We hired a driver for the week and did what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it. Our driver was wonderful! Mr. T was always early, always courteous and always looking our for us. We got along with him really well. He was flexible and if we decided to change what we were doing, he could go with the flow on a moment's notice.
He was knowledgeable and gave us history and information everywhere we went, which made the trip so much better. We spent a full day in the Blue Mountains, even stopping to buy freshly roasted coffee from a woman on the side of the road. We stopped and bought panchicken (jerk) also on the side of the road, as well as stopping at several mountain cafes to take photos and have coffee.
Mr. T took us shopping one day, patiently following us from shop to shop to make sure we were alright and that we didn't get lost. The van was always nearby in case we needed to stop or deposit bags. He took us to places we never would have found by ourselves and we had a very successful shopping day.
He took us to Ocho Rios for the day, traveling the old road on the way there to see the scenery and stopping along the way to take photos and talk to locals. He took us to the White River for river rafting and knew who to talk to to get us the best oarsmen.
We spent a day in Kingston, visiting historic sites and landmarks, like Devon House, which we really enjoyed.
We had a lot of fun with Mr. T. He was a good fit for us and if we go back to the Kingston/Ocho Rios area, we will ask for him again. We found a new friend!
I would recommend Marvyn's Paradise Tours to anyone. I had both email and phone conversations with both Marvyn and Sana and they were always friendly and extremely helpful. They wanted us to have a great vacation and with their help, we did!
