We had an amazing time! Everything was super organised. Solomon was so nice, full of knowledge and helped us with everything we needed. The Danakil was beautiful, the food was great and they make sure we will be safe (those days it’s important). Great experience!!

We went to the danakil desert for 3 days with the great man-Solomon.
We drove with 4x4, slept in the nature, ate really good food from our cooker.
We saw lava, salt see and other amazing peoples and landscapes.
Solomon did for us the best time, with great smile and big modest heart.

My friend and I are 2 girls from Israel. We found Alpha tours while looking at their review online, and was so glad we decided to plan our trip with them.
Their service was extraordinary, Moshe helped us plan the entire trip and Gere was the contact guy in Ethiopia that was available for us and our needs at any given time! We received much more than what we expected. The drivers were sweet and caring, the guides were professionals, the cars were clean and comfortable, the food was great and every single part of that trip was outstanding. We found friends for life, amazing people. Thabk you so much Gere for everything, we will never forget you!
Alpha tours is by far the best agency in Ethiopia!! We recommend all their services and if we ever go back, no doubt we will hire them again. :)

I Highly recommend Gebere Tadessa (Gere) a guide and the company owner of Alpha Ethiopia Tours in Mekele, Ethiopia. Gere Tadessa He is an extraordinary, honest, decent, and a human person.
On the professional side, Gera is an energetic man with amazing abilities to find a solution to any problem and make his clients highly satisfied. If any consider who will be the perfect men and company to choose to plan and arrange a trip to Ethiopia - Gere is the ideal solution
We first got to know him about three years ago, and since then on any trip to Africa, we make a stopover in Addis Ababa just to meet him.
On our the first trip with him, Gere showed great flexibility and responsiveness to all our needs. There was nothing we asked for (including specific dietary requirements) and changes of the initially planned trip that was not immediately answered. At the same time, we also looked at other agents, and Gera's offer was attractive both in terms of price and in terms of ability to organize in different parts of Ethiopia.
Due to an injury, we were had to change our plan of a track at the Simian. Gere us an alternative which was more complicated to organize because of our time frame, lack of domestic flights, a 4X4 car organization etc.
Gere immediately organized a driver and an accompanying guide to the Umo area, and other permits required for tribal travel. He made us feel that there was no problem and that everything would be fine as we wished.
Along the way, he was able to troubleshoot, replace the vehicle while having an incredible and almost impossible operation.
We travelled the southern Ethiopian tribes with a lovely guide who organized. Gere was in contact with and the local guide several times a day to make sure everything was going well.
Gere accepted without any hassle or any discussion of the extra costs any change in plan that we wanted to make and was extremely helpful, knew all the details and was connected to almost anybody around
In two other times, we visited Addis Abeba; we had a stopover. We had a joined tour of the city, and dinner with him. We felt that we had gained a true friend.
During the Coronavirus crisis (March 2020), I explored for a way to help my daughter to come back home to Israel and found a flight through Addis Ababa. Gera was in close contact with me until she arrived in Addis, updating me with some possible and unpredictable changes, and made me feel as if he is taking care of his daughter
He took care of my daughter and her friend in Addis until the flight back home. Also, he had arranged a lovely car driver and a guide to accompanied them on a delightful tour of the city.
There is no doubt that if you have to choose a local guide and an agent to organize a trip to Ethiopia, Gera is your best choice. Gere's experience flexibility, initiative, organizational capabilities and humanity made us got in love with Ethiopia and have an extraordinary experience over there.

和朋友定了1月份的埃塞之行，气候不是非常的热，很舒服. 我们的旅行除去长途飞行，总共有十天，基本是经典线路，覆盖了北部宗教城市Lalibela，中部火山盐湖和南部的原始部落. 整个行程是旅行社根据我们要求制定安排的，我们的司机和导游都非常的好，一开始因为住宿的问题不太满意，旅行社也马上帮我们改了酒店，一路上有问题老板就直接帮我们解决，服务非常的好，很感谢，也愿意把这家旅社推荐给要去的小伙伴们.

行程安排非常好，把几个目标地点告诉老板之后就能很细致的排出具体行程，完全不用操心中间的各种细节，不止我原定的danakil和simien mountain非常棒，Gere根据我行程增加的yemata church和gonder的city walk也是意外的惊喜，强烈推荐~

The trip is perfect. We visited both south and north part of Ethiopia. Thanks for Gere and he made the last minute arrangement. We also had the chance to participate the Timkit festival in Gondar. It is one of the highlight in this trip.
