I believe it was 5 cuc per person. We walked around on our own although we did have a driver with us. He didn't have to pay but he also did not give us a tour. Enjoy, amazing photo opps in there.

Yes, those are the correct hours of operation and yes they are "flexible". Lovely place to tour, the statuary is impressive and some of the last words, dedications and comments written on the graves moving, poetic and at times even hilarious, if you know Spanish. Visit the grave of La Milagrosa and bring her some flowers, there are lots for sale in carts around the entrances. You can find English speaking guides at the gates and it's worth to hire one. Cost is negotiable but 5 to 10 CUC ($5-10 US) is usual depending on the length of the tour. Graves in Havana are all above ground, like in New Orleans, and most are made of white marble. The cemetery includes separate Jewish and Chinese sections. If there is a burial in progress, you may respectfully witness from the back but no pictures or videos as it is considered very disrespectful, except for the family members themselves if they choose to do so.

We had a Cuban driver who showed us around. No idea about a local guide. I would recommend negociating, best thing to do not to get ripped off.

hola ale, mira a mi no me parecio muy barato. estuve 3 dias y gaste mucha plata. si se que en todos lados tenes q pelear los precios. a los cubanos le cobran un precio a los extranjeros otro y asi es todo. yo cuando salgo de viaje no me gusta estar peleando los precios con la gente pero cada vez q nos sentabamos a comer eran 30 cuc para dos personas, no comiamos mal pero no me parecio barato. 30 cuc seran unos 35 dolares y teniendo en cuenta q el dolar en argentina esta 15 pesos eran unos 550 pesos ap cada vez q nos sentabamos a comer. quizas te convenga hablar con gente de alla q son ls q te pueden guiar, pero tene cuidado con quien hablas tambien porq por todo tenes q dar propina y mi consejo, no compres nada en la calle!! habanos, ron, etc. compra en lugares oficiales

Hola es un placer y tratarè de ser lo mas explìcito posible , en realidad no nos cobraron nada por entrar y ademàs conseguimos un señor de seguridad que fue muy amable y nos orientò donde estaban unos panteones muy famosos y extremadamente bien cuidados.
