少活潑的氣息。牧場很大，風景很好，拍照起來超級美，還可以換鮮乳或養樂多，鮮乳香醇順口，養樂多也很不錯，是親子一起遊玩的好地點~

Visited in 2019 Aug and this recent visit, the experience is better. Definitely because of low season, no queues at farm, no noisy kids and thumping feet. Had a great sleep and the kids enjoyed no queues to feed the ducks, goats and to milk cows. But twice is definitely enough. Very rustic so set expectations right.

A very exotic, relaxed and unforgettable place to get away from urban noise. Especially kids could run around , the senior could look at the endless greenery and the family could have an easy picnic. Everyone could could enjoy himself hete.

A Great place to get out in the open for a day. The farm is really big and the place is well maintained with lots of areas for picnics.

We didn’t stay there but went there for a day trip. Was a bit disappointed, there were not many animals. The diy stations looks a bit run down. There were not many people at the ranch. Maybe because I visited on a weekday morning in December.

Kids will like it esp the cow milking activities. The place is huge so expect a lot of walking from one point to another.

Stayed a night in the cottage with 2 kids (2yo and 7yo). Cottage comes in a single + a double bed. Clean and spacious. 👍🏻During check in, staff will hand you a coupon and dining brochure, so you can have a good feel of the dining options available. 👍🏻
There’s nothing much after sunset, other than the diy activities. But it was good for parent child bonding. And the cake actually taste 👍🏻.
Spent half a day on the farm activities. The large field was perfect for playing frisbee, and it can be purchase from the souvenir shop.
There’s a dryer nearby the diy area, which we tried, but the clothes weren’t fully dried after one process.

We don’t get the welcome feel from the staff here. Hospitality - 2/10! Especially the male staff who ushered us to our room! We had luggages and stroller, and the road was uneven. Despite seeing us having difficulties, no help was offered. Even after my boy fell and hurt himself when he was trying to push the luggage, he remained unfeeling, no help offered! This was HORRIBLE! It was also tough to find a smiling working staff. Some staff training needed seriously!
I will consider thrice to stay/visit here again, if I want to put up with this attitude during a holiday.

We stayed one night here and room is clean and spacious. Coupons were given to exchange for milk or yakult and we chose yakult (多多) for all. After we checked in, we had steamboat at their restaurant. We ordered mixed pot and one of the soup base was milk soup. Unique taste but not to our liking (except my daughter loved it) There was a DIY activity at 8pm and activity varies every time. Decent breakfast next day. Peaceful nature with activities for the kids but we only did calf feeding and watched duck marching as the kids didnt want to milk the cow. There are more activities which are payable but we didnt have the time so we didnt do.

A very comfortable stay in Flying Cow Ranch. We stayed in the 5-pax room which was very spacious. Everything looked very new.
Our room was about 10 mins walk from the restaurants. It was a bit inconvenient for meals and to the farm.
The surrounding was beautiful and clean. Very well kept. There was night activity for guests who stayed there.

Are all the activities available on weekdays too? Or is there lesser activities on weekdays?

There are fewer activities on the weekdays - e.g. the tractor ride around the farm only runs on weekends. Some of the younger animals like the ducklings only make an appearance on the weekends. There is still plenty to do though!

We rented a car and drove there, but you can also take a train and then a taxi to the farm. I remember seeing this on a website - just do a search on how to get to Flying Cow Ranch from Taipei airport.

Is it possible just to spend 2hrs there? What can we do?
Do they have timing to feed the ducks or milk the cow?

The duration to spend there is based on what activities you would like to do. Forgotten if I see any ducks. To milk the cows there are specific timings.
Think the car(bus/tram, dunno what’s it’s called) have to pay. 40NTD if I didn’t remember wrongly.
Don’t have to pay to feed the cow, use their playground or walk around the park(that will be more than 2 hours). But if you’re keen to take part in activities like cow painting(painting on a ceramic cow) etc, then the charges are according to the individual activities. 😊
Half a day(approx 4 hours) will be good for those who don’t stay over there. But once again, it depends on what activities you have in mind. There are sufficient to take part for 1 full day(but sometimes the timing of the activities might clash so people might spend even up to 2-3 days there I think).

Is OK to visit Flying Cow Ranch and spend at least 4 hours there from Taipei city. Then you can visit Gaomei Wetland at the outskirt of Taichung city then stat at hotel at Taichung city. FYI

飛牛牧場的牛羊其實都圈養著，所以什麼季節去都會看見牛羊。鴨子也是。小鴨子屋其實是戶內外鴨子暢行無阻的，要看到應該不難，除非巧遇寒流，否則這段時間台灣也大概進入秋天而已。

Would you recommend staying over the weekend or on weekdays? Travelling with young kids in end November and keen to participate in the activities.

I suppose if you really want to stay then weekday might be better so that less crowded and u can take part in more activities.
Or unless u like to take part with more crowd then go weekends.
But as mentioned in my post, actually I would suggest u go in daytime for the activities and leave before night fall.. that will save you one night. That's just personal opinion though.

Hi my family will be touching down in Taoyuan airport around 1.15pm on 19 Nov and will like to book a one night stay in the farm on 19 Nov. Will there be accommodation for myself,husband n my 2 kids aged 7 and 9? By the way i read from the feedback that there is pick up from airport to the farm, is that arrangement still available?
